This paper develops an analysis of virtual chains religious imagetic. The profusion of images that accompanies us is an irrefutable fact today. The imagetic and virtual join the religion. The approach of the old with the new makes possible the emergence of this new religious practice. Therefore, the study sought to characterize the context in which the virtual chains religious develop. From this perspective, emphasizes religion and cyberculture in order to explain how from that link, it originates an element that exemplifies the current society imagery. This study of the chains takes place from the perspective of the receiver. The image is considered as language, while in communicating becomes capable of imitation

Conventional control strategies used in shunt active power filters (SAPF) employs real-time instantaneous harmonic detection schemes which is usually implements with digital filters. This increase the number of current sensors on the filter structure which results in high costs. Furthermore, these detection schemes introduce time delays which can deteriorate the harmonic compensation performance. Differently from the conventional control schemes, this paper proposes a non-standard control strategy which indirectly regulates the phase currents of the power mains. The reference currents of system are generated by the dc-link voltage controller and is based on the active power balance of SAPF system. The reference currents are aligned to the phase angle of the power mains voltage vector which is obtained by using a dq phase locked loop (PLL) system. The current control strategy is implemented by an adaptive pole placement control strategy integrated to a variable structure control scheme (VS¡APPC). In the VS¡APPC, the internal model principle (IMP) of reference currents is used for achieving the zero steady state tracking error of the power system currents. This forces the phase current of the system mains to be sinusoidal with low harmonics content. Moreover, the current controllers are implemented on the stationary reference frame to avoid transformations to the mains voltage vector reference coordinates. This proposed current control strategy enhance the performance of SAPF with fast transient response and robustness to parametric uncertainties. The competitiveness of the trade generated by the higher availability of products with lower quality and cost promoted a new reality of industrial production with small clearances. Track deviations at the production are not discarded, uncertainties can statistically occur. The world consumer and the Brazilian one are supported by the consumer protection code, in lawsuits against the products poor quality. An automobile is composed of various systems and thousands of constituent parts, increasing the likelihood of failure. The dynamic and security systems are critical in relation to the consequences of possible failures. The investigation of the failure gives us the possibility of learning and contributing to various improvements. Our main purpose in this work is to develop a systematic, specific methodology by investigating the root cause of the flaw occurred on an axle end of the front suspension of an automobile, and to perform comparative data analyses between the fractured part and the project information. Our research was based on a flaw generated in an automotive suspension system involved in a mechanical judicial cause, resulting in property and personal damages. In the investigations concerning the analysis of mechanical flaws, knowledge on materials engineering plays a crucial role in the process, since it enables applying techniques for characterizing materials, relating the technical attributes required from a respective part with its structure of manufacturing material, thus providing a greater scientific contribution to the work. The specific methodology developed follows its own flowchart. In the early phase, the data in the records and information on the involved ones were collected. The following laboratory analyses were performed: macrography of the fracture, micrography with SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) of the initial and final fracture, phase analysis with optical microscopy, Brinell hardness and Vickers microhardness analyses, quantitative and qualitative chemical analysis, by using X-ray fluorescence and optical spectroscopy for carbon analysis, qualitative study on the state of tension was done. Field data were also collected. In the analyses data of the values resulting from the fractured stock parts and the design values were compared. After the investigation, one concluded that: the developed methodology systematized the investigation and enabled crossing data, thus minimizing diagnostic error probability, the morphology of the fracture indicates failure by the fatigue mechanism in a geometrically propitious location, a tension hub, the part was subjected to low tensions by the sectional area of the final fracture, the manufacturing material of the fractured part has low ductility, the component fractured in an earlier moment than the one recommended by the manufacturer, the percentages of C, Si, Mn and Cr of the fractured part present values which differ from the design ones, the hardness value of the superior limit of the fractured part is higher than that of the design, and there is no manufacturing uniformity between stock and fractured part. The work will contribute to optimizing the guidance of the actions in a mechanical engineering judicial expertise

