The aim of this work was evaluate introduction of byproducts of oleaginous in lambs feeding. Diets were composed for 30% of Tifton hay and 70% of concentrate based on corn grain, soybean meal, soybean cake, sunflower cake and peanut cake, limestone and mineral mixture, as dites: FS - control with soybean meal, TS - soybean cake as part of the concentrate, TG sunflower cake as part of the concentrate and TA - peanut cake as part of the concentrate. For performance evaluating 24 Santa Ines lambs with initial age and weight of 70 days and 19 +/- 2 kg, according to a completely randomized design. For digestive evaluate, weight Santa Ines sheep with initial age and weight of 70 days and 16 +/- 1.2 kg, adapted to the use of bag, for collect feces. Animals were distributed in a replicated 4 x 4 Latin Square and means were compared by Tukey's test with 5% significance level. By the performance trial, duration of confinement, weight gain, fed conversion and the dry matter intake were not affected (P>0,05), with averages of 54.29 days, 259 g/day, 4.29 kg of DM/kg and 1.32 kg/day, respectively. There were no difference P>0,05) for intake DM, OM, CP, CT and CE among diets, digestibility trial with averages of 76.23; 74.47; 76.44; 41.12; 73.00 and 93.00%, respectively. There were no differences for digestibility DM, OM, CP, ADF, CT and NCF. The partial substitution of the soybean meal for byproducts of oleaginous was a good proteic alternative in the feeding of lambs.

Two assays were accomplished being, both using a randomized block design: Assay 1 the aimed was to evaluate the blood parameters of weaned recently pigs and receiving rations with and without probiotic. Twenty pigs with body weight of 6.99 +/- 0.42 kg were used and were collected samples of blood to the 0, 7, 14, 21 and 28 days after wean, for determinations of the bool parameters. Assay 2 the objective was to determine the rations digestibility for growth swine supplemented or not with probiotic in the rations. The rations and the ages of the animals influenced most of the variables of the blood parameters. The probiotic didn't alter the ration digestibility to exception for mineral matter. It is ended that the blood parameters were altered for the use of the probiotic and the age of the animals, both emphasized to challenges happened after wean and the mineral matter was better taken advantage with the use of the probiotic.

The present study sought to identify which are the facilitators and restrictive in the creation and management of franchises from the point of view of process factors franchisees. For this, we first proposed to critically analyze its creation and management.The specific objectives of this work are: a) to understand in the light of the theory , the basic requirements for creating franchises b ) identify, from the literature review , facilitators and restrictive factors in the process of franchise management , c) develop a survey tool to critically analyze the processes of creating and managing a franchise from the point of view of the franchisee , and d ) to review the process of creating and managing franchises , from the perspective of four franchised food services in the municipalities of Ribeirão Preto and Sao Jose do Rio Preto - SP . A descriptive qualitative work, which found the most important features about the franchises, through a study of 4 franchises in the food industry of São Paulo was performed. To complete the survey was conducted a semi-structured interview, containing questions regarding the main elements of a business: creating, planning, organization, direction and control. It was found that franchising is a business model with controversies. There are people who deal well with the system and that through him realize dreams such as owning their own business. Others need to think many times before embarking in business since the entrepreneurship factor can be so intense that it hinders the acceptance of norms and duties to the system. This causes some factors such as communication, measurement of outcomes, implementation plan and among others are considered restrictive or facilitators in the process of strategy management of franchises

