The present work appertains to a series of investigations in the field of trophodynamics of water bodies conducted by the department of hydrobiology ”Mosrybvtuza” under the leadership of Prof. Director N.S. Gaevska. Usually with quantitative collections of benthos ostracoda are hardly taken account of. But with the employment of special methods it is possible to be convinced that they are encountered in massive numbers. The role of ostracods in the nutrition of fish is recognised as important by many authors. On the question of the feeding of ostracods, in the literature there are only the fragmentary indications about the occurrence in the gut of ostracods of algae (diatoms, desmids) and detritus. The study of the feeding of ostracods was conducted both by the method of dissecting the guts of ostracods taken from natural waters, and by the method of feeding ostracods under laboratory conditions with a variety of food objects. Moreover, with a view to revision of obtained quantitative data, for determination of food requirements of ostracods the respiration method was applied.

The Siberian Dace (Leuciscus leuciscus baicalensis (Dyb)is an important trade fish in Siberian waters. In the Ob basin more than 30,000 centners are produced annually. Catches of dace fluctuate significantly both between different rivers and between years in the Tomsk region. Defining the stocks of dace in the waters of the Tomsk region and explaining the fluctuations over time seems to be a very important and relevant question for the workers of the fishing industry. An answer, however, requires an accurate knowledge of the biology of dace; its reproductive, feeding and migration habits and the conditions of wintering etc. In the following we examine one of the above questions i.e. the biology of the reproduction of dace. The study was carried out in the Middle Ob in May 1951. This tranlations provides the introduction, summary and table captions only of the original article.

简单介绍了利用LNS的回旋加速器产生的116Sn束轰击12C和24Mg靶的实验装置以及实验过程.该实验通过MEDEA探测器测量了由全熔合与非全熔合反应产生的较低激发能区(160—300MeV)质量数A≈125的热核的巨偶极共振特性,比较了不同靶子、不同束流能量时巨偶极共振的γ产额的变化.

利用在束γ谱学方法,通过~(124)Sn(~7Li,α2n)反应研究了~(125)Sb的激发态,首次建立了~(125)Sb的高自旋能级纲图,其中包括21条新γ跃迁和14个新能级。发现1970,2110和2470 keV3个能级为同质异能态,基于延迟符合测量确定了它们的寿命范围,并确定其自旋、宇称分别为15/2~-,19/2~-和23/2~+。根据粒子-核芯耦合图像和经验壳模型计算解释了~(125)Sb的能级结构,3个同质异能态的组态分别被指定为πg_(7/2)(×)V(h_(11/2)s_(1/2))_(5~-),πg_(7/2)(×)V(h_(11/2)d_(3/2))_(7~-)和πg_(7/2)(×)V(h_(11/2)~2)_(10~+),

利用在束γ谱学方法 ,通过1 2 4 Sn( 7Li,α2n)反应首次研究了丰中子核1 2 5Sb的高自旋态 .建立了自旋达 2 3 2 +、激发能至 2 63 7keV的能级纲图 ,其中包括 2 1条新γ跃迁和 1 4个新能级 .在 1 970 ,2 1 1 0和 2 471keV识别出了 3个同质异能态 ,估计了它们的寿命范围 ,并建议分别具有πg7 2 ν(h1 1 2 s1 2 ) ,πg7 2 ν(h1 1 2 d3 2 ) ,πg7 2 ν(h21 1 2 )三准粒子组态 .根据价质子与1 2 4 Sn核芯激发态的耦合讨论了1 2 5Sb的能级结构 .

BACKGROUND: We present two clinical cases from a single institution where a final diagnosis of cardiac failure was made following the initial finding of ascites and an elevated CA 125 level. In both cases gynaecological malignancy was initially suspected.

We present a comparison of two Suzaku X-ray observations of the nearby (z = 0.184), luminous (L ∼ 10 erg s) type I quasar, PDS 456. A new 125 ks Suzaku observation in 2011 caught the quasar during a period of low X-ray flux and with a hard X-ray spectrum, in contrast with a previous 190 ks Suzaku observation in 2007 when the quasar appeared brighter and had a steep (Γ > 2) X-ray spectrum. The 2011 X-ray spectrum contains a pronounced trough near 9 keV in the quasar rest frame, which can be modeled with blueshifted iron K-shell absorption, most likely from the He- and H-like transitions of iron. The absorption trough is observed at a similar rest-frame energy as in the earlier 2007 observation, which appears to confirm the existence of a persistent high-velocity wind in PDS 456, at an outflow velocity of 0.25-0.30c. The spectral variability between 2007 and 2011 can be accounted for by variations in a partial covering absorber, increasing in covering fraction from the brighter 2007 observation to the hard and faint 2011 observation. Overall, the low-flux 2011 observation can be explained if PDS 456 is observed at relatively low inclination angles through a Compton-thick wind, originating from the accretion disk, which significantly attenuates the X-ray flux from the quasar. © 2014.