Foram analisados dados turbulentos de resposta rápida, coletados em torres micrometeorológicas de 54 metros de altura em Caxiuanã-Pa, de 60 metros de altura na Rebio-Jarú-Ro e em torre de 4,04 metros de altura na Fazenda Nossa Senhora-Ro. Foi desenvolvido estudo comparativo de detecção de estruturas coerentes em dados obtidos acima de florestas e pastagem, portanto sob diferentes condições de rugosidade superficial. Aplicou-se a Transformada em Ondeletas de Morlet para identificar a escala de ocorrência das estruturas coerentes nos sinais de temperatura. Comparou-se a duração média e o comprimento médio das estruturas coerentes para duas.superfícies com rugosidades superficiais diferentes: Caxiuanã e Fazenda Nossa Senhora. Parâmetros de estabilidade atmosférica foram calculados para propiciar um estudo da variabilidade das estruturas coerentes em função das condições de estabilidade atmosférica. Foi calculado sobre a Rebio-Jarú a altura do ponto de inflexão do perfil vertical da velocidade do vento médio e a partir do valor do mesmo observou-se uma nítida correlação deste com a escala de ocorrência das estruturas coerentes. Finalmente, foram calculados os coeficientes de correlação para os sinais brutos e na escala de ocorrência das estruturas coerentes com a finalidade de melhor compreender os resultados de um ponto de vista da ação das estruturas coerentes na mistura turbulenta. Os resultados mostram um comportamento marcadamente diferente, no que diz respeito à floresta e à pastagem. Observou-se que em superfícies rugosas, tais com florestas, em condições próximas da neutralidade, predominam padrões de oscilações associados as escalas temporais da ordem de 80 s, as quais provavelmente, são manifestações de estruturas do tipo "rolos". No entanto, à medida que a altura do ponto de inflexão se aproximou do topo do dossel ocorreu uma diminuição na duração das estruturas coerentes. Além disso, foi observado que o coeficiente de correlação calculado na escala de ocorrência das estruturas coerentes foi consideravelmente maior que o mesmo calculado para o sinal bruto. Tais resultados sugerem mudanças significativas na estrutura da turbulência em regiões desmatadas comparativamente àquelas em que foram mantidas as florestas primárias da Amazônia.

A principal dificuldade encontrada na proteção diferencial de transformadores de potência é a correta distinção entre as correntes de inrush e as correntes de faltas internas. Tradicionalmente os relés diferenciais executam esta tarefa utilizando a técnica de restrição por harmônicos baseada na premissa de que as correntes de inrush possuem alta concentração de componentes harmônicas de segunda ordem, contudo essa técnica nem sempre é eficaz. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar a proposta de duas novas metodologias capazes de realizar a identificação e distinção entre as correntes de inrush das correntes de faltas internas na proteção diferencial de transformadores de potência através de metodologias que não dependem do conteúdo de harmônicos do sinal da corrente diferencial. A primeira metodologia proposta, denominada de método do gradiente da corrente diferencial, é baseada no comportamento do vetor gradiente, obtido através da diferenciação numérica do sinal da corrente diferencial. O critério de distinção utilizado é baseado no desvio padrão do ângulo do vetor gradiente que apresenta comportamento diferenciado para correntes de inrush e correntes de curto-circuito. A segunda metodologia proposta é baseada na capacidade de reconhecimento e classificação de padrões das redes neurais de Mapeamento Auto-organizável de Kohonen. Como padrão de entrada e de treinamento da rede neural é utilizado um vetor contendo quatro níveis do espectro do desvio padrão do ângulo do vetor gradiente da corrente diferencial nas três fases do transformador de potência. A eficácia dos métodos foi testada através da simulação de diversas situações de faltas internas e correntes de inrush, incluindo situações de “Sympathetic Inrush”, em um transformador de potência usando o software EMTP/ATP e através da implementação do algoritmo em MATLAB®, apresentando resultados altamente promissores.

