Simulação de produção de sedimentos em microbacias em função de cenários de restauração florestal

In São Paulo state, deforestation and agriculture activities are increasing soil losses processes, especially in areas of susceptible soils where properties not adopt soil conservation practices. Environmental adequacy at property level regarding Permanent Protection Areas and Legal Reserves is considered a factor on reducing soil losses and considering that we assessed soil losses of different scenario of environmental adequacy. Simulations of erosive process were carried out in 15 catchments of Corumbataí river basin, according to different forest restoration scenarios, as well as the current situation of land use/land cover. The scenarios include the implementation of Permanent Preservation Areas (PPA), the reforestation of variable source areas, and two scenarios, the Legal Reserve installation in 20% of each catchment, being one of them for most critical areas in terms of erosion and the other at random. It was observed that the establishment of PPA and the reforestation of hydrologically sensitive areas, offered only a small contribution to the control of the erosive process, resulting in a reduction of 10% and 7,8%, respectively, while the legal reserve in critical areas has a significant reduction of 69,8%. The random scenario, in turn, resulted in a reduction of only 21,4%. Results show that reforestation could reduce soil losses, but previous studies of land prioritization and planning could increase significantly its efficiency at this process.

As políticas de formação do arte educador no século XXI: o caso da UNESP no Estado de São Paulo

This paper deals with the training of art educators, focusing on the courses offered at public universities in the state of São Paulo, where, specifically the pedagogical approach of training curricula of grades offered at UNESP, campus of São Paulo and Bauru. In the current situation have been proposed, from training in undergraduate courses, new tasks and responsibilities to work teaching the teacher in order to develop this educational increasingly effective so as to ensure efficient productivity autonomous learner in the process cognitive development in basic education, the teacher being assigned the task of stimulating that process and manage situations of educational work as a way of systematizing knowledge. The research consisted of questioning whether that teacher training allowed contact with the educational resources necessary for teaching, under current conditions assigned by the neoliberal conjuncture educational work of art educator with a view to the formation of aesthetic sensibility of the students from the class working, privileged pupils of public schools, to contribute to establishing the apprehension about the pedagogical training of art educators to confront the reality school, considering the specificity of action of these teachers. Therefore we conducted a desk study of existing legislation and the National Curriculum Guidelines that guide teacher training, correlating them to Pedagogical Policy Projects and curricula of undergraduate courses in Arts Education and / or Visual Arts courses UNESP. Proposta de elaboração de carta de sensibilidade ambiental aplicada a postos de combustíveis em Rio Claro-SP

Leaking of hydrocarbon in fuel underground storage tanks constitute object of concern for urban environmental management, because therefore they provoke damages to the physical, biological and socioeconomic environment. Though laws that regulate this essential activity exist, aiming at to prevent contamination with hydrocarbon, we observe that this still happens. This fact evidences that the selection of places for installation of gas stations has not considered the characteristics of the natural environment, implying in more critical consequences associated to the leaking. The objective of this work is to elaborate a chart applied to the gas stations in Rio Claro/SP. The determination of the Index of Environmental Sensitivity for elaboration of such chart was carried through breaking the selection of factors of Environmental Sensitivity of physical, biological and socioeconomic environment. The balance of these factors was given by means of Ad hoc consultation. The crossing of the information was carried through using the method of overlapping of overlays. The result is a chart that shows us areas with classes of high, middle and low Environmental Sensitivity. One gives credit that this type of material can be used as criterion in the selection of adjusted areas for installations of new gas stations and management of the already installed gas stations. The diagnosis of the current situation of the gas stations in the area and recommendations had also been elaborated.

