Reflexões sobre normalidade e desvio social

O texto expõe como se instituiu uma das oposições fundamentais na organização de nossa sociedade. A partir da reconstrução histórica do processo de normalização chegamos ao movimento sócio-científico da Eugenia e a poderosa teoria da hereditariedade sob o qual ela se assentava. A categoria social dos anormais é analisada como produto de discursos e práticas sociais, portanto, historicamente. Por fim, apresentamos algumas considerações sobre a polaridade normalidade e patologia na sociedade contemporânea e a persistência de teorias que visam naturalizar diferenças individuais e desigualdades sociais.

Espetáculo, festa, argumentação e organização: reflexões sobre os eventos como estratégia de comunicação em movimentos sociais

O papel dos eventos em movimentos sociais e sua importância como estratégia de comunicação sob a ótica das Relações Públicas é o tema principal desenvolvido nesse livro. Elaine Cristina Gomes de Moraes toma como base para sua análise a 5ª. Parada da Diversidade de Bauru, cidade do interior paulista, evento realizado em agosto de 2012 pela Associação da Diversidade de Bauru (ABD) e composto majoritariamente pelo movimento homossexual, mas também por outras minorias. Eventos têm papel fundamental no movimento homossexual e expressam seus ideais, reivindicações e identidade, na medida em que aglutinam publicamente pessoas com objetivos comuns. Ao mesmo tempo, tornam-se importantes meios de expressão do movimento por conta da repercussão proporcionada pelos meios de comunicação. Dessa forma, a autora propõe analisar os eventos como ações de comunicação, já que essas atividades são planejadas para a construção de uma imagem. E, também, constituídas como estratégica de comunicação, cujos objetivos são o avanço social e a proposta de transformação da realidade, na medida em que promovem a visibilidade e a legitimidade às lutas do movimento social. A autora destaca que o movimento homossexual começou suas articulações com a organização do primeiro grupo na década de 1970. Desde então diversos outros grupos, como os de lésbicas, transexuais e travestis se formaram, mudando a trajetória inicial. Às lutas que reivindicavam igualdade de direitos, somaram-se outras, como as que protestavam contra a violência aos homossexuais. Também nascem desse caldo as famosas paradas do Orgulho Gay. An axiological discussion is drawn from the analysis of the three codes of ethics in archives developed by the Association of Brazilian Archivists (AAB), the International Council on Archives (ICA) and the Society of American Archivists (SAA), presenting a framework of ethical values for the activities related to the organization and representation of knowledge, thus contributing to the theoretical framework underlying the social issues in Archival science.

A dimensão interdisciplinar da análise documental nos contextos brasileiro e espanhol no âmbito da organização do conhecimento

Information organization can be considered as a nuclear area in Information Science and its historical background has been historically built based on three theoretical approaches: subject cataloguing, under a North-American influence, Indexing, under a British influence, and document analysis, under a French influence. In this sense, although one can consider the strong influence of the logic-linguistic approach of the French tradition in information organization both in Brazil and in Spain, it is not already clear in what extent the mentioned influence specifically occurs in Brazil and Spain as well as what are the dialogical perspectives between them. So, and in order to analyze how the Information Science academic environments in Brazil and in Spain conceive the interdisciplinary relationships in the domain of document analysis (DA), it was applied a questionnaire to Brazilian and Spain DO researchers based on the records of the Brazilian and the Spanish International Society for Knowledge Organization chapters. The results (64,5% of answers in Brazil and 60,6% in Spain) allowed the identification of 35 DA interdisciplinary relationships in Brazil and 98 in Spain, whose data were so grouped in 7 matrixes ? cognitive, philosophical, historical, logic-lingusitic, quantitative, social and political, and technological. It was possible to observe that the logical-linguistic matrix is strongly predominant (90% of the answers in Brazil and in Spain) what reflects the influence of the ideas of Jean-Claude Gardin. On the other side, the graphic visualization of authors´s network showed a strong perspective of dialogical relationships among Brazilian and Spanish DA researchers, based on the convergence of theoretical conceptions, what allow us to conclude the need of joint research policies between both coountries in order to make the mention ed dialogical relationships real and fruitful.

