As políticas educacionais do Brasil: a (in)visibilidade da sexualidade e das relações de gênero

The present study, theoretical, aims to talk about educational policies in Brazil, aiming to unveil what they say these policies, the legitimacy and visibility that give coverage of sexuality in schools. Both sexuality and gender relations have gained attention in a Brazilian educational research in the mid-90th century. These policies have been the National Curricular Parameters (PCN). They present the cross-cutting themes: ethics, health, environment, cultural diversity and sexual orientation, which should be integrated into conventional areas of the school said. Another document of this same decade of education is the National Education Plan (PNE), however this encompasses so hidden sexuality and gender relations. In fact, both the new Law of Directives and Bases (LDB), the PNE in these subjects are veiled. An interesting initiative is happening in Brazil is the project Gender and Sexual Diversity (GDE) for the training of professionals in education issues of gender, sexuality and sexual orientation and ethnic-racial relations, is entering the national perspective of implementation public policy of equality and respect for diversity. However, much remains to be done thinking about the effectiveness of public policies that are effective with respect to space and visibility for the treatment of sexuality. We must also articulate the integration of these themes in these policies, strategies to raise awareness of education professionals in order to secure that they are actually implemented.

A temática afro brasileira no contexto da Educação Física escolar

The choice Brazilian african study theme in the general education, and particularly in physical education has not advanced as to be themed with the subject matter. Even open to this issue, in 2003 a law was passed introducing an obligation of racial ethnic correlations in Brazil. Law 10.639, changed the LDB (Guidelines and Framework Act, 1996) and establishing the obligation both in elementary school as high school, public and private, the teaching of history and African Culture and African Brazilian. As the main objective of disseminating the importance of valuing the African culture and its legacy, expanding the looks and the knowledge about the culture and history of a people who often are discriminated against and excluded by society. The questions that arise are the following: The physical education teacher know that prerogative? Incorporates the Brazilian african discussion in their classes? Discusses with students these subjects related to corporal practices? Have difficulty in dealing with this issue? What? Thus the aim of this study was to detect whether and how a group of physical education teachers is the Brazilian african theme in their classes, for the fulfillment of the Law 10.639 / 03. The methodology of this study was qualitative descriptive type. Were used for data collection semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation. The data obtained through interviews with teachers were transcribed, reviewed and classified according to the content analysis. Multiculturalismo, diversidade cultural e cotidiano escolar: uma análise da temática em filmes de escola

This work has as its theme the multiculturalism, cultural diversity and their reflections in school everyday, more specifically on the interactions between the various subjects and social groups that make up a school and the teacher as mediator of the relationship between these guys. The theme Multiculturalism refers in the first instance, to the theoretical movement beginning in the mid-20th century in the United States and that spreads in the Western world as a way of tackling the conflicts generated depending on the economic issues, policies, and, in particular, cultural-ethnic, in an attempt to combat discrimination and prejudice, given the difficulties of individuals and groups to welcome and socialize with the plurality and cultural differences (SILVA; BRANDIM, 2008).At the same time, multiculturalism refers to cultural studies, through the Centre for Contemporary cultural studies, founded by em1964 Hoggart, and connected to the English language Department of the University of Birmingham in England.In contemporary times, due to the phenomenon of globalization and public policy to challenge prejudice and discrimination the subjects and social groups, regardless of color, creed, ethnicity, sexual orientation and nationality, this theme has been recurring in order to recognize plural identities and ensure and directly affects the school as a place of cultural diversity and conflicts generated by the very diversity.The present work aims to analyze and understand how the issue of multiculturalism and cultural diversity in school films. Our study will be based theoretically in Cultural Studies authors and uses the qualitative approach, working with movie content analysis of school, seeking to seize on the same relations of coexistence, conflicts and the mediations of teachers

Avaliação farmacognóstica qualitativa das folhas do vegetal Bambusa textilis

Introduction: Bamboos belong to the family Graminae, Bambusoidae subfamily, represented by about 1,250 species worldwide. Originally employed in construction and power, are currently the subject of investigations related to its therapeutic properties in neoplasms. The main species used for therapeutic purposes based on popular knowledge are: Phyllostachys nigra; Bambusa breiflora; tuldoides Bambusa textilis and Bambusa. The literature on the therapeutic action of bamboo species is scarce, but recent studies report a promising effect in the treatment of cancer and other chronic diseases. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate qualitatively the phytochemical composition of plant extract obtained from the leaves of the bamboo species Bambusa textilis, comparing this composition from vegetable leaves with 18 and 24 months of age. Methodology: After collecting plant leaves with 18 or 24 months, they were identified and submitted to drying and milling. For qualitative analysis of its components were employed methods of macroscopic evaluation (mucilage), method of benzoin (resin), reaction Shinoda (flavonoids), reaction with gelatin solution (tannins), boiling and foaming (saponins) and jobs of reactive Wagner, Bertrand, Dragendorff, Mayer, picric acid and tannic acid (alkaloids) (Biavatti; MILK, 2007). Results: in the youngest leaves were found positive for alkaloids, flavonoids, resins and saponins. In the leaves of the plant with 24 months were found only alkaloids flavonoids and resins. Conclusion: the composition of vegetable substances were found associated with a significant therapeutic potential difference and the phytochemical composition in comparison with plant leaves 18 or 24 months. Additional studies are needed to quantify these components, as well as the clarification of its action in the fight against cancer and chronic diseases.

Trata-se de um caso de uma paciente de 30 anos do sexo feminino, com prótese biológica valvar mitral em razão de estenose mitral sintomática e antecedentes de infarto agudo do miocárdio, episódios de convulsões tônico-clônicas generalizadas, alucinações visuais, eventos tromboembólicos cerebrais, apresentando no momento coreia e cardite aguda. Foram diagnosticados na paciente febre reumática em atividade, lúpus eritematoso sistêmico e síndrome do anticorpo antifosfolipídeo. A combinação de três diagnósticos incomuns em um mesmo paciente torna esse caso único, modificando o tratamento e seu prognóstico.
