Along with the advance of technology, in terms of the expansion of medical exams that uses the ionizing radiation for diagnosis, there is also the concern about quality control for maintaining quality in radiographic imaging and for delivering low dose to the patient. Based on the Federal Order 453 of the Secretariat of Health Surveillance, which takes account of the practical and justification of individual medical exposures, the optimization of radiological protection, limitation of individual dose, and the prevention of accidents, were done through this paper radiodiagnostic tests on medical equipment in order to accept it or not, according to SVS-453. Along with the help and support of P&R Consulting and Medical Physics Marilia, SP, were made Quality Control and Radiometric Control in equipment from various cities across the state of So Paulo. The equipment discussed in this work is classified as conventional X-ray. According to the Federal Order SVS-453, the quality control in the program of quality assurance should include the following minimum set of constancy tests, with following minimum frequency: biennial tests for representative values of dose given to the patients of radiography and CT performed in the service; annual tests for accuracy of the indicator tube voltage (kVp), accuracy of exposure time, half-value layer, aligning the central axis of the beam of x-ray tube, performance (mGy / mA.min.m), linearity of the rate of kerma on air with the mAs, reproducibility of the kerma on air rates, reproducibility of the automatic exposure, focal spot size, integrity of accessories and clothing for individual protection; semiannually for collimation system accuracy; weekly for temperature processing system and sensitometry processing system. Este trabalho situa-se na discusso sobre escrita na universidade e investiga o processo de textualizao verbo-visual e extraverbal em contexto de Educao a Distncia (EaD) semipresencial. Com base no conceito de letramentos acadmicos, advindo dos Novos Estudos de Letramento, busca problematizar relao entre cor escolhida e imagem, no processo de produo do texto realizado por universitrios (professores em formao), num Curso de Pedagogia semipresencial de uma universidade pblica do Estado de So Paulo. Procura, assim, contribuir com os estudos da linguagem no que se refere ao estabelecimento de critrios para investigao da integrao entre semioses diversas na constituio de conceito de texto no restrito ao reconhecimento de sua base grfica.

Estudo sobre a importncia que a comunicao organizacional exerce no mbito das instituies privadas do ensino superior. Entende-se que a comunicao organizacional vem ganhando espao neste segmento e diferentes estudos contribuem para a compreenso sobre sua funo estratgica e integrada. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo de caso cujos resultados podero promover uma reflexo mais aprofundada sobre o tema. Percebeu-se que apesar da sua importncia, ainda necessrio que as IPES criem e incorporem uma poltica de comunicao organizacional sua gesto universitria.

This paper explores the contradictions between models conflicting today in Brazilian universities. The conglomeration of isolated institutions, integrated and multifunctional university and university-enterprise, service provider. This last model attempts to integrate higher education institutions to supply chains dominated by capital. Public universities were designed to provide innovative services and train staff researchers for such activity. The training of skilled workforce would be fundamentally task of private universities. But in any case, the onus would be on this training students. This model has been driven from the 1990s, with "instruction manuals" of the World Bank, and in 2000, with the IMF recommendations and, in the case of Latin American universities, Fundacin Universia, sponsored by the Santander Bank. The question remains: the university will be able to organize the productive forces which have around research goals and staff training for independent development.

The aim of this study was to adapt the BriefCOPE Inventory for Portuguese-speaking university students. We evaluate the Portuguese BriefCOPE psychometrics qualities and estimated the BriefCOPE factorial invariance in Brazil and Portugal. The data collected from a sample of 1573 students of both nationalities did confirm the 14-factor structure of the BriefCOPE and showed both factorial, convergent and discriminant related validities. However, the factor model did not show invariance across countries indicating that the use of the Portuguese version of the BriefCOPE cannot be bailed for comparisons of scores of inter-countries' student coping.

There are three distinct and complementary objectives The first objective is to present a short historical overview on the establishment of evening courses in Brazil (classes are held on weekdays, generally from 7:00 pm to 10:30 pm), including those in the higher education level, occurred on the middle of last century. The second objective is to demonstrate the growth of evening higher education, considering that in 1998, of the 2.1 million college enrollments, 55.3% were enrolled in evening courses; in 2010, twelve years later, of the 5.4 million students enrolled, there were 63.5% enrolled in evening courses. The third objective is to discuss current public policies to expand evening openings in public institutions which represent nowadays only 16.1% of the 3.4 million enrollments for evening classes. In the third objective it is included the discussion of programs for scholarships and tuition loans. The research results pointed to the importance of federal programs for scholarships and tuition loans for students from private institutions such as the 1,382,484 scholarships since 2004 (PROUNI Program) and the 847,000 tuition loans since 1999 (FIES Program). Important steps have been made by the Brazilian government. Considering that there are 3,987,424 enrollments in private institutions, the effectiveness of the programs for scholarships and tuition loans is still insufficient to meet the universal benefits for the students needs. Evening courses became the real instrument of social inclusion for many Brazilian youths and must be expanded quantitatively and qualitatively, with aggressive public policies, including also, scholarships and tuition loans.

The present study represents a qualitative thesis, characterized as a case study, which uses the method of the present approach. In addressing the academic home in physical education, there is the constancy of the discussions regarding the curriculum and professional formatting. In view of the curriculum modifications to fit the new legislation, and the fact they are few studies related to private institutions that offer such courses, which offer even greater number of courses when compared to public institutions aimed to investigate and analyze the professional profiles, curricular goals and flows contained in the pedagogical projects of courses bachelor degree in physical education and a private institution of higher education of the State of So Paulo, as well as verifying the existence and adequacy of articulation to the institutional educational project and the institutional development plan. Compounding the literature review discussed the key historical facts relating to courses in physical education in our country, and its path to the current model. Also presented was the law of physical education courses in force in Brazil and some concepts about teaching course projects and their relationship to other institutional documents. Techniques were used to review and document analysis, with primary source documents of their own and other government institution. It found a lack of interest of some private institutions of higher education in official documents available for this type of research, which is bad since there are more courses offered by them compared to public institutions. As for the degree course for training teachers of physical education, found lack of specificity regarding the differentiation between content and the bachelor, which ends up deviating from the expectations contained in the course to the one presented in the curriculum. Thus, it becomes a need for greater collaboration of private institutions of higher education...
