A competência em informação como fator crítico de sucesso para a pesquisa na área de ciência da informação: transferência de princípios para reflexão

This study is to provide parameters from theoretical and exploratory research in the creation and institutionalization of information science to establish a link with Information Literacy. Approaches are presented in which contributions allow us to understand the relationships and kinds of science in general and their applicability to the population studied, since these theories have a big relationship with the deepening of the area and their social, cultural and economic relationships. We hope to contribute with selective reference to assist the understanding of the issues arising from information science and the knowledge generated by its researchers. This requires developing new skills of access and use of information, providing an interaction between information literacy and knowledge building in Information Science.

Ecóico e nomeação de figuras em crianças com deficiência auditiva pré-lingual com implante coclear

The aim of this work was to verify the effect of teaching the echoic behavior over the pictures naming in four children between eight and nine years old with prelingual hearing impaired, users of cochlear implants. The design adopted was: (a) pre-training that taught the matching-to-sample task; (b) pre-tests that selected three words to teach; (c) teaching of auditory-visual conditional relations; (d) naming pos-test; (e) the teaching of echoic with orofacial clues and, (f) the second naming pos-test. In the pre-test all participants achieved smaller percentage of correct on naming (60%-80%) and echoic (20%-50%) when compared to percentages word recognition (86%-93%). All participants learned the auditory-visual relations. The improvement on naming test occurred after auditory training select based for two participants; for other two participants the improvement on naming test occurred just after the training of echoic. Analysis of data showed that the listening and speaking performances are independent in their establishment and require specific conditions of teaching; in the case of this study, even though the result is not generalized to all participants, the highest correspondence into point to point naming was obtained following the teaching of echoic.

Navegação autônoma em ambientes agrícolas utilizando visão estéreo

A visão estéreo é uma forma eficiente para navegação, pois com a estimativa de profundidade, é possível verificar se um caminho pré determinado pode ser utilizado para chegar ao destino definido, e ainda estimar durante qual profundidade esta mesma estimativa continuará sendo válida. As imagens capturadas por cada câmera são retificadas, de forma que as mesmas fiquem alinhadas horizontalmente, colaborando-se assim com o desempenho dos algoritmos de correspondência, responsáveis pela construção da matriz de disparidades. Com base nessa matriz, é criada a matriz de disparidade “V” para que seja possível mapear a informação de profundidade de cada objeto, os quais podem representar obstruções e anteparos na cena observada.

Interação entre a Escola Básica e a Pós-graduação: uma rede de Pequenos Grupos de Pesquisa (PGP)

Given the objective of the Educational Observatory Program of putting in conjunction the efforts of graduation and basic school in order to improve the quality of the latter, are sought possibilities offered by such an arrangement for teacher education. The assumed action research methodology is designed as a collective rethinking about the social practice in which participants were immersed. It is identified strong correlation among the school/graduation interaction and the nature of the underlying teacher education design. The constitution of research questions accomplished inside the school and the centrality of Small Research Groups in a broad network of interactions were determinants.
