The process of electric arc welding with shielding gas (GMAW) is being increasingly used in various industrial applications. This process occurs by which an electric arc is established between the work piece and a consumable in the form of wire, the arc melts the wire continuously as it is fed to the weld pool. The weld metal is protected from the atmosphere by flowing a gas (or gas mixture) inert or active. This paper presents a study of the welding process GMAW - MIG on aluminum tubes, alloy 6101 - T6, used in the manufacture of armored busbar, intended for driving electric power plants. 5(five) were welded specimens, changing certain welding parameters at each time was monitored welding joint as well as the interpass temperature. Tests were performed bending, tensile and macrographical analysis of body-of-evidence and through its results was possible to reach a better welding condition, which minimizes the appearance of pores, since the porosity has great influence on the mechanical strength and electrical conductivity of welded pipes

This study presents an analysis of International Tourism, one of the most growing economic activities in the world. To realize promotion in this area, countries use diverse strategies, among them the touristic marketing. It consists on an instrument used to attract foreign tourists and build the image of the country as a touristic destination, transforming it into a global emergent leader. Due to the big sports events which will happen in Brazil, the World Cup and the Olympic Games, respectively, it is expected a growth on touristic activities. This is an opportunity to promote the country and build its image, the reason why the Federal Government made Plano Aquarela 2020, formed by a strategic plan which aims the international promotion of the country through a marketing program focused on the international tourist. What this image is and how to promote it are issues that the public relations professionals are capable to solve, with their abilities to develop instruments and their important actions to build a good touristic destination image of the country. This study aims to analyze the collaboration of public relations to improve the country's image from the actions developed by Plano Aquarela 2020. For this, a literature search was performed to expose the concepts of communication involved, the analysis of the plan and their actions, use the interview as an exploratory study to clarify information and stimulate new ideas

O presente trabalho constitui uma tentativa de traçar os caminhos do magistério no plano real/histórico através do resgate da imagem dos docentes retratados na literatura brasileira, além de auxiliar alunos e professores de cursos de licenciatura a entender melhor os processos históricos. Ao longo de nossa história diversos escritores se propuseram a retratar o professor em suas obras, tais como: Machado de Assis (1840), com Conto de Escola, Raul Dávila Pompéia (1888) em O Ateneu, Oswald de Andrade (1926) em Memórias Sentimentais de João Miramar, Sylvia Orthof (1980) com a crônica Bicho Carpinteiro, Ziraldo (1995) em Uma professora muito Maluquinha e Thalita Rebouças (2006), em Fala sério, Professor! E é a partir dessas obras que ocorre uma reflexão sobre a imagem que os profissionais da educação transmitem/transmitiram para a sociedade, através do olhar dos artistas literários. Além de influenciar a visão daqueles que lêem suas obras, os escritores transpõem em seus textos elementos que nos permitem reviver o paradigma por eles vivenciado, fazendo da literatura um instrumento para o resgate da história.

This paper presents the communication as a major part in construction of a reality symbolized by the individual, his close relationship with politics and how political leaders use it to build a positive image that gives them credibility, membership of the intended audience, the assumption and maintenance of the power to represent the collective body. In the light of sociological, anthropological and discourse theories, understands communication as a social phenomenon indispensable to building democracy while, paradoxically, becomes part of the political problem when it’s used to override individual interests to collective interests. It concludes by examining the documentary Entreatos to demonstrate how the theory presented is applicable in political campaigns and their use in promoting the political leader as a formatted product to be “consumed” by the voter

