Uso da entrevista em disserta����es e teses produzidas em um programa de p��s-gradua����o em educa����o

The interview has been a widely used procedure of research in humanities. Despite the frequent use, researches are not always supported in the literature on research methodology. The aim of this study was to analyze how the interview was used in dissertations and theses in a graduate Program in Education at a university in Sao Paulo state. This study examined 167 final papers developed in to period of five years. Variables focused were: justification for the use of interview, type of interview used, guide elaboration and adaptation, kind of analysis, among others. The results showed that it is still necessary to incorporate the contents of the research methodology underlying the use of the interview to achieve the scientific rigor for this procedure.

Mobili��rios adaptados para pessoas com paralisia cerebral: um levantamento das teses e disserta����es produzidas no Brasil

The Assistive Technology makes the lives of people without disabilities more practical, but for people with disabilities it can make things possible. For these individuals can provide the conditions, making their limitations are not obstacles to their social and personal empowerment, and may contribute to their effective participation in tasks that were previously impossible, such as remaining seated correctly. A segment on which the necessary assistive technology works, is the adaptation of furniture such as chairs, tables, chairs-to-wheels for individuals with disabilities, as well as cerebral palsy. The study aimed to conduct a survey and brief description of theses and dissertations produced in Brazil on furniture adapted for students with cerebral palsy. We made searching in databases of libraries of major universities and federal state national banks, theses and dissertations. Nine studies were selected for description. It was concluded that there is a considerable array of professionals, both in engineering as the field of rehabilitation, to contribute in the adaptation, creation and even the manufacture of furniture for children with cerebral palsy and that the securities most studied are the chairs and their components.

Estudo sobre a circulação de sementes e prop��gulos no assentamento rural XII de outubro, Mogi Mirim, SP

Atualmente, a grande variedade de plantas domesticadas est�� diminuindo com a dissemina����o da moderna agricultura comercial, caracterizada pelos seus cultivos geneticamente homog��neos com emprego maci��o de insumos. Em contraste, agricultores mais tradicionais procuram manter a heterogeneidade de seus campos cultivando muitas esp��cies e variedades, representando uma significativa import��ncia para a conserva����o do patrim��nio gen��tico das esp��cies agr��colas. Entre estes agricultores �� comum ocorrer a circulação das sementes e prop��gulos das variedades. Entretanto, muitos destes agricultores, mais tradicionais, migraram para assentamentos rurais, trazendo com eles uma grande diversidade de plantas. Desta forma, este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a din��mica de circulação de sementes e prop��gulos de plantas alimentares que ocorre entre as fam��lias do Assentamento Rural XII de Outubro em Moji Mirim - SP, a partir de uma amostra de agricultores oriundos de ��reas de agricultura de subsist��ncia. Tais agricultores foram localizados com base no estudo ���Semeando sementes, cultivando cultura: As plantas alimentares e a sua import��ncia para a vida dos agricultores do Assentamento XII de Outubro, Moji Mirim, SP��� realizado em 2005 pela mestranda Mirella Cultrera. No presente estudo foram realizadas visitas peri��dicas, nas quais entrevistas n��o estruturadas foram feitas para obter a hist��ria de vida, entrevista semi-estruturadas para obter as informa����es sobre a din��mica de circulação das sementes e prop��gulos, e, por fim, entrevistas estruturadas para adquirir os dados socioecon��micos. Neste trabalho foram levantadas no total 139 variedades de cultivos alimentares (55 esp��cies pertencentes a 28 fam��lias bot��nicas), sendo 54% delas oriundas de Minas Gerais. Circulação atmosf��rica e precipita����o pluviom��trica na Bacia do Itaja�� - SC: um estudo climatol��gico aplicado

The work is guided by the detailing of the Itaja�� river basin, SC, rainfall dynamics at the annual, seasonal and monthly levels, allowing us to identify different responses that each location gives to the regional atmospheric circulation, particularly the rainfall. In this sense, we are aiming at approaching the concept of rhythm, which must be obtained at the daily level. The analysis at different climate scales was possible through isohyetal maps, trend lines, and Schroeder pluviographs. Moreover, we established the flow rate of the air masses by means of the Venn diagram. This data made it possible to assess the behavior of rains on that site and the reason why it is the stage of major flooding, as occurred in November 2008. The relatively mountainous topography combined with the frequent invasions of the Atlantic Polar Front, which often stop over the region, generate events of that magnitude, with high volumes accumulated in short periods of time. Such extreme events reinforce the idea of the search for the succession of types of weather to the detriment of averages that tend to abstract the reality

Pluviosidade, circulação atmosf��rica e vaz��o h��drica na bacia do rio Itaja��, Santa Catarina, Brasil

This research sought to understand the temporal and spatial distribution of rainfall and its effect on water dynamics on a regional basis, taking into account the pace of climate paradigm. The study area covers the entire river basin of the Itajai and its surroundings understood, roughly, between parallels 26�� and 28�� south latitude and 48�� and 50�� 30' west longitude, place of constant heavy rains and floods. In this region, pluviometric and fluviometric data were obtained, the variables of rainfall and water flow, which were compiled and analyzed using spreadsheets in order to get the series with more homogeneous data as possible for good analysis, the period between 1953 and 1982. This historical period has passed in principle by an analysis which sought to highlight the variability and distribution of rainfall and water flow in the basin-level annual, techniques which were used that allowed the choice of standard year representative (rainy, dry , usual) series. These obtained years (1957, 1968 and 1971, respectively) underwent a detailed analysis on the monthly level, providing good interpretation of the dynamic behavior of rain associated with dynamic water flow for these representative years

Estudo urbano e ambiental da circulação urbana do bairro de Santo Amaro, cidade de S��o Paulo

