A publicidade na canção: diversão como sedução de solução

This article intends to cause reflection on the advertisement strategy applied by Fernanda Abreu (FA) in order to understand the song “Disco Club 2 (Melo Radical)” from the album SLA radical dance disco club by FA. The composition seduces the subjects involved in the song process to listen to it somehow. The analysis is based on chronotopy, conception developed by the Bakhtin, Medvedev and Volochinov Circle. The idea carried by the song is a meeting at night at a funk club where FA is with other people. Therefore, the song becomes its own advertisement as a product of consumerism.

A notícia cômica: um novo formato de construir a opinião pública

This paper focuses on the discussion of journalistic genres, more specifically on the comic journalism, in other words, when using humor as a tool to transmit information. Supported by the definitions proposed by José Marques de Melo (2003), based on the theories of journalism presented by Nelson Traquina (2005) and Felipe Pena (2005) and relying on the teachings of Jorge Halperín (2008) and Rafael Yanes (2004) about interview techniques, this research aimed to analyze the humor as a legitimate resource and collaborator in journalism performance. For this, we analyzed, in detail, six different frames of interviews of program The Noite with Danilo Gentili, which is broadcasted from Monday to Friday by the Brazilian Television System, SBT. In this analysis, we considered the contente of interviews, the technique and the resources used by the presenter and his team, the journalistic relevance of topics and guests and the reach of the general public to information

Do nobre ao patético: o herói de Victor Hugo e o anti-herói de Machado de Assis

This article analyses how Victor Hugo embodied his heroes and Machado de Assis his anti-heroes. Three Assis´s short stories and three Hugo´s novels are compared: “O caso da Vara” and the chapter “L‟affaire Champmathieu” from the book Les Misérables; “Noite de Almirante” and Les Travailleurs de la Mer; “Um incêndio” and Quatre-Vingt-Treize. These texts present similar situations, but each author shows an outcome that reveals their literary proposal. For this reason, Comparative Literature and Intertext had been used as base of reflection for this article.

Diel Variation in Abundance and Size of the South American Red Shrimp Pleoticus Muelleri (Spence Bate, 1888) (Decapoda, Solenoceridae) in the Ubatuba Region, Southeastern Brazil

Diel variation in the abundance and size of Pleoticus muelleri in the Ubatuba region was investigated during 2000. During each season of the year, sampling was conducted during the day and at night at 8 depths, from 5 to 40 m. The estimated number of shrimp was 955 individuals, 272 collected during the day and 683 at night. There was a difference in the abundance of P. muelleri between day and night (χ², p=2.33E-40). The abundance during the day and at night differed by season with the exception of the spring (χ², p=0.06). The abundance during both periods also differed by depth, except at 15 and 30 m, where it was not significant (χ², p=0.84 and 0.06, respectively). The shrimp caught at night were generally smaller than those caught during the day (Kolmogorov-Smirnov, p<0.01). Pleoticus muelleri juveniles were found primarily at night. This tendency could have influenced the lower mean size for this period. The sediment type and the bottom temperature appear to influence the behavior of this species and consequently the catch rate during the periods analyzed.

Patente de modelo de utilidade para uma cadeira antropométrica constituída de uma estrutura (1) que sustenta uma pluralidade de instrumentos de medição, sendo que a parte posterior da cadeira é provida de dois instrumentos de medição compostos por duas hastes, sendo uma delas para medida da altura tronco-encefálica (2) e a outra para a medida do assento até a região renal (4), de modo que cada uma dessas hastes possui uma escala numérica, sendo ora interna (3), ora externa (5). O assento (6) da cadeira (1) é composto por um anteparo com uma canaleta interna e dois cursores laterais deslizantes para a direita e para a esquerda, que possuem escala numérica.; O assento é provido de referências métricas sendo uma no sentido da largura do assento (8) e outra no sentido da profundidade do assento (9), sendo a escala (8) dividida em duas escalas, onde o ponto zero é exatamente o meio do assento. O assento (6) também possui acoplada uma haste frontal, com deslizamento no sentido antero-posterior (10), a qual contém uma escala interna embutida na peça, de modo que a soma entre a medida da profundidade do assento com a medida obtida pela haste deslizante horizontal (10) totalizam a medida sacro-poplítea. Para a tomada da medida da altura poplítea, há uma outra haste (11), integrada à superfície anterior da cadeira, cujo deslizamento é vertical, sendo que essa haste (11) possui uma escala numérica interna uma externa (12).; A base da cadeira (13) possui um dispositivo de acionamento lateral com o pé (16), que é conectado ao assento (6) por meio de um macaco hidráulico, permitindo a elevação do assento, sendo que a outra alavanca (17), ao ser girada, realiza a descida do assento (6).

Histochemistry profile of the biceps brachii muscle fibres of capuchin monkeys (Cebus apella, Linnaeus, 1758)

A general analysis of the behaviour of "Cebus" shows that when this primate moves position to feed or perform another activity, it presents different ways of locomotion. This information shows that the brachial biceps muscle of this animal is frequently used in their locomotion activities, but it should also be remembered that this muscle is also used for other development activities like hiding, searching for objects, searching out in the woods, and digging in the soil. Considering the above, it was decided to research the histoenzimologic characteristics of the brachial biceps muscle to observe whether it is better adpted to postural or phasic function. To that end, samples were taken from the superficial and deep regions, the inserts proximal (medial and lateral) and distal brachial biceps six capuchin monkeys male and adult, which were subjected to the reactions of m-ATPase, NADH-Tr. Based on the results of these reactions fibres were classified as in Fast Twitch Glycolitic (FG), Fast Twitch Oxidative Glycolitic (FOG) and Slow Twitc (SO). In general, the results, considering the muscle as a whole, show a trend of frequency FOG>FG>SO. The data on the frequency were studied on three superficial regions FOG=FG>SO; the deep regions of the inserts proximal FOG=FG=SO and inserting the distal FOG>FG=SO. In conclusion, the biceps brachii of the capuchin monkey is well adapted for both postural and phasic activities.

Acupuncture as therapeutic resource in patient with bruxism

Bruxism is the harmful habit of clenching or grinding the teeth during the day and / or night, with unconscious pattern, with particular intensity and frequency, outside the functional movements of chewing and swallowing. It is accepted that bruxism is a response controlled by the neurotransmitters dopamine system associated with emotional component. The proposed of treatment of bruxism with acupuncture aims to stimulate sensory fibers of the peripheral nervous system leading to electrical transmission by neurons sufficient to produce changes in the central nervous system. As a consequence there is the release of substances (cortisol, endorphins, dopamine, noradrenaline and serotonin) that promote wellness and restoration of harmony, be it psychological, biological and / or behavioral.

Observatório do esporte: uma visão crítica da mídia esportiva

O projeto “Observatório do Esporte” é um programa radiofônico que desde 2010 é veiculado pela Rádio UNESP FM, na madrugada da sexta para o sábado à meia-noite com reprises aos sábados às 11 horas da manhã, onde por meio da estratégia do infotretenimento são discutidos assuntos diversos do cotidiano esportivo com uma análise mais aprofundada, principalmente da mídia esportiva. Com uma abordagem de avaliação multi-metodológica, o projeto busca articular extensão e profissionalização em jornalismo e radialismo esportivo para que o ensino-aprendizado dos alunos e bolsistas dos cursos de graduação e pós-graduação de Comunicação Social da FAAC – Faculdade de Arquitetura, Artes e Comunicação da Unesp Bauru ocorra de modo atualizado , dinâmico e ligado à pesquisa empírica em Comunicação.
