From one dimension of culture, the word boundary breaks away from the idea of territorial boundary defined a priori as something fixed to the delineation of boundaries. Questioning the determinant and connected speech processes of change, they left the banks in which they lived and sought recognition of self, identity and new choices have taken up other possibilities for being, social inclusion, coupled with the guarantee of their rights. Recognizing the existence of this movement, I propose a look at border on the inclusion of women as widows in order to observe the multiple identities of their female protagonists. This reflection aims to take account of social fraying beyond the limits and directions in taxes and if the widow, to expand the boundaries of its meaning and consider the possibility of hybrid subjects, differentiated, and therefore mobile and moving all the time an ongoing performance of operations, as well as contemporary studies have shown about gender relations that take into account the distinctions of race, class, ethnicity, and especially for generations.

Increasingly, the furniture market is competitive. The construction industry presents itself in growth, mainly due to the lines of existing incentives and tax credits established by the government, assisting the impulse to purchase real estate, building materials and furniture. Factors that promote and strengthen the sector's growth. With high demand from the furniture market, demand for higher quality and increasing technological advances, research is often undertaken in search of solutions for process improvement and product features, focusing on the production of materials less harmful to the environment, provision of raw press to lower cost, improve the production process and product development of cost-effective. This research focuses on the comparative study between two materials widely used in furniture manufacturing. MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) and MDP (Medium Density Particleboard). The subject provides the focus in furniture production, presenting and comparing data collected from three companies producing panels between physical and mechanical characteristics of the materials, also presenting some of the main factors of influence on the quality of the panels, their features and applications on mobile. The study shows the high potential of using the MDP (Medium Density Particleboard) in furniture designs, as well as MDF (Medium Density Particleboard), favoring the final terms of the project , resulting in better utilization of each material , avoiding waste and increase unnecessary cost . Currently, several projects are developed in MDP and MDF furniture, where there is no relevance to their characteristics regarding their limitations. Caracterização estrutural do Lineamento de Piúma e sua influência na porção norte da Bacia de Campos

The detailed study of the Brazilian continental margin basins became possible with the advancement of geophysical tools, with emphasis on seismic reflection. Characterizing the structural and stratigraphic elements of Brazil’s marginal basins they realized that there was a relationship with structures present on the adjacent continental basement. So many works began to be made to understand this relationship and know the major factors that influenced the evolution of the continental margin. The study area of this work includes the northern portion of the Campos Basin and the continental outcropping adjacent areas, which corresponds to the northern of Rio de Janeiro state and the southern of Espirito Santo state. This area stands an important structural feature of NW-SE direction with a projection to the Campos Basin called Lineamento de Piúma. The outcropping basement rocks belongs to the Ribeira Belt which was bonded to other mobile bands forming the continent Western Gondwana during the Brasiliano Cycle, which later fragmented giving rise to the Atlantic Ocean. The opening of the ocean results on the formation of the marginal basins of Brazil. These basins have continental, transitional and marine facies. On Campos Basin the continental phase resulted on the formation of horsts and grabens bounded by synthetic and antithetic faults. Continuing rifting formed the saline lakes that deposited siliciclastic and carbonate sediments. The transitional phase resulted on thick packages consist of evaporites (halite and anhydrite) that was deposited in lagoon environment, tectonically quiet arid and semi-arid. The marine phase it deposited siliciclastic and carbonate in the Campos Basin resulting in shales, marls, limestones, ritmito, turbidites, sandstones and others. Fresamento de Eucalyptus grandis

The process of milling wood is widely used in operations such as planing and manufacturing frames . Machines like planers , desengrossadeiras , routers , moldureiras and machining centers employ the milling process for cutting wood . In this work the process of milling CNC machining center of Eucalyptus grandis was studied because this is very much used in furniture , but without consistent studies on this process . This work a CNC machining center brand TECH Z1 for analysis of surface quality ( Ra ) in relation to the variation of cutting speed and feed in concordant and discordant tangential milling and face milling was used . We used Eucalyptus grandis . Four forward speeds ( 3, 5 , 7, and 9 m / min ) for four shear rates ( 5,9; 8,4; 10,9 and 13,4 m/s ) were used. Was used for testing a cutter finishing top speed steel with helical teeth 16mm in diameter . 6 repetitions for each test condition were performed . From the results it was observed that the best results for roughness Vc = 10,9 m / s were obtained for the milling concordant with the forward speed Vf = 7 m / min. As for Vf = 5 m / min the best finish was achieved with Vc = 8,4 m /s in discordant for milling . The feedrate and cutting influenced the roughness . The senses of concordant and discordant and cut the top and the top had a significant difference in roughness

