La distinción entre argumentación y explicación es una tarea complicada pero necesaria por diversas razones. Una de ellas es la necesidad de incorporar la explicación en un movimiento del diálogo como resultado de una obligación dialéctica. Se propusieron distintos sistemas de diálogo que exploran la distinción enfatizando aspectos pragmáticos. En el presente trabajo me ocupo de aspectos estructurales de la explicación analizados en el marco de la lógica por defecto que permite caracterizar ciertas objeciones en el diálogo. Asimismo, considero que la versión operacional de la lógica por defecto constituye una aproximaciónadecuada en la construcción de la explicación y en la representación de la instancia de diálogo en el intercambio dialéctico

This feature-length experimental film is the result of an intimate collaboration between Bosnian filmmaker/poet/painter/musician/performace artist Saidin Salkic (On Karasevdah: Srebrenica Blues, 2007 & Konvent 2010) and veteran Australian experimental filmmaker and film educator John Cumming (Obsession, Recognition & Sabotage 1985-87, First time Tragedy Second Tome Farce, 1989, The Hollow Centre 1999). Created over a period of four years it draws on the traditions and possibilities of improvisation – in cinematography, experimental cinema, dance, music and performance – with moments of intensity and repose, fluidity and halting re-composure. Cumming’s camera and Salkic’s movement work in front of it are at once expressionistic and in dialectical tension as are Salkic’s poetry, his haunting improvisations on piano and melodica and Cumming’s industrial soundscapes. SYNOPSIS: In the midst of fascist-capitalist madness, the Foreigner (a poet/dancer with sun on his palms and blood from his dreams on his face) hovers in neon twilight with last whispers of sanity on his lips, guarding and protecting the world – forever. Although the fact that Merleau-Ponty has a dialectical approach in Phenomenology of Perception has been discussed in recent Anglophone readings, there has not been an explicit clarification as to how his varying usages of the term hang together. Given his repeated references to Hegel and to dialectics, coupled with the fact that dialectics are not part of the Husserlian phenomenology or Heideggerean existentialism from which Merleau-Ponty draws so much, the question of just what he does with the idea of dialectics presents itself. In this paper I argue that, in Phenomenology of Perception, Merleau-Ponty saw Hegel as providing a model for the conception of rationality and meaning that must underpin the existentialist response to the problems bequeathed him by Husserlian phenomenology: namely, the problems of embodiment, perception and the constitution of the world. In connection with this, I suggest an interpretation of Merleau-Ponty's “existential dialectics” that focuses on his three principal uses of the term: 1) a “dialectic of objective thought,” 2) a set of existential-dialectical categories intended to capture the ontological structure of the “body-subject” as “being-in-the-world,” and 3) a dialectic at the cultural level concerning others and history.

This thesis concerns the analysis of the socio-economic transformation of communities in Bronze Age southwestern Cyprus. Through the adoption of a dialectical perspective of analysis, individuals and environment are considered part of the same unity: they are cooperating agents in shaping society and culture. The Bronze Age is a period of intense transformation in the organization of local communities, made of a continuous renegotiation of the socio-economic roles and interactions. The archaeological record from this portion of the island allows one to go beyond the investigation of the complex and articulated transition from the EBA-MBA agro-pastoral and self-sufficient communities to the LBA centralized and trade-oriented urban-centres. Through a shifting of analytical scales, the emerging picture suggests major transformations in the individual-community-territory dialectical relations. A profound change in the materials conditions of social life, as well as in the superstructural realm, was particularly entailed by the dissolution of the relation to the earth, due to the emergence of new forms of land exploitation/ownership and to the shift of the settlement pattern in previously unknown areas. One of the key points of this thesis is the methodological challenge of working with legacy survey data as I re-analysed a diverse archaeological legacy, which is the result of more than fifty years of survey projects, rescue and research-oriented excavations, as well as casual discoveries. Source critique and data evaluation are essential requirements in an integrative and cross-disciplinary regional perspective, in the comprehensive processing of heterogeneous archaeological and environmental datasets. Through the estimation of data precision and certainty, I developed an effective - but simple - method to critically evaluate existing datasets and to inter-correlate them without losing their original complexity. This powerful method for data integration can be applied to similar datasets belonging to other regions and other periods as it originates from the evaluation of larger methodological and theoretical issues that are not limited to my spatial and temporal focus. As I argue in this thesis, diverse archaeological legacies can be efficiently re-analysed through an integrative and regional methodology. The adoption of a regional scale of analysis can provide an excellent perspective on the complexity of transformations in ancient societies, thus creating a fundamental bridge between the local stories and grand landscape narratives.