Techniques of image combination, with extraction of objects to set a final scene, are very used in applications from photos montages to cinematographic productions. These techniques are called digital matting. With them is possible to decrease the cost of productions, because it is not necessary for the actor to be filmed in the location where the final scene occurs. This feature also favors its use in programs made to digital television, which demands a high quality image. Many digital matting algorithms use markings done on the images, to demarcate what is the foreground, the background and the uncertainty areas. This marking is called trimap, which is a triple map containing these three informations. The trimap is done, typically, from manual markings. In this project, methods were created that can be used in digital matting algorithms, with restriction of time and without human interaction, that is, the creation of an algorithm that generates the trimap automatically. This last one can be generated from the difference between a color of an arbitrary background and the foreground, or by using a depth map. It was also created a matting method, based on the Geodesic Matting (BAI; SAPIRO, 2009), which has an inferior processing time then the original one. Aiming to improve the performance of the applications that generates the trimap and of the algorithms that generates the alphamap (map that associates a value to the transparency of each pixel of the image), allowing its use in applications with time restrictions, it was used the CUDA architecture. Because of the great metallurgical advances, the welded tubes by HF / ERW (High Frequency / Electrical Resistance Welding) have played a more active role in the oil and gas, gradually replacing tubes produced by other processes (UOE, SAW, and others) to deep water applications, in high and extremely low temperatures, highpressure conditions and in highly corrosive environments. However, studies have revealed that defects in the welded joints are in one of main causes of failures in pipelines. Associated with damage external and the stringent requirements of this sector, the welded joints become particularly critical for his toughness and the determination of this particular property is fundamental. This study aims to evaluate the toughness of the HF / ERW pipes in HSLA steel API X70 class, used in pipelines transport systems of gas and oil from data obtained with CTOD tests (Crack Tip Opening Displacement). The main objectives of this project are: mechanical and microstructural characterization of steels API X70 manufactured in Brazil; and evaluation of the toughness of weld process by HF / ERW steel API X70 national. After having the tests done, mechanical, chemical and metallurgical, we have the conclusion that those pipe are in agreement to API 5L 42ª edition for X70MO and the toughness behaves like the expected

Studies about structural integrity are very important when it desires to prevent disasters associated with flaws inherent in materials used in structural components. The welded joints in steel pipes used to conduction and distribution of oil and gas correspond to the regions most susceptible to flaw. Aiming to contribute to this research line, the present study was designed to assess experimentally the structural integrity of welded joints in steel pipes API 5L X70 used in pipeline systems. This assessment is given from tests of CTOD, whose aim is simulate in laboratory the real behaviour of crack from of his propagation on the welded joint obtained by high frequency electric resistance welding. In this case, the analyses are performed from specimens SE(B) obtained directly of steel pipe API 5L X70. The proposed methodology involves tests of CTOD at lower temperature, in order to assess the toughness of material in critical operation conditions. From performance of CTOD tests, was possible assess the toughness of welded joints in terms of quantity through CTOD parameter and in terms of quality from behaviour of curve load versus CMOD. In this study, also, sought to compare CTOD’s results obtained through rules ASTM E1820 (2008) and BS 7448 (1991). Although the two standards cited previously have adopted different parameters to calculated the value of CTOD, concluded that the values of CTOD tend to converge for a common value

Com o desenvolvimento da tecnologia, os meios de comunicação de massa evoluíram gradativamente. Neste cenário atual, a televisão representa um dos meios mais poderosos, visto que sua capacidade de alcance abarca milhões de pessoas, dentre elas, o público infantil. Frente aos recursos utilizados, como a exploração de imagens e sons, capazes de acionar as mais variadas emoções, observa-se a presença de um discurso ideológico que, estando aliado ao consumo, propõe mascarar as relações de fragmentação social. Tal discurso é dissipado pela televisão, e encontra-se inserido no universo infantil, denotando aspecto de preocupação. Por isso, a presente pesquisa consiste num trabalho de investigação e crítica acerca dos valores perpassados pela ideologia da classe dominante através da TV, revelando a urgência da discussão e da educação voltadas para a formação de telespectadores críticos, desde sua infância.