Diagnóstico ambiental no período frio e seco do Córrego Bandeirantes, município de Rio Claro, SP: parâmetros físicos, químicos e físico-químicos

The present study was concerned with checking the water quality, the recovery of the riparian vegetation and vegetation around the springhead of stream Bandeirantes, such as the inadequate disposal of waste along this stream, which is located in Rio Claro, SP, in the period from March to July of 2010. Aiming to propose mitigation measures to reverse the degradation processes and develop activities to help a better awareness of the population directly related to this water resource. The water quality was analyzed by performing monthly sampling in three different points along the stream. The first point of sampling is in the spring of the stream, the second at the region called estradão and the third near its mouth, when it flows into the Ribeirão Claro, a tributary of the right bank of the Corumbataí river. It was calculated from the Water Quality Index (WQI) developed by Cetesb. The results were compared with current law. The riparian vegetation, which is responsible for the protection of rivers and streams, was observed and examined during the field work. The results indicated the stream as class 2 and the WQI has been classified, in the most of the analysis, such as a water of good quality. However, some parameters showed a worrying situation and highlighted the current situation, with waste deposits, furniture and animal waste into the pit of the stream studied

Frugivoria e dispersão de sementes por aves em áreas restauradas de diferentes idades no estado de São Paulo

Devido às crescentes pressões antrópicas sobre os ambientes naturais e o decorrente desmatamento, fragmentação florestal e extinções locais, diversos processos ecológicos importantes para a manutenção da biodiversidade estão sumindo. Diante de tal cenário a restauração ecológica vem avançando consideravelmente nas últimas décadas visando à recuperação de ambientes degradados e restituir os processos ecológicos intrínsecos das comunidades. Um dos principais processos intrinsecamente relacionados com a manutenção da integridade do ecossistema é a dispersão de sementes. Neste aspecto as aves oferecem uma enorme gama de serviços, funcionando como elos móveis que ativamente se deslocam na paisagem, conectando habitats no espaço e no tempo, mantendo sua memória e resiliência. Dessa maneira se faz necessário ter conhecimento se está havendo a retomada de interações ecológicas em áreas restauradas. No presente estudo foram estudadas as interações entre aves e plantas ornitocóricas através da frugívoria em três áreas de restauração de diferentes idades e um remanescente de vegetação como controle localizadas no interior do Estado de São Paulo. Foram registradas 25 espécies de aves consumindo frutos de 16 espécies de plantas ornitocóricas nas três áreas de restauração. As espécies de ave mais importantes das áreas de restauração foram Tangara sayaca, Turdus leucomelas, Pitangus sulphuratus, Myiozetetes similis e Elaenia flavogaster, todas de porte médio pequeno e de hábitos generalistas. Já as espécies mais importantes de plantas foram Cecropia pachystachia, Myrsine umbellata, Cytharexylum mirianthum, Trichilia clausenii e Schinus terebinthifolius. Deixando evidente que as principais espécies de aves presentes são de porte médio pequeno e as principais plantas possuem frutos e sementes pequenos... Salmonela em carcaça de aves

The genus Salmonella was characterized in 1885. It is divided into two species and six subspecies or subgenera. Belonging to the family Enterobacteriaceae is composed of Gram-negative rods, usually producing mobile gas from glucose, except in those serovars S. gallinarum and S. Pullorum. Salmonela is one of the biggest problems in public health for its wide occurrence in humans and in animals, where they occupy the center of the epidemiology of enteric salmonelosis. These are responsible for significant rates of morbidity and mortality. Several outbreaks of food transmitted diseases are described involving meat birds. Sources of salmonela in broiler chicks infected stem, feed and farm environment. Currently, S. enteritidis and S. typhimurium are the two most prevalent serovars. In this context, the sum is increased resistance to antimicrobial drugs is including the latest generation of its indiscriminate use in veterinary medicine. This fact represents risk to human and animal health. New strategies have been adopted by the Brazilian poultry industry to control salmonela in broilers, but the contamination by this pathogen is still present in slaughterhouses putting public health at risk

Industrial activity is growing at an increasingly rapid accelerated bringing impacts not very consistent with the preservation of the environment, since it uses its resources to meet its countless demands, making the sources begin to become increasingly scarce. Therefore, this paper proposes the use of waste a furniture industry for the production of panels for the interior decoration. Were used to manufacture them, two different types of materials, where such, the Kraft paper is more efficient for the underpinnings of these panels. Regarding the type of glue used, the contact yielded better results. Lixamento do Pinus elliotti com carbeto de silício e óxido de aluminio

