In relation to the changes that mark the trajectory of libraries catalogs, this paper aims to describe the challenges that go beyond the current status of librarians, in relation to use of the on-line catalog as the main tool storage and retrieval of documentary information. Using literature specialized is intended to contribute to the discussion of the topic, in order to understand the challenges and prospects of using this important tool for search and information retrieval.

This research seeks to demonstrate the scientific collaboration in the field of Information Science, specifically in the thematic indexing, by analyzing the co-authors network, based on scientific collaboration in Brazilian journals online, according to CAPES. We selected six Brazilian journals online, namely: Ciência da Informação; Transinformação; Perspectivas da Ciência da Informação; Encontros BIBLI: Revista Eletrônica de Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação; DataGramaZero and Em Questão, totaling 25 articles. It was built in coauthorship network, using Pajek software in order to evaluate interactions between researchers and cohesion of the network by calculating its density.

This experimental project consists of a proposal for an editorial product in a magazine format that approaches in its pages the aspects on the use of social media on internet. For the production of the reports the spheres of sociability, leisure and professional development were explored. The editorial product approached the editorials of sociability, leisure, culture, ethics, consumption, politics and sports. The influence of the social media was demonstrated in the scope of each of these editorials. The magazine, named Follow, was elaborated in order to reach readers ranging from 21 to 60 years old, with an accessible language. The first edition of Follow was concluded in November 2010, with the format 17,5 X 25,4 cm. The magazine has 40 pages of editorial content and 4 pages corresponding to the cover and back cover. Follow’s production proposed itself as a contribution to the practices of editorial innovation in the communication market

This study aims to discuss the social media presence of the Brazilian newspapers Estadão and Folha de São Paulo, and how both have been working their way of communication on Facebook, the world famous social network. This study conducts a theoretical and conceptual review on the social media field and the digital media tendencies of journalism. It is also pointed out how the fanpages development was conceived -- recently, these fanpages have been aiming to find a way to approach their readers and interact with them. How both newspapers found a brand-new model on their social networks and how this model contributed to a more participative and equal communication, which involves the social network users, are worth of mention goals in this research

Researchs about consumer behavior show influences coming from a lot of fonts. Among them culture, social class, personal influence, family and consumer situation. Personal influence it’s the font object of this research. Personal influence can define what a consumer will buy or will not buy, especially with closer friends. Normally people got the information and transmit to him group, him family, making some difference in the opinion of this people. Ten years ago we were i………..by a dozen of friends. In these days, we have more facility to communicate and more facility to receiver information trough internet. Our personal influence extended from our closest friend to the world wide web group. The web has emerged as an important media. For the first time, people are highly connected, and users start to have lots of possibilities for expression and collaboration. Internet users contribute more and more to influence the preferences of your contact network. Organizations are beginning to discover that the power of influence networks is becoming more efficient than traditional marketing: people believe in what other people say, peers believe in peers. There is a new actor who builds preferences, who is constantly active in communication: the customer who narrates, on social networks, his experiences with a product, and makes his contacts become loyal customers or the most ardent critics of an organization. Transforming followers into disseminators is one of the biggest challenges of organizations in social media. Because of this, more and more companies have to plan communication strategies based in what customers think, desire, understand and discuss in these new places

The growing concern of experts in organizational communication with appropriate business relationships with its various stakeholders through digital platforms causes an upgrowth on the number of studies on the topic of social media. The social network communication receives analysis in different approaches, ranging from behavioral changes to the instrumentalization of these tools for marketing, relationship and information exchange. The objective of this monograph is to make an exploratory study that relates to organizational communication and social media, and discuss how the theories can contribute to the optimization of communication mediated by specific platforms that bring with them opportunities for interaction and relationship in the digital environment

La popularización de los medios digitales y los recursos de comunicación difunde las narrativas no lineales y agrava la crisis de la enseñanza en el aula, con la expansión de diferentes modelos presenciales virtuales de la educación (PVE). Es evidente la demasificación de los nuevos medios, en un contexto que agudiza la percepción individual y social de los individuos, que son atraídos por el enorme flujo global de mensajes informativos (BRIGGS; BURKE, 2006). La transición de los métodos de enseñanza en el aula para modelar la educación virtual e interactiva ganó un nuevo formato en la educación pública en São Paulo en 2012, con el lanzamiento de cursos electivos de enseñanza de Inglés y Español para estudiantes de la secundaria, con la mediación de el PC y con el contenido producido por la Escuela Virtual de Programas Educativos del Estado de São Paulo - Evesp. Aún continua presencia en los salones de las grandes clases del sistema escolar, la falta de materiales de enseñanza y aprendizaje adecuados en las clases impartidas por los profesores cuyos repertorios están alejados de la vida cotidiana de los estudiantes. En este contexto, se comprueban las actuaciones de aprendizaje cualitativos más bien negativos de las cuatro habilidades comunicativas: escuchar, hablar, leer y escribir (CAMERON, 2001). La investigación que llevamos a cabo es analizar las experiencias de enseñanza de Inglés y Español en la plataforma computarizada Evesp y de la clase de Inglés y Español de los Centros para el Curso de idiomas (CELS), para la escuela secundaria, y el piloto Early Bird, de enseñanza y el aprendizaje de Inglés de la escuela primaria, todos bajo la Junta de Educación de Bauru (SP).
