This paper analyzes the evolution of the sugar cane plantation area in the State of São Paulo in the last ten years. It presents a concise report about the history of this raw material in the country and describes how the sector relating to sugar cane was before the economic deregulation and what changes occurred after 1990, emphasizing the territorially expansion occurred in the State of São Paulo. The paper concludes that the expansion of the sector relating to sugar cane occurred much more territorially than through productivity gains, considering that these ganis were bigger in the State of São Paulo, and that the economic deregulation left a legate of heterogeneity in this sector

Agressividade: a origem dos conflitos? : compreendendo o comportamento agressivo

As explosões de violência que assolam a sociedade humana são noticiadas diariamente pela mídia, e vivenciadas pelos indivíduos. As queixas sobre a disseminação da violência estão espalhadas como areia pelo vento. As manifestações de agressão podem ocorrer por diversos motivos: disputas por território, fama, “status”, para impor dominação, agressividade como forma de alerta, para atingir um objetivo sexual, um instrumento para humilhar e coagir o outro, entre outros tantos e variados motivos. As ciências que se ocupam do estudo das relações humanas abordam o tema, mas devido à complexidade e abrangência de suas manifestações, existem muito mais lacunas do que respostas. A agressividade e violência não são exclusivas da sociedade humana, mas graças ao desenvolvimento técnico-científico, para a humanidade a associação entre estas tendências e a capacidade destrutiva do homem, geralmente, são catastróficas, ameaçando não apenas sua própria espécie, mas tudo ao seu redor. É impossível negar a ancestralidade comum entre o homem e os grandes primatas, chimpanzés, orangotangos, gorilas e bonobos. Intrigante é o fato de encontrar ocorrências de atos violentos semelhantes aos humanos entre eles. Por exemplo, orangotangos cometem estupros, chimpanzés além de surras, atacam de modo mortal indivíduos da mesma espécie, e entre gorilas o infanticídio é um ato banal. Apenas os bonobos fogem deste legado violento, apresentando-se como sociedade pacífica, liderada por fêmeas, onde conflitos são resolvidos pelo ato sexual. Os chimpanzés são extremamente próximos aos humanos, compartilhando mais de 95% da bagagem genética. A diferença entre os chimpanzés e humanos é menor do que a existente entre eles e os gorilas. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar um estudo documental concernente às relações existentes entre Arte a Educação; partimos da hipótese de que a primeira consagra-se enquanto objeto de pesquisa concomitantemente a sua legitimação enquanto fonte meritória de conhecimento, principalmente no que se refere à produção material da existência humana e as intrínsecas relações político-sociais engendradas por princípios e valores econômicos. Logo, este ensaio foi edificado sobre o alicerce do legado literário de um dos maiores intelectuais do século XX reconhecido na contemporaneidade: o dramaturgo alemão Bertolt Brecht – cuja significância da produção artística se manifesta no exercício da compreensão e análise crítico-reflexiva da função social e educacional da Arte no âmago da sociedade de classes.

Vicentina Aranha de sanatório a parque: histórias e mudanças

This assignment intents to analyze the recover and the research of the cultural legacy identity of Vicentina Aranha Sanatorium to the inhabitants of the city of São José dos Campos-SP. That initiative becomes present through the importancy of the sanatorium to the public health of Vale do Paraíba in the decades between 30 and 70, of the 20th century. Nowadays this place refuges a park, presenting a reexamination of its space, with the possibility of the leisure practice, entertaining and tourism. The Vicentina Aranha Sanatorium Park presents itself conserving a landscape that is able of being inserted in a continuum past-present resignifying ways of appropriation and use. The word patrimony has many meanings and it‟s commonly associated to the set of goods that someone, the society or an entity owns. Transporting in a determinate territory, the patrimony starts to be a set of goods that are in its limits of administrative competency. (BARRETO, 2000). More than this, the cultural-historical patrimony guard a relation of belonging between it and the entity that has it. The Vicentina Aranha Sanatorium was inaugurated in 1924, with the project of the architect, Ramos de Azevedo, constituting an architectural ensemble placed under governmental trust as a historical and cultural patrimony of the state in 2001. It has a grove with centenary vegetal species like: MOGNO, PEROBA ROSA, JEQUITIBÁ and JACARANDA, constituting also a natural patrimony important for the city. There are projects like “Leitura no Bosque” and it‟s visited by the local population. Rio 2016: viva a paixão de ser atleta

