Introduction: Individuals born from the 1990’s to accompany technological change course and learn how to use the technological resources that have access before they even learn to read or write. In this sense, the literature considers the digital natives or even 'Google generation'. However, it has been questioned their skills to identify information needs and seeking and use of information in the most varied environments digital information available on the Web. Objectives: To characterize the behavior of information seeking in everyday life of a group of teenage students from a private school in Marilia, Sao Paulo. Methodology: A qualitative study with 30 adolescent students of a private school in Marilia, Sao Paulo. Data collection was accomplished at first by means of a questionnaire, based on the research of Hughes-Hussell and August (2007), containing questions about age, gender, hobbies and everyday tasks, and issues the use of computers and the internet, which allowed determination of the social, economic and cultural rights of respondents. Results: have focused on the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to search access and use information. It was suggested that the "Brotherhood of Informatics', an incentive for students to (re) learn the tools of digital communication and make appropriate use of the resources, products and services on the web to search and effective use of information compatible with their needs and that is tied to the ethical and responsible use of technology environments. Conclusions: The results arising from this study will continue through the continuation of the Confraternity of Computing, which became a "thermometer" on the use of digital information environments and the attitude of the students in front of Information and Communication Technologies in the College “Cristo Rei”.

Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação em Bibliotecas Escolares: em busca de um espaço dinâmico

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) can be combined with the acquisition of academic knowledge and cultural development of students, as they improve their information literacy, and why not say, also digital. Weaim in this research seek references and present experiences that encourage a new concept of school library with the use of ICT in teaching and learning in individual and collective development of the student community. To complement this study we prioritized the following objectives: to insert the technology into the routine of a school library; identify the informational and technological profile of adolescents; understand the needs and technological resources they use to obtain information in daily life and also analyze the importance the effective participation of the school library in the educational context of the school, through greater interaction between the librarian, teacher and pedagogical coordination seeking a cooperative and informal ICT teaching and learning for along with the students, sharing the search for information and knowledge, in a conscious and responsible way. Chosen as theoretical foundation the cognitive studies of Jean Piaget, witch explains how the stages of assimilation and accommodation of knowledge in cooperative practices work. As a methodology was developed a participatory-action research, to learn the behavioral state of young people and adolescents, based on the model of information search for the everyday life (Everyday Life Information Seeking) – ELIS, developed by Finnish researcher Savoleinen (2006), as well as identify the informational and technological profile of adolescents from two selected approaches in the scientific literature (HUGUES-HASSEL; AGOSTO, 2007; UCL, 2008). Thus, came up the initiative to create a Confraternity of the Library in a collaborative digital environment, providing the participants discussion and learning technologies as well as digital information literacy enhancement.

New real estate launch products and closed residential spaces, occurs with increasing frequency in Brazilian cities and are based on the assumption that there is a general increase in violence, as we address urban insecurity, which involves individual coping, and privatizing adept practices of exacerbated control mechanisms. We researched deployment and appropriation of residential spaces in middle cities of Sao Paulo (Brazil). We identify social representations of the others, blamed for insecurity growing, and analyzed from everyday life perspective. We hypothesized that new forms of production of urban space with a tendency to social and spatial fragmentation, generate new practices.

The educational institutions need to rethink issues related to teacher training in order to seek personal construction of teaching. Oriented research has been identified as useful in the process of teacher training. Through research builds knowledge about the problems faced in teaching, producing the most effective methods. The aim of this paper is to verify the validity of the application of research activities in the form of short courses and themed play during the formation of licensees and the use and construction of knowledge of high school students who attended these short courses. This work is linked to training of undergraduates and implementation of different activities of teaching and learning for high school students. The oriented investigation was the methodology chosen for the development of activities in which, through the construction and implementation of the mini-courses Students are encouraged to participate in the construction of knowledge itself in activities that suggest the development and testing of hypotheses. The mini-courses are designed and implemented by teachers of the ninth and tenth terms of the degree in chemistry. Students of public schools were the privileged. Data were collected through observation and interview. In applying these mini-courses, associated with the daily, prospective teachers connected theory to practice, arousing the curiosity of students and leading them to raise issues related to the content of chemistry. Students showed interest in the construction of the content addressed. The student teachers sought to study different concepts and how to make them more attractive, causing the chemistry was associated with the phenomena of everyday life, including the problems faced when teaching and trying different possible solutions. Thus, there was an increase in interest in teaching and learning

Análise da flexibilidade e da postura em jovens atletas praticantes de futebol

there is evidence that sport can trigger the onset of postural patterns specific to each modality, regardless of the geopolitical aspects, social, cultural habits of everyday life and ethnicity. Since changes in flexibility are cited as possible precursors of decreased range of motion, thereby harming the mechanics of the lower limbs and gait. Objetcive: The objective of this study was to analyze changes in posture and flexibility in young soccer players. Methods: were assessed 51 youngsters, aged between 14 and 18 years, soccer players registered in the Municipal Presidente Prudente SP and categories of the base of Gremio of Presidente Prudente. Data were collected from the assessment by the postural software assessment, and flexibility tests the Bench, to jail and later by tests of muscle length to jail earlier proposed by Kendall et al , was also collected anthropometric data were later confronted with the results statistically. The results were organized into spreadsheets for computing, which later could be performed the statistical analysis. Values are expressed by means of central tendency and variability as well as medians and 95% confidence intervals. The comparison for each profile height and BMI was made by means of analysis of variance complemented by Tukey test. Were considered the statistical differences when P <0.05. Results: In the sample studied 64% of the subjects classified as normal posture, the same happened with 70.59% of the athletes for flexibility in relation to the center of gravity of the sample had 100% anterior displacement of the trunk and 86.28% with a deviation of center of gravity to the left, showing a tendency to some postural deviations for the group assessed. Conclusion: from the results we can conclude that there was significant relationship between the postural angle of the right leg and left angle of the pelvis with BMI and also ankle angle... Aplicando Métodos de Mineração Visual de Texto em conteúdo de Fórum de Discussão

We are included in a society where the use of the Internet became very important to our everyday life. The relationships nowadays usually happen through technological devices instead of face to face contact, for instance, Internet forums where people can discuss online. However, the global analysis is a big challenge, due to the large amount of data. This work investigates the use of visual representations to support an exploratory analysis of contents in messages from discussions forums. This analysis considers the thematic and the chronology. The target forums refer to the educational area and the analysis happens manually, i.e. by direct reading message-by-message. The proprieties of perception and cognition of the human visual system allow a person the capacity to conduct high-level tasks in information extraction from a graphical or visual representation of data. Therefore, this work was based on Visual Analytics, an area that aims create techniques that amplify these human abilities. For that reason we used software that creates a visualization of data from a forum. This software allows a forum content analysis. But, during the work, we identified the necessity to create a new tool to clean the data, because the data had a lot of unnecessary information. After cleaning the data we created a new visualization and held an analysis seeking a new knowledge. In the end we compared the new visualization with the manual analysis that had been made. Analyzing the results, it was evident the potential of visualization use, it provides a better correlation between the information, enabling the acquisition of new knowledge that was not identified in the initial analysis, providing a better use of the forum content
