Educação física escolar: análise comportamental e implicações para o sedentarismo infantil

There have been many researchers dedicating themselves to analyze behavior to get solutions to social problems. The practice of childhood sedentary lifestyle is a complex problem that evokes a public health concern. This article exposes a work field in which researches identify, describe and analyze verbal reports about effective contingencies at school. It introduces the practices of three teachers of physical education and their 62 students. The results suggest that actions that can support public policies toward mitigating health risks.

Escala de atitudes sociais em relação à inclusão: versão específica para cada categoria de deficiência

An adequate understanding of social attitudes toward inclusion is part of the study of necessary conditions to the construction of an inclusive education. he aim of this study was to translate and atapt a simple scale used to measure social attitudes toward the inclusion of blind students. From the translation, it was developed a version for each of four disabilities categories: hearing disability, physical disability, intelectual disability and visual impairment. he 637 participants answered a version of this scale and one of the ELASI (Escala Likert de Atitudes Sociais em relação à Inclusão) forms. hese participants were students of several Special Education specialization courses given in the State of Paraná. Most of them were Basic Education teachers. he results indicated a high correlation between the form A ELASI scores and the scores of each of the speciic scale version. In form B there were no signiicant correlations found relating to the visual and hearing disabilities. Moreover, the scale was capable to identify diferences between the disabilities categories. More complete assessments and new studies are necessary to clarify the divergence found between the A and B forms of ELASI.

Programa de Atividade Física Adaptada com Uso de Vídeo Game: o que Pensam os Alunos?

Exergames are a new educational tool, and have been used by teachers in physical education classes because it is an activity that provides entertainment and caloric expenditure. The goal of this study was to verify the opinion of students in an elementary school class on a program of adapted physical activity using the videogame, developed during physical education classes. Study participants were students in a fourth-grade elementary school class that had a student with disability. The researcher and the Physical Education teacher elaborated the planning program of an adapted physical activity with the use of videogames. The classes were recorded in a log book and group interviews were conducted at the end of each class. The results showed that the classes were nice, fun and interesting experiences. The study concluded that the program was successful.

In 1997, the National Curriculum Parameters (BRASIL, 1997a) proposed the incorporation of the Transversal Themes in all of the knowledge areas. Specifically in the School Physical Education, the teacher working with transversality must stabilish bridges between the body culture practice with these themes. Promote this relationship is not a simple task and there are many problems that stuck the advance of this propose. So, thinking about making didactical formulat teaching stragies and think about the development of their practice. Another challenge is considerate as a beginning in the pedagogic activity the student’s knowledge and experience, as listening during the process of knowledge construction. In this way, the aim of this research is investigate the 8th and 9th grade of the primary school students conception about Cultural Plurality. After this, using the information taken gron the students, we are going to present subisidies to make a textbook, for the teachers and for students, with Physical Education activities possibilies with this Transversal Theme. Keeping in mind the aim of this research, we used the semi-structed interview as a instrument of data collection. The interview was made with 30 students of the 8th and 9th grade the primary school from two statual schools of Rio Claro city. The procediments were executed following the ethics comite requirements. In other to associate the Cultural Plurality with Physical Education, dance and physical adventure activities contents were selected. The results showed that the students know few thinks about this Transversal Themes, because they had apoor knowledge, according to National Curriculum Parameters. In scholar environment and Physical Education classes, there are many cases of prejudice and discrimination, mostly by the leack of ability. A indisciplina na sala de aula: um estudo de caso

Indiscipline has figured as one of the biggest problems and challenges of education both in schools and in academia. In this routing, this research aims to observe and describe disruptive behaviors from a survey of teachers' conceptions of the third year of elementary school about them. To this end, semi structured interviews were held with the teachers of regular education, arts and physical education in a state school in Bauru and later proceeded to the observation of students in the classroom. The collected data were subjected to a qualitative analysis and found out this work that teachers relate indiscipline to some pre determined behaviors and students, especially those appointed by the teachers as being undisciplined, actually have very similar behavior among themselves, and these can be completely understood in terms of age, level of psychological, affective and emotional development

Orientação sexual nas aulas de educação física escolar

Sexual Orientation is present in the school setting, due to human relationships among all belonging to this area. Being a cross-cutting theme, this theme pervades the Physical Education and allows discussions related to the gender, body and media, respect for diversity, disease prevention and other topics that the contents of body culture allow to deal. With observation and participation in the school context, through a stage of more than a year, we realized the need to address the issue of sexual orientation with students. In addition, there is a dearth of articles dealing with this topic, a factor that complicates and limits the search fields of material for the teacher preparing lessons and address the issue. Thus, this study aims to develop classes to subsidize the practice of teachers of physical education in relation to Sexual Orientation. The preparation of activities was carried out from a bibliographic review and experiences of the researchers, presenting new possibilities to teacher to treat this subject in classes of that discipline. The topics covered are intended to demystify some pre-concepts related to gender in bodily practices that are socially constructed. Also, presented a way to address STDs and teenage pregnancy, topics not found in academic magazines of the area used in this study. Treating Sexual Orientation in Physical Education classes may seem at first a tricky and of difficult data collection. The teacher must seek this knowledge so that it can address the issue with students in a transparent and really effective not being only informative classes meaningless or decontextualized thoughts