Este relatório tem como função mostrar e descrever as fases de produção do trabalho de conclusão de curso de Rádio e Televisão denominado “Êxodo, a mulher no processo de partir” que aborda o mundo feminino focando na imagem da mulher vinculada pela religião católica e pelos meios de comunicação, e visando mostrar a imagem real de como elas são, o que sentem, suas dores e superações. Fazendo, desse modo, um contrapeso entre o real e o imaginário. Os produtos deste trabalho são um vídeo documentário e um livro dos quais em sua liguagem de narrativa trazem a mulher não como a problemática, mas sim a sociedade paternalista em que ela se encontra dificultando sua verdadeira manifestação, sua natureza e limitando suas perspectivas que acabam por torná-las generalizadas, marginalizadas e inferiorizadas em uma cultura machista e sexista que reflete na mídia atingindo a mulher diretamente e causando a ela sucessivas dificuldades, alardes e submissão, tal como o desgaste emocional no dia a dia que nem sempre tem explicação

The professional market for physical education and fitness demands for perfect and aesthetically beautiful bodies from its professionals, and the additional pressure of media, both add to the risk for body image dissatisfaction among these professional, increasing the risk for developing body image distortions and, ultimately, eating disorders. Body image dissatisfaction affects more women in their attempts for thin ideal. However, lately, because of social pressure for body aesthetical habits in both genders, men are faced with higher risk for distortions in body perception, leading to unhealthy eating habits and pathogenic exercise. With this in mind, the purpose of this study was to compare freshmen and senior physical education (PE) students from the State University of São Paulo (UNESP), as well as to make gender comparisons. Two groups comprise each, 46 freshmen PE students (23 females and 23 males), average age 18.7 ± 1.7 years; and 26 senior PE students (13 females and 13 males), average age 23 ± 1.9 years. Both groups filled out the questionnaires: Eating Attitudes Test/ EAT-26, Body Shape Questionnaire/ BSQ, Body Shape Questionnaire/ BSQ, and motivation state questionnaire/ LEA-RI. Results showed that the majority of participants wanted to change some aspect of their looks; women were more dissatisfied with their bodies than men; eating behavior scores were within the normal range for both groups. Finally, freshmen PE students are at a higher risk for body image distortion than senior PE students. We concluded that women, as well as younger individuals in general, are at higher risk for body image distortions. It is likely that experience in the further years of a physical education course has positive impact on body self image.

Schilder(1980) defines body image as the figuration of the body in your mind,ie to the way the body is presented to all. This image is constructed from six months in the infant´s contact with his mother by touch,thought the reflection of his image in the mirror and then in the contexto f activies préschool- didatic educator pedagogical proposes by consolidating the six years age. This importance of stdying the construction of body image pré-school educator is to prevent a failure in the process causing the child to change that image generating blocks and physical or psychological dificulties in the socialization process of children by promoting distortion of body image . O study objective is to understand how such package is the process of building up this image in preschool and your contribution to the process of learning of child. A methodology was a research review on amaig body, enconpassing the overall development of child and adult disorders the failure of the process constructive in this picture and a brief educational propose of how early childhood educator can work with this theme in pré-school. This study concluded that this topic is important to be working in the Field of education encompasses a degree in Physical Education and Pedagogy words.

The comet assay is a method of DNA damage analysis widely used to quantify oxidative damage, crosslinks of DNA, apoptosis and genotoxicity of chemicals substances as chemical, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals products, among others. This technique is suitable to detect DNA strand breaks, alkali-labile sites and incomplete excision repair sites and is based on the migration of DNA fragments by microeletroforesis, DNA migrates for the anode forming a “tail”, and the formed image has the appearance of a comet. The slides can be stained with fluorescence or silver, having differences in the microscopy type used for the analysis and the possibility of storage of the slides, moreover, the first one is a stained-method with more difficulties of accomplishment. The image analysis can be performed by a visual way, however, there is a disadvantage as the subjectivity on the results, that can be minimized by an automated method of digital analysis. This process was studied in this report with the aim to perceive the validation of the digital analysis turning it a quantitative method with larger reproductibility, minimizing the variability and imprecision due to the subjective analysis. For this validation we selected 50 comets photographed in a standardized way and printed, afterwards, pictures were submitted to three experienced appraisers, who quantified them manually. Later, the images were processed by free software ImageJ 1.38x, printed and quantified manually by the same appraisers. The intraclass correlation was higher to comet measures after image processing. Following, an algorithm of automated digital analysis from the measures of the comet was developed; the values obtained were compared with those 12 estimated manually after the processing resulting high correlation among the measures.
