La música dels llacs

Els llacs i embassaments es comporten com oscil·ladors multi modals forçats pel vent. Els modes propers als de l'agent forçant són seleccionats d'entre tot l'espectre possible, com a modes d'oscil·lació de la massa d'aigua. En general els modes predominants són els modes baixos, és a dir els modes amb pocs nodes. Això passa especialment als llacs que es poden considerar formats per dues capes. No obstant, als embassaments mediterranis l'estratificació és quasi continua degut sobretot a l'extracció d'aigua i es poden aproximar per sistemes formats per moltes capes. En aquests casos l'espectre possible d'ones internes és fa molt més gran. Als embassaments de Sau i Béznar el vent té una periodicitat de 24 hores i força modes alts d'oscil·lació. Concretament, a l'embassament de Sau hi hem detectat modes amb 2 i 3 nodes verticals i 2 nodes horitzontals (V2H2 i V3H2) i a l'embassament de Béznar modes de fins a 5 nodes verticals i un node horitzontal (V5H1). Hem fet simulacions numèriques per veure l'estructura oscil·latòria en aquests modes de vibració

Aportació de les traduccions rosselloneses del segle XIX a la construcció del sistema lingüísticoliterari catalÃ

Les traduccions catalanes impreses al Rosselló en el segle XIX són cinc; totes de temàtica religiosa. Rafael Crusat traduí la Novena al glorios patriarca Sant Josep, Digne Espos de la Sempre Verge Maria (1711) reimpresa al segle XIX; Pere Marcè i Sentaló traduí Los set salms penitencials en versos catalans segons lo sentit literal (1802); d'autor desconegut són el Compendi del catecisme al us de totas las iglesias del imperi francès (1807) i els Cantichs catalans, traduits dels cantichs de Sant Sulpici (1826); Joan Miquel Aymar traduí­ la Carta apostolica de N.S. Pare Pio per la providencia divina papa sobre la definicio dogmatica de la immaculada concepció (1889). Aquestes traduccions es justifiquen per la necessitat comunicativa del català  a la diòcesi d'Elna Perpinyà : els catecismes, les pregàries, els cants i les novenes s'hi feien en català . Ara bé, aquestes traduccions apareixen en un moment en què la llengua catalana roman abandonada a l'oralitat familiar i és precisament arran d'això que tenen un gran mèrit en la construcció de la nostra llengua nacional a la Catalunya Nord. En el segle XIX, el del triomf de la "catalanada", quan el país s'hagués pogut decantar cap al secessionisme lingüístic, tot entronitzant el parlar rossellonès com a llengua local, els traductors d'obres religioses utilitzen una ortografia etimològica i una varietat de llengua supradialectal.

La Amazonia brasileña durante la primera mitad del siglo XIX estuvo marcada por una extraordinaria inestabilidad político-militar. Su adhesión tardía a la independencia de Brasil (1823), el debate sobre la esclavitud y la explosión de la Cabanagem fueron procesos que tuvieron como protagonistas no sólo a las elites políticas lusobrasileñas, sino también a diferentes grupos cimarrones e indígenas que actuaban desde amplios e intrincados espacios de frontera, atentos a las ideas revolucionarias que provenían del exterior y que jugaron un papel fundamental en la construcción de la especificidad del norte de Brasil.
