3.101 libros se publicaron en España en 1947 : las autorizaciones de pago de derechos de traducción a los editores ascendieron durante el año pasado a 1.384.565,63 pesetas.

Se ofrecen datos oficiales a modo de resumen estadístico facilitado por el Instituto Nacional del Libro Español sobre las obras publicadas en España durante 1947, que ascendía a 3101. Se ofrece una perspectiva de lo mismo descompuesto en materias, entre las más destacadas, la literatura; una clasificación según el número de páginas de cada publicación; una clasificación de los libros según la nacionalidad de sus autores; según las ciudades editoras; la clasificación según las autorizaciones de pagos de derechos de traducción a los editores según los países y obras traducidas por países. También se ofrece una clasificación de las revistas autorizadas por la Dirección General de Prensa, divididas en temas religiosos y profanos. Por último se ofrecen los datos sobre los diarios que se publicaban es España en 1947, destacándose entre los más vendidos el ABC y el Ya.

Culture and exopolysaccharide production from sugarcane molasses by Gordonia polyisoprenivorans CCT 7137, isolated from contaminated groundwater in Brazil

Gordonia polyisoprenivorans CCT 7137 was isolated from groundwater contaminated with leachate in an old controlled landfill (Sauo Paulo, Brazil), and cultured in GYM medium at different concentrations of sugarcane molasses (2%, 6%, and 10%). The strain growth was analyzed by monitoring the viable cell counts (c.f.u. mL(-1)) and optical density and EPS production was evaluated at the end of the exponential phase and 24 h after it. The analysis of the viable cell counts showed that the medium that most favored bacterial growth was not the one that favored EPS production. The control medium (GYM) was the one that most favored the strain growth, at the maximum specific growth rate of 0.232 h(-1). Differences in bacterial growth when cultured at three different concentrations of molasses were not observed. Production of EPS, in all culture media used, began during the exponential phase and continued during the growth stationary phase. The highest total EPS production, after 24 h of stationary phase, was observed in 6% molasses medium (172.86 g L(-1)) and 10% (139.47 g L(-1)) and the specific total EPS production was higher in 10% molasses medium (39.03 x10(-11)g c.f.u.(-1)). After the exponential phase, in 2%, 6%, and 10% molasses media, a higher percentage of free exopolysaccharides (EPS) was observed, representing 88.4%, 62.4%, and 64.2% of the total, respectively. A different result was observed in pattern medium, which presented EPS made up of higher percentage of capsular EPS (66.4% of the total). This work is the first study on EPS production by G. polyisoprenivorans strain in GYM medium and in medium utilizing sugarcane molasses as the sole nutrient source and suggests its potential use for EPS production by G. polyisoprenivorans CCT 7137 aiming at application in biotechnological processes.

Acanthoscurrin Fragment 101-132: Total Synthesis at 60 degrees C of a Novel Difficult Sequence

Glycine-rich proteins (GRP), serve a variety of biological functions. Acanthoscurrin is an antimicrobial GRP isolated front hemocytes-of the Brazilian spider Acanthoscurria gomesiana. Aiming to contribute to the knowledge of the secondary structure and stepwise solid-phase synthesis of GRPs` glycine-rich domains, we attempted to prepare G(101)GGLGGGRGGGYG(113) GGGGYGGGYG(123)GGy(126)GGGKYK(132)-NH(2), acanthoscurrin C-terminal amidated fragment. Although a theoretical prediction did not indicate high aggregation potential for this peptide, repetitive incomplete aminoacylations were observed after incorporating Tyr(126) to the growing peptide-MBHA resin (Boc chemistry) at 60 degrees C. The problem was not solved by varying the coupling reagents or solvents, adding chaotropic salts to the reaction media or changing the resin/chemistry (Rink amide resin/Fmoc chemistry). Some improvement was mode when CLEAR amide resin (Fmoc chemistry) was 32 used, as it allowed for obtaining fragment (G(113)-K(132) NIR-FT-Raman spectra collected for samples of the growing peptide-MBHA, -Rink amide resin and -CLEAR amide resin revealed the presence of beta-sheet structures. Only the combination of CLEAR-amide resin, 60 degrees C, Fmoc-(Fmoc-Hmb)Gly-OH and LiCl (the last two used alternately) was able to inhibit the phenomenon, as proven by NIR-FT-Raman analysis of the growing peptide-resin, allowing the total synthesis of desired 132 fragment Gly(101)-K(132). In summary, this work describes a new difficult sequence, contributes to understanding stepwise solid-phase synthesis of this type of peptide and shows that, at least while protected and linked to a resin, this GRPs glycine-rich motif presents all early tendency to assume beta-sheet structures. A intervenção estatal no domínio econômico privado através da nova lei de recuperação de empresas e falências (lei 11.101/05)

Analysis of the elements of the Constitutional Order of the letter 1988 politics, with emphasis in the principles of this, a study on the intervention of the State in the private initiative by means of the Law of Recovery of Companies and Bankruptcies (law 11.101/05). New enterprise vision is admitted, over all in the interdependence between economic and social factors. Study on the globalization and the interdependence of economic and legal sciences in the construction of a legal optics in the search for the economic and social development, with the recognition of the interference of the Economy in the Right and its uneven importance. Still, we delineate the state intervention in the economic scope, of company and in the judicial recovery, as well as the consequences of such intervention in the involved credits in the judicial recovery and patrimony of the debtor in recovery. For such task, the elements of the Judicial Recovery, its principles and adequacy of these to the related ones in the chapter had been analyzed that turns on the national economic Order, describing the formal procedure for concession of the benefit of the Judicial Recovery and the principles in existing them. The forms of intervention of the State in the private economy were not disrespected, relating its direct and indirect performance as half of preservation of interests writings in the constitutional scope as public interest and preservation of the National economic Order. The regulating agencies as of direct state intervention were half not disrespected of the study for the relevance of the subject. It is revised national bibliography with incursions in French, Portuguese and North American comparative jurisprudence. One contributes in the aspect of the paper of the Judiciary Power in the protection of the companies in crisis and the social and economic impacts, over all in relation to the rights of the worked ones, credit and enterprise