Nesta pesquisa estudaremos o esporte com o foco sobre todo o processo de preparação das Olimpíadas Rio 2016. Analisaremos a mobilização popular e os aspectos que envolvem a adesão em um movimento que envolve todo o país, de modo geral, e a preparação da cidade sede, de modo específico, com as transformações realizadas tanto no âmbito social quanto estrutural. Cartografaremos as marcas do empenho do governo para investir na transformação dos valores sociais durante as Olimpíadas, bem como a apropriação do esporte com o objetivo de fabricar um legado. Identificaremos como as marcas da integração entre os povos e do sentimento de pertença dos cidadãos cooperam para os processos de subjetivação na sociedade contemporânea. Observaremos os efeitos de sentido ocorridos na divulgação do slogan Olímpico como uma forma de compreender o significado dessa Olimpíada em suas relações com a cultura. Partimos da hipótese de que a produção da “paixão de ser atleta” tem seu sentido ampliado para a sugestão massiva de estilos de vida. Assim, estabelecemos uma fronteira entre os “efeitos de sentidos” e os “efeitos de imagens” nos múltiplos usos do slogan olímpico. Na constituição do corpus de nossa pesquisa contemplaremos possíveis relações entre a preparação da Copa do Mundo e a preparação dos Jogos Olímpicos Rio 2016. Nosso estudo se situa no campo dos estudos sobre as relações entre o esporte e os processos de subjetivação na sociedade atual.

This article deals with the Park School, a proposal prepared by AnísioTeixeira to organize basic education in Brazil. This is a bibliographic study, anchored in texts produced by the author himself and researchers who are dedicated to their legacy. Records show that the proposed Park School was an experiment, bold and innovative, to arrange a policy for primary education in Brazil. Was expertly planned and stood out in the architectural and pedagogical aspects. Park School has shown that it is possible to provide a quality public education; political commitment and solid educational training are therefore fundamental.

Relacionamento amoroso: experiências afetivo-sexuais dos jovens na atualidade

Love experiences have changed along time and have set new meanings, especially for young people. Thus, this qualitative research aimed at understanding the meanings of love relationships, hooking up and dating in the vision of ten adolescents between 17 and 23 years old using a questionnaire. The results revealed that the hooking up is permeated by kisses, fondling and even by sexual intercourse in a short period of time and often through the intermediary of a friend at the time of the conquest. The commitment of dating, on the other hand, is established when love is present in the relationship. Therefore, adolescents revealed that opt for dating, which can begin in the hooking up. However, in the opinion of the participants, the young people's preference nowadays is the hooking up.

Cultura empresarial e reestruturação produtiva na indústria brasileira: o caso da Lupo S/A

Founded in 1921, the company currently known as Lupo S/A is one of the most ancient textile and clothing industries in Brazil. In this article we aim to describe the general lines of the trajectory of this family company, currently producing socks, nightwear and sports articles. The focus of this paper is on the analysis of some strategies used by the company along its formation and development process, and, particularly, the way these strategies made possible the productive restructuring associated to the overcoming of the strong crisis which began in the end of the 80's and early 90's, contributing to its recent consolidation in the clothing industry. The leading hypothesis of the study is that pioneering connected to a strong organizational culture that has been formed and constructed since its foundation and that was reestablished in a more recent management were the factors which were responsible for the advances able to generate an innovation environment in products as well as in processes and management. The theoretical reflection selected to subsidize the cognitive construction of the study of the company is based on the historical approach of the development of the textile industry in Brazil and in studies about the importance of the action of the entrepreneur, in the role of the organizational culture and of innovation to choose strategies in companies. The research involved the analysis of documents and data of the company, as well as interviews with directors and employees. The results show a traditional company model, but also show the presence of a very advanced entrepreneurial dynamic. Modern world – known as a fordist industrial model – could already be noticed in the company when this production pattern was not clearly defined yet in the Brazilian industry. Nowadays, the company faces the challenge of globalization and the open competition in the international market which brings the rivalry of the greatest and best globalized companies.

Os mortos de sobrecasaca e a formação do cânone literário nacional

Álvaro Lins (1912-1970), was an important literary critic of brazilian modernism that marked the twentieth century by the great influence of his writings. In 1963, he published Os Mortos de Sobrecasaca: obras, autores e problemas de literatura brasileira. Ensaios e estudos 1940-1960, that brings in the subtitle his concerns in building a balance on the modernist legacy to literature and culture in Brazil. This work makes possible a schematic view of the evolutionary process of literary production, because it indicates an exam about the twenty years of ripening of modernist proposals from a reflection that is organized as a history of Brazilian literature based on leading writers of the national literary canon.
