As concepções urbanísticas que impulsionaram o desenvolvimento do capitalismo e a reprodução da força de trabalho em São Paulo: sanear e excluir

This article aims to rank the main concepts in vogue in the city of São Paulo who contributed to the formulation of a shared urban oriented capitalist development and reproduction of the workforce. This way, it will discuss the main issues raised in the period, which is between the first decades of the XX Century to the end of the 1950s, trying to foresee how they worked as engineers and architects to incorporate the urbanistic proposals from Europe and the United States. And then, we will present, on the first four sections of this article, points of view that effectively impacted the paulista urban thought of the first half of the XX century: Sanitarism, pendular conception between the Mesologic Theory and the Microbian Theory; the Historicist formulation of Camillo Sitte; Howard´s garden-town and The French Experience. Our analyses were formulated having as a reference the broad systematization of bibliography and documents performed at the Arquivo Histórico Municipal (Intermediário) de Araraquara (Historical Municipal Archive from Araraquara), consultations at the the books of the library of the biblioteca da Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da USP (USP Architecture and Urbanism College) and at the Faculdade de Ciências e Letras da UNESP, Araraquara-SP( College of Sciences and Languages from UNESP, campus Araraquara). The analisys of the performed research show that one urbanistic torrent at São Paulo State with clear influences from the conceptions that led the urbanistic debates in the first half of the XX Century. Although these conceptions compose a painting of urban transformations at São Paulo city and noticeably in some inland cities, previously to the solidification of a whole proposition for the city that was later called of Directive Plan.

Estúdio na estrada

O presente trabalho visa apresentar o processo e resultados do projeto Estúdio na Estrada, concepção de produção musical, que tem como objetivo levar um estúdio móvel até o artista e realizar todas as atividades relacionadas com a gravação musical. O projeto também contempla os serviços de edição, mixagem e masterização musical, pelo programa ProTools 10. Todo o processo foi dividido em três etapas, de acordo com as cidades do interior paulista as quais o estúdio atuou: Santa Rosa de Viterbo, São Carlos e Ribeirão Preto. O Estúdio na Estrada foi idealizado com o propósito de fomentar o cenário musical do interior paulista e os artistas independentes

Fabricação e caracterização de diodo Schottky orgânico com arquitetura planar

Usually organic polymeric diodes are made with a semiconductor layer placed between two electrodes in a sandwich-like architecture, where the electrodes are deposited on the surfaces of a polymeric semiconductor film. This methodology leads to two main problems: i) the polymeric film top surface is rough and irregular, resulting in non-uniform electric field into the device; ii) during the deposition of metallic electrode in the top surface polymeric film, by thermal evaporation, occurs the diffusion of metal atoms into the polymeric film, changing the material electronic structure. Thus, the metal-semiconductor junction is not well defined, which is essential for the production of good quality Schottky diode, which exhibits ideality factor close to the unity and low turn-on voltage. In order to avoid these two problems, in the present research was proposed to manufacture an organic diode with the semiconductor polymeric layer deposited over bimetallic (gold and aluminum) interdigitated electrodes. The doping of the active layer was performed by immersing the device in hydrochloric acid solution with pH 2 during different times in order to promote different doping levels of the semiconductor polymer. Was verified that the proposed diode, which exhibits well-defined metal-semiconductor junction, operates as a Schottky diode, with good ideality factor, 10 ± 3, and low turn-on voltage, 1,2 ± 0,2 V, in comparison with conventional organic polymeric diodes. Contrasting with the ideality factor and turn-on voltage, the diode rectification ratio was obtained as 7, a value lower than the expected for a good organic diode. Was also showed that the diode characteristics were dependent on the semiconductor polymer doping level, and that the diode characteristics were optimized with doping promoted by immersion in the acid solution for times longer than 50 s. One of the actual biggest problems in big towns is the visual pollution. The advertising has become a necessity for any type of business, resulting in the use of as urban spaces as possible like fronts structures, lights, with too many colors and details to keep the attention of sight, thus becoming an important problem for the social and cultural coexistence. The work of graphic designer can reduce this problem through the concepts of visual identity applied on the enterprise building front, giving harmony in the colors and spaces where they can apply the advertising without to attack the urban beauty and esthetics.