A organização da informação hipertextual no artigo jornalístico: em busca das marcas ideológicas

Discusses some aspects of newspaper hypertextual article in order to find their ideological marks. Assumes that the choice of the element of contact with other texts (links), when producing an article reveals the author's ideology and the institution he represents. Intends to offer the less experienced reader of news, conditions to the development of more fruitful reading. Argues that reading is a process of interaction between reader and text and that requires the presence of an active reader, able to construct new meanings. Establishes as a general objective to identify the ideological marks presents in hypertext and its relation to the critical reading of the media. This theme is treated with special attention to its educational aspects, aiming at understanding the reality that educators must become familiar with, in order to turn more effective the processes of education for the media.

Valores culturais e organizacionais em transformação: estudo sobre o Programa de Intercâmbio Social da Aiesec

Many young people have chosen go on exchange experiences, expecting to live in a context full of diversity, to know elements in the country they are visiting and also to develop themselves personally and professionally. Organizational and cultural values can be acquired or developed through these professional exchange experiences. This paper aimed to understand the vision of young people who went on the social exchange of AIESEC related to cultural and organizational values in the experience. AIESEC is a global and nonprofit organization formed by university students, with the objective of peace and the fulfillment of the humankind needs. Thus, professional exchanges are the main tool for achieving this goal. The study analyzes the experiences of 15 exchange students as well as the point of view of five managers of the organization in order to gain a broad perspective in relation to exchange experiences to understand how young people understand the concept of culture. The interview results suggest that in labor relations, autonomy and egalitarianism are values that go together, while the harmony could be observed by the fact that the projects deal with the issue of sustainability. Furthermore, responsibility, tolerance and collective were the human values that the exchange students developed the most, indicating that experience enables openness to live the diversity and to the intercultural dialogue in order to value local cultures of the visited countries

A organização e seus relacionamentos: uma abordagem semiótica do conceito de público

The organizations now have felt some needs in regards to changes in attitudes in what refers to the relationship with their interest publics. In this way, this work has as objective approach different themes, like concepts of organizational culture and the interrelations with the profession of Public Relations, besides the contact with notions in the area of People Management and human capital. As all organizations are constituted by interest publics, it will also demonstrate theories that refer to the different kinds of publics which the organization maintains relationship with, although, giving special attention to the internal public, considered one of the main types of public. For better comprehension of the performance of the internal public it was used the greimassian narrative semiotics that allow an exploration and analysis os diverse procedures made by such public. Therefore, it was possible to observe a great contribution from the theory in what refers to the assertion of the importance in maintaining good relationships with the employees of an organization, specially to affirm the identity of the employee making use of factors such as culture, values, principals, norms etc. Thus, it is believed that the strategic communication must be used with the intention of proportioning personal and professional well being to the employees, in a way that they may feel more and more integrated and committed with the organization, granting, like so, the organizational development and recognition

Economia solidária e tecnologias sociais: mediação para a emancipação social de grupos autogestionários

The goal of this paper is to critically analyze the practices developed by Solidarity Economy and to merge them with social technologies, aiming to achieve social transformation of popular groups. This transformation consists in the empowerment of those groups in means of work organization, considering their self-management and also the development of techniques and technologies utilized. Based on the understanding that technical development has no neutral character and it follows linearity within society, a discussion around the forms and uses of technology is conducted here, aiming at the perspective of changes in technologies’ development and also assigning social character to them. To think of social technology requires us to consider the space in which it is inserted, once it refers to a collective demand that belongs to self-managed groups. Therefore, to intent beyond self-management work, new productive forces are discussed here, and also the analysis and adhesion of an alternative technology for popular cooperatives
