O Professor e as Mil Maneiras de Fazer no Cotidiano Escolar

Este artigo discute as maneiras pelas quais os professores relacionam-se com discursos que propõem inovações para a docência. Partindo das considerações de Michel de Certeau acerca das práticas de consumo cultural, questiona-se o caráter “reacionário” geralmente atribuído às práticas pedagógicas docentes, em oposição ao teor “revolucionário” que costuma ser associado aos discursos acadêmico-educacionais. O tema é discutido a partir de dados reunidos no âmbito de uma investigação etnográfica que focalizou as práticas de leitura realizadas por professoras no interior de um programa de formação continuada. Os resultados daquele estudo ressaltam a existência de especificidades na cultura do magistério que se fazem presentes nas maneiras pelas quais os professores concebem a docência e a (re)inventam no cotidiano escolar. A consideração de tais aspectos possibilita identificar certos limites para a atuação da universidade na inovação das práticas pedagógicas e no movimento atualmente em curso de profissionalização do magistério. A universidade é desafiada, pois, a criar novas formas de relacionar-se com os professores e de atuar em seu desenvolvimento profissional.

Pedagogia, educação especial e educação inclusiva na UNESP: história e trajetória

This article addresses the historical constitution of Pedagogy undergraduate courses and their current proposal for teacher education and for the management of education systems. Another aspect discussed in the text is the constitution of the Pedagogy undergraduate courses at UNESP, the movement of each one, its specificities, relationship with the national trend, political aspects, and also the implications of the national guidelines for training in special education and the inclusive education approach in teacher education. Nowadays, UNESP has six Pedagogy undergraduate courses that are strongly consolidated and active in the Brazilian educational scenario in the area of teaching, research and extension education, and although UNESP has progressed towards conforming the national guidelines, each course has peculiarities in its pedagogical projects. As a result of this and of the history of the FFC in Marília, we found an organization that includes the perspective of an inclusive education.

Orientação quanto à queixa escolar relativa a adolescentes: especificidades

In this work present and discuss the specificities of the psychological care in Psychological Guidance to School Complaints (OQE) with adolescents, proposing theoretical and practical reflections resulted of intervention experiences in clinical practice. For this purpose we expose a conception of adolescence in which it is based and analyze the public schools' environment. We ponder on public policies of education for this population and the functioning of the school system that may be leading to difficulties in the education process. Further we present the specificities of the psychological care in OQE with adolescents: the educational incompetence stigma, the speech's and other language's role, the adolescent's authorship in the care process, life project's role, and specificities of an intervention in the school. Finally, we emphasize that this theme of educational difficulties faced by adolescents deserves further serious study and research in Educational and School Psychology. This may help to uncover the vicissitudes of this area and to improve the intervention proposals to that.

Fóruns online na formação crítico-reflexiva de professores de línguas estrangeiras: uma representação do pensamento crítico em fases na/pela linguagem

This paper describes an investigation into the initial training of foreign language teachers (German and English) and the internships required in the fourth year, considering the possibility that online forums may provide a virtual environment for the manifestation of critical thinking by future teachers. We analyze the messages and themes addressed in three forums, based on concepts of critical thinking and on the theoretical model of Practical Inquiry proposed by Garrison, Anderson and Archer (2000; 2001). For a better understanding of the phases in discussions on topics, we use the model of these authors, also identifying some discourse markers characterized by them, mainly based on the assumptions of Systemic Functional Linguistics (HALLIDAY, 1994) and on the types of conversational moves proposed by Eggins and Slade (1997). A new model was created based on the selected theoretical underpinnings and on the analysis of the data, as well as the conclusion was that online forums can be considered an important tool for the manifestation of teachers' critical thinking and for a critical reflexive education, in a context marked by the specificities of information society.