The Sanding is a complex process involving many variables that affect the quality of the part produced, working mainly in the timber industry in the production of panels (MDF, MDP, HDF, etc...) and furniture. However, these industries use the sanding process empirically, not optimizing it. The aim of this study was to compare the behavior of sandpaper white aluminum oxide (OA-white) and Black silicon carbide (SiC-black), analyzing variables in the process as: strength, power, emission, vibration, wear particle size of sanding, and its consequences on the surface finish of the workpiece. Made the process of plane grinding samples of Pinus elliottii, processed in parallel to the fibers, which were sanded with sandpaper grain OA white and black 3-SiC abrasive conditions (new, moderately eroded and severely eroded) grain sizes in 3 (80, 100, and 120 mesh). 6 replicates was performed for each condition tested. Each trial was captured output variables of the sanding process: strength, power, emission and vibration. With two stages totaling 108 trials. After the sanded samples, it has the same surface quality by raising the surface roughness Ra. Through experiment, it can be concluded that abrasives OA-white tended to have higher strength, power, emissions and less vibration in the sanding process, compared to the SiC-black. However, surface finish exhibited similar to the particle size of 80 to 100 mesh, worn abrasive conditions. However, the particle size of 120 mesh, obtained by the roughness of sandpaper OA-bank was higher compared to SiC-black to all conditions of sandpaper due to its toughness

Aplicação de métodos computacionais no estudo das fases intermetálicas ordenadas pt-sn

Fuel cells are a very promising solution to the problems of power generation and emission of pollutant to the environment, excellent to be used in stationary application and mobile application too. The high cost of production of these devices, mainly due to the use of noble metals as anode, is a major obstacle to massive production and deployment of this technology, however the use of intermetallic phases of platinum combined with other metals less noble has been evaluated as electrodes in order to minimize production costs and still being able to significantly improve the catalytic performance of the anode. The study of intermetallic phases, exclusively done by experimental techniques is not complete and demand that other methods need to be applied to a deeper understanding of the behavior geometric properties and the electronic structure of the material, to this end the use of computer simulation methods, which have proved appropriate for a broader understanding of the geometric and electronic properties of the materials involved, so far not so well understood.. The use of computational methods provides answers to explain the behavior of the materials and allows assessing whether the intermetallic may be a good electrode. In this research project was used the Quantum-ESPRESSO package, based on the DFT theory, which provides the self-consistent field calculations with great precision, calculations of the periodic systems interatomic force, and other post-processing calculations that points to a knowledge of the geometric and electronic properties of materials, which may be related to other properties of them, even the electrocatalytic. Influência da fonte alimentar na infecção de triatomíneos por Trypanosoma cruzi

Embora a doença de Chagas seja amplamente estudada, ainda não se conhece todos os interferentes que modulam a relação parasitária Trypanosoma cruzi- vetor- hospedeiro vertebrado. Sabe-se que as aves são refratárias ao T. cruzi, ou seja, o parasito não consegue estabelecer parasitismo nas mesmas, enquanto que nos camundongos a infecção ocorre. Essa refratariedade representa um exemplo de resistência natural do hospedeiro a uma infecção parasitária. Originalmente, acreditava-se que isso ocorria devido à presença de um anticorpo natural contra o T. cruzi no sangue das aves, porém estudos atuais atribuem tal atividade ao sistema complemento presente no sangue das mesmas. Pretendeu-se avaliar neste projeto se a referida característica peculiar do sangue das aves interfere no processo e no nível de infecção dos triatomíneos, em especial de Rhodnius neglectus, espécie de comprovada importância epidemiológica. Para tanto, utilizou-se a cepa Y de T. cruzi e ninfas de 4º estádio de R. neglectus. Avaliou-se também a capacidade lítica do soro de galinha em formas epimastigotas e tripomastigotas em meio de cultura LIT, utilizando a cepa Y. Referente à influência de diferentes fontes alimentares na infecção de R. neglectus por T. cruzi, observou-se um decréscimo no número de exemplares infectados após alimentação em patos , apresentando Índice de Infecção médio de 19,74%. Por outro lado, exemplares infectados após alimentação em camundongos não apresentaram diferença significante na parasitemia total. Os testes in vitro demonstraram que a adição de soro de galinha em meio de cultura LIT, com formas epimastigotas e tripomastigotas, foi capaz de diminuir notoriamente a contagem de parasitos móveis até a contagem zero, uma hora após a adição. O conjunto desses resultados sugere que a refratariedade das aves ao T. cruzi influencia a infecção de R. neglectus pelo flagelado e foi demonstrada, in vitro, pela ...
