Txaikovski : els concerts per a piano i orquestra : arrels, inspiracions i influències

La intenció d’aquest projecte final és donar més informació sobre els concerts de Txaikovski per a Piano i Orquestra a través d’ una contextualització socio-cultural, una recerca entorn a les inspiracions estètiques del compositor i en els concerts en particular, així com les influències que aquests van tenir per als seus contemporanis. El treball es divideix en quatre grans capítols d’ estudi i recerca històrica, així com breus anàlisis per a situar en concret les inspiracions estètiques de les que es parla. Com a repertori de concert s’ interpreta, doncs, un dels concerts en la seva totalitat: el Concert per a Piano i Orquestra No.1, Op.23 en Si bemoll menor.

Els baixonets a Catalunya : una aproximació organològica, funcional i del repertori : el fons musical de Canet de Mar

Aquest treball fa un estudi dels baixonets a Catalunya des de les perspectives organològica, funcional i del repertori. A partir de les informacions aportades pels instruments originals, pels tractats i per estudis especialitats, es defineixen una tipologia instrumental pròpiament hispànica, i unes funcions principalment relacionades amb la música vocal religiosa de mitjans del segle XVI a mitjans del segle XVIII. Posteriorment, es realitza un estudi de la música amb baixonet a la localitat de Canet de Mar. A partir del treball de camp al seu arxiu parroquial, es compilen vuit obres específiques per a baixonet, se'n transcriuen alguns manuscrits, i se'n defineixen els principals aspectes formals i funcionals. El cas de Canet de Mar es pot considerar com un exemple més o menys representatiu de la pràctica instrumental i del repertori específic del baixonet a Catalunya a finals del segle XVII i començaments del segle XVIII.

Treball de recerca realitzat per un alumne d’ensenyament secundari i guardonat amb un Premi CIRIT per fomentar l'esperit científic del Jovent l’any 2010. Els objectius principals han estat comprendre el funcionament i l'evolució del Circuit de Catalunya, una de les empreses catalanes que atrau a milers de turistes i per tant, estudiar les repercussions a nivell local que crea aquesta empresa, basant-se en els beneficis que aporta aquesta societat als municipis propers, específicament, Montmeló.

The objective of this study consists in quantifying in money terms thepotential reduction in usage of public health care outlets associatedto the tenure of double (public plus private) insurance. In order to address the problem, a probabilistic model for visits to physicians is specified and estimated using data from the Catalonian Health Survey. Also, a model for the marginal cost of a visit to a physician is estimated using data from a representative sample of fee-for-service payments from a major insurer. Combining the estimates from the two models it is possible to quantify in money terms the cost/savings of alternative policies which bear an impact on the adoption of double insurance by the population. The results suggest that the private sector absorbs an important volumeof demand which would be re-directed to the public sector if consumerscease to hold double insurance.

Intelectuais africanos no espaço político português : desenvolvimento da sua intervenção nativista entre finais do século XIX e meados do século XX : o caso de Cabo Verde

Neste trabalho abordamos a intervenção nativista de alguns intelectuais africanos de Cabo Verde com o objectivo de clarificar o seu significado e alcance político. Apesar do seu empenho na defesa dos cabo-verdianos contra a opressão colonial portuguesa, aqueles intelectuais não conseguiriam gerar um movimento anti-colonial capaz de conduzir a colónia à independência, mas deixaram às novas gerações um legado político e cultural que lhes permitiu assegurar a luta pela preservação da sua identidade nacional e, finalmente, alcançar a emancipação de Cabo Verde da dominação colonial.