Overcurrents may endanger the whole electrical system and living beings, they are the result of short circuits and failures that can occur in electrical systems, no matter how well designed they are. Therefore it is important to predict these failures with analysis of electrical systems to make it possible to design appropriate protections, to ensure that those intervene properly and avoid technical and mainly human losses. However there is no standard for calculation of the short circuit currents, the main authors of the national literature about the subject suggest various methods, knowing the particularities among them provides quick and easy choice and proper application of them. To do so, a base case from an electrical system that presents a short circuit is chosen, which will be analyzed using the methods presented

It is clear today the ever-accelerating search for new fuels that will eventually replace those that will survive in our society, which are fossil fuels. For this reason, a fuel used since the dawn of humanity and much studied since then, considered the generator of clean, renewable energy, can earn more and more space in the power generation sector, which is biomass. We performed two experiments with two different types of biomass, one from the Amazon rainforest and other pine and eucalyptus as waste from the sawmill UNESP Itapeva. In the first experiment, conducted at the Laboratory of Combustion and Propulsion INPE Cachoeira Paulista were conducted three tests in a chimney with a fan creating forced ventilation, where the biomass was burned and deposited on a support beneath the hood. In the second experiment was conducted to analyze the emission of particulate matter using biomass (waste) from the sawmill on the campus of UNESP experimental Itapeva the burning of it in a burner for heating water for a wood oven. In these experiments we used a particle called DATARAM4 sampler that is capable of sampling both outdoors and inside of pipelines, which is the focus of this work. With this equipment it was possible to measure the concentration of particulate matter in all the firings as above, and compare them to levels acceptable in the current law, always trying to analyze the so-called fine particles, which are those with diameters less than 2.5 μm. Using data obtained from the equipment was also possible to evaluate the diametral distribution of particulate matter in question, and verify which phases of the flares in the concentration and the diameters of the particles are the most critical. In this work we concluded that in all firings conducted concentrations of particulate matter were higher than that allowed by the law, and the diameters were found that are more harmful to human health

Aedes (Stegomyia) aegypti is a species of mosquitoes known to be the vector of diseases such as dengue and yellow fever, and a better understanding of aspects of their biology can help in the establishment of control strategies for the same. Several previous studies showed that temperature significantly affects the development of immature stages of insects. In general, higher temperatures (up to a threshold) accelerate the development of insects, and lower temperature retards the same. This rule also applies to mosquitoes, including Ae. aegypti. But not still know the effects of daily variation of temperature on the developmental stages of mosquitoes. And this detail is very important, since in natural breeding or artificial, The mosquitoes usually face temperature variations over a single day, which should interfere with its development until the emergence of the adult forms. For this reason, the objective of this study is to analyze the effect of alternating temperatures on the development of Ae. aegypti. To conduct the study, adults were collected active in the neighborhood Bela Vista Campus of UNESP - Rio Claro, SP, using a sweep net or using ovitraps for immatures, and the active search for breeding. Individuals collected were kept under experimental conditions in the laboratory. The adult samples were identified to species level, were considered for the experiments, only samples of Ae. aegypti. The insects were housed in plastic cages, suitable for creating flies. These were fed with sugar solution and blood meal on alternate days. The eggs obtained were used in the experiment with four different temperature regimes. The data collected were analyzed by evaluating whether the different treatments influenced the development of immature to adult, performing the Kruskal-Wallis test and the statistical software BioEstat. Ce travail est consacré sur la perspective dialogique d'étude d'un type de texte assez bien populaire sur les médias numériques; appelés par chaîne, il s'agit des messages qui sont transmises par e-mail de façon très rapide et de large propagation parmi ses usagers. La recherche a par objective principal analyser les discours véhiculés par les appelés chaînes, en abordant ses thèmes plus recourants, liées aux concepts de dialogue et genre, présents sur les travaux du Circule de Bakhtine. Par constitution du corpus ils sont allés sélectionnées des chaînes transmises par e-mail entre les années de 2009 et 2011. Dans l'analyse du matériel collecté on a découvert des différences plus généralistes que nous ont permis sa organisation en trois différents grands thèmes: religieuse, relations et utilité publique. Les chaînes composées par la thématique religieuse amènent une mode d’interpellation assez très incisif, direct et explicite à son destinataire, pour qu'il puisse renvoyer le message reçu à des autres destinataires. Il s'agit d'un appel, souvent, coactif et menaçant, avec le but aussi de persuader le destinataire à adhérer au discours religieux contenu dans le message. Le discours religieux des chaînes est configuré d'une façon de défi, ou test, pour lesquelles il y a une promesse de récompense. Le deuxième type de chaîne analysé explore le thème des relations homme/femme et interpelle son destinataire d'une façon suggestionné et non coercitive
