Étude d'un nouvel outil didactique pour l'apprentissage de la vascularisation du genou en première année de médecine

But : L'objectif de ce projet est de fournir un outil didactique pour l'apprentissage de la vascularisation du genou en première année de médecine. Méthode : Une angiographie est effectuée sur les membres inférieurs d'un cadavre. Des colorants rouges et bleus sont injectés respectivement dans les artères et les veines des genoux. Par la suite, une dissection du genou gauche est accomplie et six coupes transverses du genou droit sont mises en relation avec les images CT correspondantes. Une reconstruction tridimensionnelle de l'angiographie est enfin réalisée. Résultats : Les préparations citées ci-dessus sont présentées aux étudiants lors de séances de travaux pratiques sous forme d'un cours de 30 minutes environ. Conclusion : Il est possible d'améliorer l'enseignement de l'anatomie en faisant varier les angles d'approche d'une même région anatomique. Cette pratique est très appréciée des étudiants. En effet, ceux-ci montrent une grande motivation lors de ces séances de travaux pratiques, ce qui renforce bien évidemment l'apprentissage.

For example, intravenous administration of diuretics in heart failure shows no benefit. But double dose may improve symptoms faster. Direct Xa inhibitors are emerging as alternative to anti-vitamin K. beta-blockers reduce overall mortality in COPD and do not worsen lung function significantly. Each year, the chief residents from the Department of internal medicine at the University hospital of Lausanne meet to share their readings. Twelve new therapeutic considerations of 2011 are reviewed here.

Interstate 74 Quad Cities Corridor Study Scott County, Iowa and Rock Island County, Illinois Project Number IM-74-1(122)0-13-82 FHWA-IOWA-EIS-09-01-F, February 2009

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Iowa and Illinois Departments of Transportation (Iowa DOT and IDOT) have identified the Selected Alternative for improving Interstate 74 (I-74) from its southern terminus at Avenue of the Cities (23rd Avenue) in Moline, Illinois to its northern terminus one mile north of the I-74 interchange with 53rd Street in Davenport, Iowa. The Selected Alternative identified and discussed in this Record of Decision is the preferred alternative identified in the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS). The purpose of the proposed improvements is to improve capacity, travel reliability, and safety along I-74 between its termini, and provide consistency with local land use planning goals. The need for the proposed improvements to the I-74 corridor is based on a combination of factors related to providing better transportation service and sustaining economic development.