O futebol sobre a ótica do tema transversal trabalho e consumo

The cross-cutting themes, which are characteristic express concepts and values of citizenship and correspond to important and urgent issues to society, should be treated within the school context , for all disciplines . Just like football, specific content of physical education, which most often is approached only by the technical and tactical aspects. The aim of this study was to analyze football from the perspective of labor and consumption and to propose activities for teachers to this content and theme in physical education classes. We investigated, in particular, the influence brands, media and the effect of the globalization phenomenon in this sport, and later thematic activities. The methodology used was qualitative type, which is from a thick description of the details about the situation analyzed and evaluated. In the first step a literature survey was conducted to understand and analyze the topic of this work. In the second, the activities were prepared, with the teacher ways to treat football from the perspective of labor and consumption from the themes presented in the goal. The activities were directed to students in the 9th grade of elementary school. It is expected that with the study, football can be see addition to the procedural dimension in class and the teacher values the critical training, and labor relations and consumption Football and any other content of school physical education. Estados emocionais em professores recém-formados: análise contextual

In general, the early career is a period marked by crises. Hubermam (1992) points out that this period is considered by the teacher as one of life's most difficult professional teaching. According to Machado (2004), the physical education worked only in competitive perspective in school, does not contribute to the school to perform its social role. This approach encourages the use of stigmas, labels and prejudices, so common in school, that marginalize even more students from lower classes, and can make the sport of high performance within the school walls create students with low self-esteem and low motivation within other possible disorders . Thus, this study presents the fundamental importance to aid and support to novice teachers, so that they can understand, and address key emotional aspects that interfere in their practice. Thus, our aim was to identify the most recurrent emotional processes in novice teachers identify and also how these emotional states can influence the professional and personal attitudes of these teachers. Through a bibliographic we seek statements, reports and case studies that provide enough material to our analysis and interpretation in order to collaborate with the study area and proceed to proposals that are not unreasonable or tied to the current system. Among the emotional states reported in the literature, we highlight the main, more present and influent in the beginner teacher as listed as follow: Anxiety, Stress, Fear, Shame, Low Self Confidence and Motivation. Considering these states, Damasio (1996) reports that the United Emotional directly influenced the style and efficiency of cognitive processes, in other words, interfere with the performance of teachers in the teaching front. Livro didático e educação física escolar: interlocuções e entrelaçamentos

This study aimed to analyze the relationships – some already established and others that are still necessary – between the obligatory curriculum component Physical Education and the textbooks, understood as materials that assist both teachers and students during the teaching and learning process. In this way, we focused the discussion on some topics that have enabled a greater understanding of textbooks for Education in general and for School Physical Education more specifically, taking into account their specific characteristics. There were also some understandings about School Physical Education in Brazilian contemporary society as well as some official regiments about this curriculum component. Finally, it was elaborated some propositions that seek to generate interlacements to a deeper comprehension about textbooks in Physical Education classes. We concluded that although there are (few) textbooks in the area and some curriculum proposals from different Brazilian States that quest new ways of conceiving the teaching and learning process of School Physical Education, it is important to have more understandings about the roles of these materials in the pedagogical practice, as well as studies that can enable ways to treat this curricular component that could contribute to the critical and reflective educational practice during the years of schooling in Basic Education

A ginástica no ensino fundamental e médio na cidade de Rio Claro/SP: a perspectiva dos alunos

The Gymnastic as a manifestation of the Body Culture Movement should be part of the contents worked in scholar Physical Education, throughout the process of Basic teaching. However, according to studies conducted by researchers from academic Gymnastics school knowledge involving the gymnastics have been tentatively taught in school by numerous factors. For this, the objective of this research was to understand and analyze the opinion of students in middle and high school about gymnastics classes developed with the involvement of graduation scholarship holder and the coordination of the project Gymnastics Goes to School from the UNESP/Campus Rio Claro “Núcleos de Ensino”, in 2012. This research used a questionnaire with topics about the Gymnastic with options: Never Practiced, Like a Lot, Like, Am Indifferent, Dislike, Hate with a space for writing and drawing, relevant to the research objectives. The research was performed with 79 students in middle and high school. With data analysis, it was observed that the students identified themselves more with the Artistic Gymnastic, followed by Rhythmic and Acrobatic Gymnastic and, at last, the General Gymnastic, both through the questionnaire and trough the drawings, which goes against the results from the article published in 2010 by Pereira et al, entitled The students detest the contents gymnastic in physical education classes: motives and alternatives, where the students understand the gymnastics activities only as support, abdominal and stretching. Therefore, to have a real understanding of gymnastics in school, there is a need for teachers to explain and develop the contents gimmicks, so the students could understand the difference among Gymnastics activities and, at the same time, discovering the pleasures of this body practice

Reflexões e observações sobre as novas diretrizes curriculares e a sua influência na formação inicial do professor na universidade

With reference to curricular changes proposed by the CNE Resolution 1 /2002 and CNE 2/2002 on Teacher Education in Basic Education teaching degree - this study aims to analyze the new professional profile proposed in curriculum pedagogy , Physical Education , Science Biology , Mathematics , Physics and Geography . Within the curriculum guidelines was observed in a more normative articulated curriculum, focused on action-reflection- action. A guided design in practical rationality and the skills set without breaking the commitment of the public university with emancipation and quality education . Although there is this understanding we must also attend to the care that must be given to the new guidelines , based on the same reveal great concern with vocational training , with its instrumentation , with the pragmatic and utilitarian dimension of the training process .