This paper is aimed to analyze the distribution of green areas in public spaces of the Limeira city. This study seeks to diagnose the current situation of the distribution of green areas in the city of Limeira and how these areas contribute to the quality of life of city residents. The concept of public green areas can be defined in different ways , and for this study were considered spaces where there is a prevalence of vegetation, parks , public gardens , squares and medians of avenues performing aesthetic and ecological , whose soil is not completely covered . The presence of urban green areas has several functions, such as a space for recreation , environmental education and interpretation , and thus contribute to a greater closeness between man and nature . Economia criativa no Estado de São Paulo: sua importância no desenvolvimento econômico

The present study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the Creative Economy and Traditional Economy, highlighting the importance of each one on the economic development of the state of São Paulo. To achieve this goal, we analyzed the performance of the key sectors that comprise these economies, between the years 2002 and 2012, using data collected in the Annual Report (RAIS) and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE ). The information obtained is related to the share of each sector in formal employment, average and generated in each sector worker remuneration, qualification worked as the level of education acquired, the distribution of workers according to gender in each economic sector among others. The use of these factors are of great importance because trends characterize the current situation of the labor market. Analysis of the share of each sector of the creative economy and also the Traditional Economy in the economic development of the state of São Paulo is constructed through graphs and tables and the results show a difference in the training of workers in both economies, as well as a difference in their incomes

The aim of this article is to discuss and compare the goals and objectives for the youth and adult education (EJA) present in the National Education Plan (Law No. 10.17201), whose term ended in January 2011, with the new proposal for a National Education Plan, produced by the brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC), which is in course in Congress. Our discussion if run through by the comparison between what the goals that, in general, were reached, which were partially reached and which ones were not reached, this analysis will result, in a certain way, in a “portrait” of the current situation of youth and adult education (EJA) in Brazil.

The population’s life expectancy is growing every year. This fact highlights the importance of the elderly for the dentistry. The oral cavity quality has great influence on quality of life at both the biological and the psychological and social factors by maintaining a self-esteem, self-expression, communication and satisfactory facial aesthetics. Unfortunately, the number of edentulous elderly population is also high, which may create problems to their social life. Therefore, the objective of this study was to demonstrate and evaluate the difficulties of treating edentulous patients, comparing data prior to treatment to post data after treatment by complete dentures made to the patients undergoing oral rehabilitation in the Dental Clinic of the Faculty of Dentistry of Adamantina – FAI. For this study, questionnaires were filled in the form of answers developed alternative focused on the degree of patient satisfaction, the current situation of occlusion, and outcome of treatment. The results showed that 96% of patients were satisfied with the results obtained in the treatment, all of whom believed that the prosthesis helped them feel better aesthetically and improved self-esteem. By this methodology, it was concluded that the degree of satisfaction was high, but the services provided must be constantly reevaluated, once the elderly population presents a wide labor market for dental professionals and demand level services will certainly increase each year.

Ginga is a technology developed for digital television, which runs between the operating system and yours applications. However, the extensive use of Smart TVs would invalidate this technology? This article to cast a look on the topic, arousing reflection that effect and seeking bring issues that link the advantages and disadvantages of the two technologies, considering the current situation of Digital TV in Brazil.

Diagnóstico e proposta de diretrizes para o gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos no município de Rio Claro (SP)

Over the last few years, Brazil has some problems related to the management of solid waste, mainly related to the final disposal of materials, resulting in serious environmental risks to the municipalities that suffer from this type of situation. Poorly designed landfills and weak management systems after the termination of their employment, for example, is currently showing as a major problem for urban expansion and the subsoil of these sites, endangering all the environmental quality of the areas where they are located . Because of this scenario, this work produced a diagnosis of the current situation of the management of solid waste in the city of Rio Claro (SP) from its generation, through selective collection and sorting, as well as its final destination, in order to propose a reflection on current form management, in order to present some guidelines based on Federal Law 12.305 / 2010 - National Solid Waste Policy for improvement of this issue in the city. Although the situation found in the city can be considered reasonable for good, there is a need to improve and how to manage, especially in the operational issue of selective collection and also the participation of society in the category Environmental Education, converging in the search for improvements to the common good