Os Isoptera são insetos sociais cujas colônias apresentam diversas castas, as quais têm um rígido sistema de divisão de trabalho que visa otimizar a eficiência da colônia. Estas castas apresentam morfologia específica, que capacita estes indivíduos a desenvolverem determinadas tarefas com eficiência. Os cupins apresentam aparelho bucal mastigador, constituído pelas seguintes peças bucais: labro, mandíbulas, maxilas, lábio, epifaringe e hipofaringe. Sua dieta alimentar é celulósica e bastante variada, sendo que estes insetos podem se alimentar de madeira (em vários estágios de decomposição), gramíneas, plantas herbáceas, serapilheira, fungos, líquens, partes de artrópodes e húmus. O estudo desse tipo de dieta é muito difícil, uma vez que o material já se encontra bastante decomposto antes de ser ingerido pelo animal. Cornitermes cumulans é uma espécie de cupim nativa do Cerrado brasileiro, pertencente à família Termitidae, subfamília Syntermitinae, que constrói ninhos em montículos, ricos em argila, que podem atingir até 4 metros de altura. Na parte interna dos ninhos, pode-se observar galerias grandes e de aspecto arredondado e um centro celulósico de coloração escura, de textura lisa e pouco resistente, onde os cupins armazenam um alimento, que parece ser previamente mastigado e depois regurgitado. Mesmo com a grande ocorrência desta espécie de cupim nas áreas de pastagens, seus verdadeiros hábitos alimentares são ainda pouco conhecidos. As informações disponíveis são contraditórias, uma vez que não está esclarecido a qual grupo funcional C. cumulans pertence e se existe realmente uma alimentação “in situ” desta espécie no campo. Em vista do exposto, este estudo teve como objetivo geral esclarecer o hábito alimentar de C. cumulans e a natureza química do alimento armazenado no ninho para compará-lo com o alimento coletado pelos... O teiú, Tupinambis merianae, é um lagarto Teiidae comum na América do Sul, e conhecido por apresentar um ciclo anual de atividade bastante marcante. Reprodução e forrageio ocorrem nos meses quentes do ano e, com o inicio dos meses mais frios, os animais param de se alimentar, escondem-se em tocas escavadas no solo e hibernam de 4-5 meses consecutivos, em temperaturas médias por volta de 17°C. Considerando que durante a dormência sazonal o teiú permanece por um longo período sem se alimentar e que o epitélio do intestino pode responder à ausência/presença de nutrientes luminais através de ajustes morfológicos e funcionais importantes, no presente trabalho nós analisamos as alterações histomorfológicas do intestino delgado do lagarto teiú, T. merianae, em função do jejum sazonal e não sazonal, bem como em resposta à ingestão do alimento. Para tanto, acompanhamos as alterações dos parâmetros estudados em três grupos experimentais: G1, animais amostrados logo após a saída da dormência e antes (i.e., após o jejum sazonal) e após a primeira alimentação pós-dormência; G2, antes e após a segunda alimentação pósdormência; e G3, grupo submetido a um jejum extra de 60 dias após o despertar da dormência. Foram analisados cortes de cada amostra de tecido, sendo que em cada corte foram realizadas as seguintes medidas morfométricas: altura de vilosidades, espessura da camada muscular, perímetro do intestino e contagem de células caliciformes por vilosidade. Nossos resultados indicam a ocorrência de uma atrofia da mucosa intestinal em resposta ao jejum suplementar (60 dias) e um aumento desta em resposta a alimentação (para todos os grupos). Houve também uma diminuição do perímetro intestinal com o jejum suplementar (60 dias) e uma diminuição do número de células caliciformes em animais em jejum. Solar energy can be considered the largest source of energy available on earth and has attracted in recent decades, attention and interest for its rational use. The use of energy sources in a sustainable way is essential to the survival of future generations, due to the scarcity of natural resources and their exploitation in a disorderly way. This academic work aims to bring a possible alternative to reduce the consumption of eletrical energy, at the University of Engineering – Campus of Guaratinguetá, through the use of a photovoltaic system interconnected to the LED bulbs. For this, the necessary data for the design of the photovoltaic system componentes and their acquisition costs were obtained and three differents configurations were developed to choose the one that bests fits the studied case, considering the return time of the initial investment (payback)

In the diets of monogastric bran has high protein content provided by a greater separation of soybean hulls. For the ruminant protein value of the meal is lower with the inclusion of soybean hulls to reduce the level of protein. With the increased consumption of meal high protein, due to increases in production of pigs and poultry in recent years, increasing the availability of soybean hulls on the market, this is because soybean hulls is little understood in the feeding of monogastric . In this context, the main objective of this study was to determine the times and temperatures needed to ensure the effective inactivation of ureasis present in the bran and soybean hulls. According to the assessments, to make the determination of temperatures and times required for the inactivation of ureasis present in the bran and soybean hulls are 170 º C and 25 minutes for soybean meal and 140 ° C 10 minutes for soybean hulls, respectively

The trimming and shoeing are of great significance in the performance and longevity of the athlete horse, and if not done or done incorrectly, cause a variety of limb injuries, which may make unusable the animal for sport, a fact of frequent occurrence, due to the small number of trained professionals in this area. The anatomy of the hoof and its functions should be maintained by maintaining the balance of the same (correct hoof trimming) and, if necessary, proper shoeing, all to avoid the hull balance alterations that lead to osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal disorders, chronic pain at the bead, synovitis, pedal osteitis, navicular disease, in addition to increase tension in the flexor tendons, suspensory ligament and proximal sesamoid causing tendinitis, desmitis and sesamoiditis proximal
