Pensamiento variacional: El estudio de las relaciones trigonometricas en contextos dinámicos

Este documento se elabora a partir de una revisión inicial de literatura donde se analizaron los Lineamientos Curriculares, los Estándares Básicos de Competencia y algunos estudios e investigaciones en el campo de la variación y la trigonometría. Desde los elementos teóricos observados en la literatura se hizo indispensable un análisis de algunos libros de texto frente al tipo de ejercicios que se proponía para abordar la trigonometría plana; de este análisis surgió la necesidad de diseñar propuestas alternativas en las cuales se haga hincapié en la visualización de relaciones funcionales entre los ángulos y los lados de un triángulo; de este modo, se espera aportar elementos para superar la idea de que las relaciones trigonométricas son “fórmulas” para calcular datos fijos y desconocidos de un triángulo.

Construcción de la recta tangente variacional a traves de los usos del conocimiento del siglo XVII y XVIII

El presente trabajo es una investigación en curso. Una fuente de dificultades didácticas es la interpretación geométrica de la derivada, en donde la recta tangente no se considera como objeto de estudio. Nuestro planteamiento es que al construir la recta tangente desde una perspectiva variacional puede servir como una introducción a la derivada desde un punto de vista gráfico, lo cual implica también un rediseño del Discurso Matemático Escolar. Utilizamos la teoría de la Socioepistemología, en la cual se plantea que el uso de herramientas matemáticas para resolver actividades organizadas intencionalmente con la intención de resolver un problema, son una práctica, normadas por una práctica social. El escenario histórico nos ha servido para reconocer la práctica de la tangente variacional. Actualmente hemos implementado un método para obtener nuestros datos el cual nos servirá para que un futuro próximo podamos analizarlos y obtener conclusiones.

Aportación al conocimiento fitosociológico de las sierras del Boquerón y Palomera (Valencia-Albacete): los matorrales

Se hace un estudio de los matorrales seriales de las sierras del Boquerón y Palomera (Valencia-Albacete). Se discute su posición sintaxonómica y se proponen cuatro nuevasasociaciones (Salvio lavandulifoliae-Erinacetum anthyllidis, Salvio lavandulifoliae-Genistetum mugronensis, Thymo piperellae-Hypericetum ericoidis y Gypsopyllo struthii-Ononidetum edentulae) y diez nuevas subasociaciones.

Pathophysiology of feline hyperadrenocorticism clinical. Case presentation

Hyperadrenocorticism is a rare endocrine disease in the cat; it is characterized by elevated blood cortisol level that generates numerous clinical signs including hyperglycemia, polyuria, polydipsia, polyphagia and skin diseases. The average age of onset is around 10 years. This disease usually occurs link with other endocrine disorders such as diabetes mellitus.The disease can be produced by functional alteration of the pituitary gland or the adrenal. A case report, with differential diagnosis and review of the literature, is presented.

Discovering keys to explain social policies within the social and democratic rule-of-law sate

There is a collective worldview on social policies that is expressed and understood by university professionals. However, it takes students time to construct this knowledge. Here, we provide fundamental ideas and a dynamic to facilitate learning of social policies. The preparation of a brief dictionary of significant terms is to be constructed as a group, alongside the maieutic work to be carried out by the teacher. The goal is to discover keys to understand the meaning of social policies and the underlying values that sustain a social and democratic rule-of-law state such as the one proposed in the Spanish Constitution of 1978. Attention is focused on the structure of the mixed welfare state. This is an integral proposal and comprises three dimensions. First, it considers the state and its possible welfare agents: business, market, the Church and civil society. The attitudes with which universal and inclusive social action is promoted, breaking radically with the aid-based meaning contained in other systems, are then addressed. Finally, we examine human dignity as a principle and aim of intervention, a basis for understanding other concepts such as human, social, labour and political rights. It is to be hoped that these pages prove useful for both teaching staff and students.

Electron impact excitation of Ar XVII

Energies for the lowest 49 levels among the 1s(2) and 1snl (n = 2-5) configurations of Ar XVII have been calculated using the GRASP code of Dyall et al. (1989, Comput. Phys. Comm., 55, 424). Additionally, radiative rates, oscillator strengths, and line strengths are calculated for all electric dipole (E1), magnetic dipole (M1), electric quadrupole (E2), and magnetic quadrupole (M2) transitions among these levels. Furthermore, collision strengths have also been calculated for all the 1176 transitions among the above 49 levels using the Dirac Atomic R-matrix Code (DARC) of Norrington & Grant (2005, Comput. Phys. Commun., in preparation), over a wide energy range up to 580 Ryd. Resonances have been resolved in the threshold region, and effective collision strengths have been obtained over a wide temperature range up to log T-e = 7.2 K. Comparisons are made with the limited results available in the literature, and the accuracy of the data is assessed. Our energy levels are estimated to be accurate to better than 0.1%, whereas results for other parameters are probably accurate to better than 20%.

Energies of the lowest 157 levels belonging to the (1s(2)) 2s(2)2p(6), 2s(2)p(5)3l, 2s(2)2p(5)4l, 2s(2)2p(5)4l, 2s2p(5)5l, 2s2p(6)4l and 2s2p(6)5l configurations of Fe XVII have been calculated using the GRASP code of Dyall et al. (1989). Additionally, radiative rates, oscillator strengths, and line strengths are calculated for all electric dipole (E I), magnetic dipole (M I), electric quadrupole (E2), and magnetic quadrupole (M2) transitions among these levels. Comparisons are made with the results already available in the literature, and the accuracy of the data is assessed. Our energy levels are expected to be accurate to better than M whereas results for other parameters are probably accurate to better than 20%.

Energy levels and radiative rates have been calculated for fine-structure transitions among the lowest 89 levels of the (1s(2)) 2s(2)2p(6), 2s(2) 2p(5) 3 l, 2s(2) 2p(5) 4l, 2s2p(6) 3 l, and 2s2p(6)4l configurations of Fe XVII using the GRASP code of Dyall et al. Collision strengths have also been calculated, for transitions among the lowest 55 levels, using the recently developed Dirac atomic R-matrix code (DARC) of Norrington & Grant. The results are compared with those available in the literature, and the accuracy of the data is assessed.

Non-agrocultural co-peratives and economy transformation in Cuba: politic processes and strategies

Contribution of co-operatives has been demonstrated since the 1970s as the main development line in agricultural production in Cuba. In contrast, there has been a late recognition of urban co-operatives, even if the need of transformations based on the realization of property in different territorial scenarios had been identified. The article analyses the reform processes launched since the first decade of the 21st century focusing on the nature of the initiatives fostering formation and promotion of nonagricultural co-operatives including follow up of their performance. The potential and limitations of the recent experiences are examined in order to reflect on the organizational processes and transformations from the point of view of their members. To conclude, some questions are posed about whether these co-operatives are capable of avoiding the impact of earlier employment circumstances and of developing strategies aimed at reinforcing voluntary membership and autonomy on which they are founded.

Thus, first the Social Economy is presented as an important alternative to creating and promoting employment, which seeks to combine economic and social objectives in the development of activities. Subsequently, focusing on labor companies, updated its importance in the regional economy for later data and through the analysis of two samples are available, set the attributes or most significant characteristics of these entrepreneurs.