This work is resulted of studies about the urban circulation in the modern cities. It was developed from two case studies: the city of S��o Paulo, specifically Santo Amaro's neighborhood and the city of Regensburg in Germany. The urban circulation of these places was analyzed starting from the premise that the daily of the inhabitants is a relevant factor to be considered. It was researched the types of transportation, the accessibility, and the clearance of public transportations. One of the main purposes of this work was to present general guidelines for the improvement urban circulation in the modern cities, as well as to supply didactic material that contribute to the reflection about urban circulation focusing priorly on the problems of traffic of driving force vehicles

S��ntese e estudo da diapocinina como um inibidor da NADPH Oxidase em neutr��filos e c��lulas mononucleares de sangue perif��rico

Apocynin, a methoxy-catechol originally extracted from the root of Picrorhiza kurroa, has been used as an inhibitor of the NADPH oxidase complex in phagocytic and nonphagocytic cells. Its mechanism of inhibition is linked to their prior activation through the action of peroxidases leading to oxidation of the dimeric product, diapocynin. In this study, dipocinina was synthesized and investigated its effect as an inhibitor of activation NADPH oxidase in neutrophils (PMN) and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC). The synthesis of diapocinina was performed by oxidation of apocinina by potassium persulphate in the midst of water for 5 minutes at room temperature. The precipitate was filtered and washed with water and methanol. Diapocinina was characterized by mass spectrometry. PMN and PBMC were obtained from peripheral blood of healthy donors and purified for gelatin sedimentation, or centrifugation with Histopaque ��, the red cells were lysed with ice water or ammonium chloride. Diapocinina or apocinina were incubated with opsonized zymosan, activation of PMNs and release of superoxide anion, these monitored by chemiluminescent assay dependent lucigenina. We found that diapocinina inhibitor was no better than the apocinina in PMN. However, diapocinina was more efficient than apocinina as an inhibitor of NADPH oxidase in PBMC. In conclusion, whereas PBMC are relatively poor compared with peroxidases PMN, our results are consistent with the need for oxidation apocinina for its effect as an inhibitor of NADPH oxidase

Alternativas sustent��veis para a circulação urbana ��� estudo de caso: as cidades de Guaratinguet�� e Lorena

La circulation urbaine dans les villes br��siliennes a ��t�� marqu��e par l'influence directe de l'automobile. Gr��ce aux possibilit��s d��coulant de l'automobile, les villes se d��veloppent de plus en plus d��sordonn��es et exigent la cr��ation de nouveaux moyens pour maintenir le flux du trafic. Cependant, la cr��ation de nouvelles routes est venu de collaborer avec les embouteillages, parce que plus les routes ont ��t�� construites, plus elles ont g��n��r�� le besoin de transport. La question du d��veloppement durable a commenc�� �� ��tre trait��s de 1987 et alors, les premi��res id��es pour r��soudre, entre autres, le probl��me de la circulation urbaine. Une des solutions sugg��r��es par les ��tudes est l'utilisation de transports non-motoris��s. Ainsi, le v��lo est devenu le grand pari pour un transport plus durable. Au Br��sil, le v��lo est largement utilis��, mais n'est pas consid��r�� comme un r��el moyen de transport, qui conduit �� de mauvais investissements et incitations. Par cons��quent, des mesures sont n��cessaires pour encourager le transport �� v��lo pour se obtenir, avec d'autres mesures, un transport plus durable. Enfin, l'��tude de cas dans deux villes, Guaratinguet�� et Lorena, montre l'influence de l'automobile dans la formation de ces deux villes, qui a fini par nuire les autres modes de transport qui auraient pu ��tre mieux utilis��s

Histologia comparada de br��nquias, f��gado e sangue em peixes da esp��cie Prochilodus lineatus, expostos a ��guas contaminadas

Os estudos hematol��gicos das diferentes esp��cies de peixes s��o de interesse ecol��gico e fisiol��gico, auxiliando na compreens��o da rela����o entre as caracter��sticas sangu��neas, a filogenia, a atividade f��sica, o h��bitat e a adaptabilidade dos peixes ao ambiente. No experimento realizado foram testados os efeitos de ��guas contaminadas em par��metros hematol��gicos de peixes da esp��cie Prochilodus lineatus, em per��odos de coleta de 7 e 20 dias, nos quais o sangue foi coletado com seringas heparinizadas, foram montadas l��minas de esfrega��o , as quais foram coradas pelo corante de Leishman. Estas l��minas foram analisadas e fotografadas com o aux��lio de um microsc��pio ��ptico Leica, no qual foram feitas contagens totais de c��lulas brancas e contagens diferenciais de tromb��citos e leuc��citos, para a an��lise estat��stica. O grupo exposto ao Lago Azul apresentou uma eleva����o no n��mero de leuc��citos e no total de c��lulas brancas, evidenciando que os contaminantes qu��micos do ambiente estavam atuando de forma semelhante a um ant��geno no corpo do animal fazendo com que suas c��lulas de defesa se proliferassem. Quanto ao grupo exposto ao detergente, observou-se que ap��s os vinte dias de experimento ocorreu uma diminui����o no n��mero de tromb��citos. Tais resultados evidenciam que a varia����o no n��mero de leuc��citos apresentou-se como um indicador de polui����o ambiental e que os detergentes biodegrad��veis podem em certo tempo de exposi����o ocasionar um d��ficit em fun����es vitais de peixes como �� coagula����o e a preven����o contra infec����es, eventos ligados diretamente com os tromb��citos. A maioria dos vertebrados aqu��ticos possui br��nquias, estruturas especializadas nas trocas gasosas e respons��veis por grande parte das trocas i��nicas.
