The approach of the subject matter in this work relies on the fact that the reliability of methods for performance analysis of materials proves critical for the result. This work focused on the development and presentation of the methodology for lifting probability curves for fatigue test (SN) according to standard E739, this focus is justified by the fact that the results in fatigue test show considerable dispersion making it difficult to reading and interpretation of data, this dispersion arises because the phenomenon of rupture is strongly influenced by internal characteristics of the material, we can then have much data ranging from test to test. Thus we set out originally for a brief study of aluminum alloys in question, as well as the treatments to which they were subjected. We also studied the behavior of materials when subjected to cyclic loading, which configures process of fatigue failure, and even fatigue test method in question. This statistical analysis is based on the ASTM E739 standard, so its contents was studied in detail so that we could present in detail the methodology and raise SN curves for different aluminum alloy 7012 subjected to fatigue test. Data were collected from tests conducted in the department of materials from two samples of aluminum alloy 7012 solubilized and precipitated by different time intervals and assayed temperature fatigue-type traction-compression, these data were then analyzed and used to survey curves using the base as E739. After lifting the curve analyzed the characteristics of the test samples and their correlation with the test results. We confirmed the effectiveness of the method of statistical analysis by ASME E739, which allowed the reading of data without this method would be very difficult to have a reading and comparison of the results for the two types... Um Estudo da modelagem matemática na educação matemática e seu potencial para o desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico

The implementation of mathematical modeling curricula represents a great challenge, both for teachers and students, since it escapes the traditional teaching methodology, i.e. when the teacher speaks to his/her students. This work presents, at least, one possible way of implementing mathematical modeling inside the classroom, and how this way encourage critical thinking in students. I see mathematical modeling as an opportunity to minimize student's rejection and increase their interest for mathematics, promoting their competencies to give points of scene in every day situations. The history of mathematics shows that mathematical modeling had developed since almost the beginning of human live, when men needed to solve problems that arose in the course of his life. Mathematics has become more and more abstract, but it is important to recall what was originated it. In this way, it is possible to make this subject matter more meaningful to students. I will make an introduction of mathematical modeling, presenting some important definitions. Based on this framework, I will present a classroom instruction understand on a 7 th grade classroom by myself. With this in instruction I sustain the idea that mathematical modeling has, in fact, a great potential to improve the quality of mathematics teaching. I also sustain that, the development of critical thinking, as a competence, way be achieved with it

Basquetebol X temas transversais: a produção de material didático audiovisual para a Educação Física escolar

This study aimed, first, produce a kind of educational materials in audiovisual format, to the Physical Education, addressing the Transversal Themes in view of the basketball. The themes chosen were Cultural Plurality, addressing the basketball in a wheelchair, and Labor and Consumer Affairs, addressing the marketing and exploitation of labor force that the company is Nike. There is no doubt the importance of media production in contemporary society, as one of its main languages, but of little relevance in the school environment, especially in the area of Physical Education. In a second phase aimed at evaluating the feasibility of this material both as a teaching strategy, such as content of learning lessons. The evaluation was made through a discussion in the form of focus groups with 10 students from 9 th grade of elementary school. The results showed that despite an initial rejection of the material as a teaching strategy because of the history that Physical Education has for several years, students were open to new ways of learning. Since the results on the material, such as learning content, showed that the videos were able to address and the Transversal Themes and meet the need for procedural content with the proposed activities. With this, we realize that students are willing to discuss matters that are not always addressed, but now, with the creation of national curriculum standards should be reflected in the classroom

Análise semiótica do conto Passeio Noturno, de Rubem Fonseca

This paper presents an analysis of the short story Passeio Noturno I, by Rubens Fonseca, from the gerative way of sense, oriented by Greimas´ postulations of generative semiotics. For the semiotics, discourse is conceived as a superposition of levels of diferent depth which are articulated according to a way which goes from the abstract to the concrete (BARROS, 2001). Following the notion of gerative way, the analysis of the short story is three folded: the level of fundamental structures, the level of the narrative structures and the level of the discursive structures. The subject matter that underlies the structure of the short story refers to a critique of the violence present in capitalist society in which "voices of culture" coexist with "voices of barbarie".

Nutrient accumulation curves help us understand the nutritional demands of a crop. The aim of this study was to evaluate the growth and accumulation of macronutrients by the sweet sorghum cultivars CVSW80007, CVSW80147, CVSW82028, CVSW82158. The experiment was conducted in a renewal sugarcane ratoon area at Uchoa county, SP, being deployed in January 2012. The plants were collected in 15 days intervals from the 10th after emergence (DAE). The greatest content of dry matter, N, P, Mg and S, was due to by the CVSW82028 cultivar, while the CVSW82158 extract the greatest amount of K and the CVSW80147 of Ca. The stalks represented the highs percentage of dry matter and nutrient content, except nitrogen and phosphorus, in which grains corresponded to the higher percentage of total absorption. The CVSW80007, CVSW82028 and CVSW82158 cultivars showed the following decreasing nutrient extraction N>K>Ca>Mg>P>S and the CVSW80147, K>N>Ca>Mg>P>S. Considering only the stalks harvest, the decreasing nutrient exportation is the same for all cultivars: K>N>Ca>Mg>S>P. Whereas the decreasing nutrient exportation sequence considering stalks and grain harvest is the following for the CVSW80007, CVSW80147 and CVSW82158 cultivars: K>N>Ca>Mg>P>S and K>N>Ca>Mg>P>S for the CVSW82028.

História da comunicação social: um campo em construção

Not intending to exhaust the subject, we will attempt to show the issue status in the construction of the History of Mass Media. An initial literature review, in order to identify works relating to the subject, shows us how this issue has gone unnoticed in Academy. Expert authors in the history of every media outlet (newspaper, radio, television, movies, and more recently, internet) have been rising, but few have faced the challenge of building a History of Media. There are many reasons to justify this. It comes from the fact it is a young science, in construction, to the absence of a clear definition regarding the subject matter, sources, and methods of their own area of expertise. After all, journalism and film, for example, can be inserted in the same methodological procedure?