Avaliação de desempenho organizacional: um estudo aplicado em hospitais filantrópicos

An evaluation of organizational performance requires studies that encompass the specificities of the object under analysis, which is valid for health organizations. However, this type of organization has little support from Administration techniques and knowledge, thus generating deficiencies in management and control. As a result, the objective of this article is to develop a model for evaluating the specific performance of philanthropic hospitals and to compare the efficiency of those organizations. A theoretical model was createdand subsequently validated by specialists. A data envelopment analysis was conducted by means ofusing the data from 70 hospitals, collected in afield research. The conclusion is that there is no great availability of managerial information in Brazilian hospitals, and elements were pointed out for increasing sample efficiency.

Anticorpos naturais e infecção: anticorpos naturais na doença de Chagas e na paracoccidioidomicose

Using ELISA technique, natural antibodies against self and non self antigens were determined in 80 patients chronically intected by T. cruzi and 40 individuals suffering from a deep mycosis frequentely found in Latin Amarica (Paracoccidioidomycosis - PCM). Two forms of PCM were investigated: adult forms and juvenil type of disease. Eighty percent (80%) of the former group had significantly elevated anti-laminin antibody levels (M=4.7,SD±1.8) compared with healthy controls and different specificities of antibody were associated with anti-laminin in pathological sera. A notable binding to cytoskeletal proteins was observed, specially with band 3 and their peptides derivates, such as 62 kDa peptide. By means of Protein A chromatography we were able to show that natural anti-Gal antibodies may be bound by their Fab region to other immunoglobulins and/or to Protein A by alternative sites of binding. The finding of lgG anti-Gal antibodies in circulating immune complexes isolated from chagasic sera supported the first alternative. However, it is possible that some of lgG anti-Gal antibodies, belong to VH111 subgroup of immunoglobulins, that bind directly to Protein A. Among the 40 sera from PCM examined, the majority was considered as not exhibiting a signilicantly higher binding than normal sera to antigens tested. However thirty percent (30%) of the chronic patients had an increased levels of natural antibodies at least for one specificity such as actyn, myosin and Gala1,3Gal epitopes. ln juvenil type of PCM the mean value found for actyn was also increased 2,42 (range 1,0 to 5,3). Utilizing the polyethylene glicol precipitation the presence of circulating immune complexes was investigated in PCM sera. Uso de sistemas de comunicação suplementar e alternativa na Educação Infantil: percepção do professor

Augmentative and Alternative Communication Resources have proven to be helpful in the insertion of students with disabilities and complex communication needs into a variety of pedagogical activities and expand the skills and competencies of the teacher in the teaching-learning. The objective of this research was to identify the perception of teachers regarding the use of augmentative and alternative communication during an intervention program in Preschool. Participants were a special class of Preschool students with disabilities and severe communication complexity, along with their teacher and the researcher. For the development of this research, a Alternative Communication Program was applied. The teacher was provided with systematic guidance concerning language and communication. In a collaborative process, three children’s songs were selected according to the teacher’s pedagogical planning and adapted resources through Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems. During the intervention program, assisted evaluations also took place immediately after the activities with the music. The data were collected in audio recordings. For data analysis, content analysis was carried out resulting in the outlining of themes and subthemes. Results indicated that the teacher identified that Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems can to facilitate expression abilities of students with disabilities; that Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems can be used by children in Preschool; and that resources adapted through augmentative and alternative communication systems should be in accordance with the specificities of students.

O conhecimento profissional do catalogador de assunto sobre política de indexação em bibliotecas universitárias

Analyzes the professional knowledge of the subject cataloger about the role of indexing policy in the context of university libraries. Therefore, the study consists of a questionnaire and sociocognitive analysis of the professional knowledge of three subject catalogers of different university libraries in the state of São Paulo / Brazil, through the application of Verbal Protocol Group. The results indicate that the subject’s cataloging must be supported by current standards and guidelines that address the specificities of each informational context and guide the daily practice. We conclude that the lack of guidelines aimed at standardizing and/or theoretical and methodological parameter of subject cataloging process is one of the main points to be observed by the specialized literature in Information Science.