Este trabajo es una revisión de literatura que abarca una selección de artículos disponibles en bases de datos especializadas y publicados en el periodo comprendido entre los años 2006 a 2016 para artículos científicos y entre los años 2000 a 2016 para libros. En total se revisaron: 1 tesis doctoral, 1 tesis magistral, 111 artículos y 9 libros o capítulos de libros. Se presentan diversas definiciones de mindfulness y formas de conceptualizarla, sus mecanismos de acción, sus enfoques psicoterapéuticos predominantes, los efectos de su práctica estable, sus principales campos de acción y la importancia de la formación de los docentes que imparten la práctica. Finalmente se presentan algunas conclusiones acerca del diálogo entre la literatura psicológica sobre mindfulness y algunas de las concepciones de la tradición budista en torno a la meditación.

Nesta dissertação, é estudado o Falar de Marvão, um concelho de raia, do Alto Alentejo, com baixa densidade demográfica, população muito envelhecida e uma taxa de analfabetismo acima da média nacional e regional. O presente estudo é composto por cinco capítulos. Nos dois primeiros, são apresentados os estudos dialectológicos realizados no distrito de Portalegre e é caracterizado o concelho de Marvão. O estudo do falar desenrola-se ao longo dos três capítulos principais, dedicados aos aspectos fonético-fonológicos e morfo-sintácticos, bem como ao léxico relacionado com o Homem. O Falar de Marvão está integrado nos dialectos portugueses centro-meridionais, mais especificamente na variedade da Beira Baixa e Alto Alentejo. Assim, apresenta a maior parte das características identificadas pelos linguistas do século XX sobre esta região dialectal, demarcando-se, contudo, por algumas particularidades que o distinguem dos falares dos concelhos circundantes, essencialmente ao nível de alguns aspectos fonético-fonológicos e do léxico. /ABSTRACT: ln this dissertation is presented a study on The Marvão 's Dialect, a bordering district from Alto Alentejo, with a low demographic density, very old population and a rate of illiteracy above the national and regional average. This study is composed by five chapters. ln the two first chapters, are presented the dialectological studies, which took place in the district of Portalegre, and there is also characterized the district of Marvão. The study of the dialect is developed along the three main chapters, which are dedicated to the phonetic, phonologic, morphologic and syntactic aspects, as well as the lexicon related to the human being. The Marvão 's dialect is integrated in the centre-meridional portuguese dialects, specifically in the Beira Baixa and Alto Alentejo’s diversity, presenting the main characteristics identified in this dialectical region by the linguists of the XX century. However, it distinguishes itself by some particularities, which differentiate it from the dialects spoken in the surrounding districts, mainly on the level of some phonetic and phonologic aspects and the lexicon.

In this article I present the main points of Slavoc Zizek´s interpretation of Hegel´s philosophy. Three basic lines of thought are discussed: the relations between the Hegelian philosophy and Lacan´s psychoanalysis, the dialectical thinking, and the answers dialectical thinking presents against objections raised by post-structuralistic critiques of Hegel.

En este articulo se estudia la categoría del espacio como una instancia, un elemento estructural de la totalidad social, en donde ocurre un proceso social específico. Mediante la introducción de la instancia espacial, en el análisis marxista clásico, junto a la instancia económica, jurídica, política e ideológica, se tratara de avanzar en esta corriente de pensamiento científico. Existe una relación dialéctica entre las relaciones sociales y las relaciones espaciales, esta relación le permite una autonomía a la instancia espacial. La producción del espacio desde los inicios, mediante la relación hombre-naturaleza, hasta su forma más evolucionada, la ciudad, se realiza mediante la intervención del hombre con acciones individuales, colectivas y acciones estatales. Al mismo tiempo el espacio es construido, destruido y reconstruido, en esta acción la clase dominante lleva la iniciativa y contribuye a la producción del espacio de acuerdo con sus intereses. SUMMARY In this article the category of the space is studied as an instance, a structural element of the social totality, where there happens a social specific process. By means of the introduction of the spatial instance, in the Marxist classic analysis, close to the economic, juridical, political and ideological instance, it was a question of advancing in this current of scientific thought. A dialectical relation exists between the social relations and the spatial relations; this relation allows him autonomy the spatial instance. From its beginnings, by means of a man - nature relationship, up to its most revolutionized form, the city; the spatial production is a accomplished by means of the intervention of the man with individual, collective actions and state actions. At the same time the space it is constructed, destroyed and reconstructed, in this action the dominant class takes the initiative and contributes to the production of the space of accordance with its interests.   RESUME cet article on étudie la catégorie de l'espace comme une instance, un élément structurel de la totalité sociale, où un processus spécifique. Grâce à l'introduction de l'space comme instance, de l'analyse marxiste classique, au même titre que     l’économique, juridique, politique et idéologique, on essaye faire progresser ce courant de pensée scientifique. On propose l’existence d’ une relation dialectique entre les relations sociales et les relations spatiales, ce qui permet une autonomie à l'instance spatiale. La production del espace, les origines, se fait selon la relation un homme – nature. Ceci continue jusqu'à sa forme la plus sophistiquée: la ville. Elle  se réalise par l'intervention de l'homme par des actions individuelles, collectives et des actions étatiques. Durant ce temps l'espace est construit, détruit et reconstruit, mais c’est toujours classe dominante qui impose les initiatives et finalement ses intérêts.
