Mr. Pleddall states that he has just heard from James Carlaw that George is to sell and move to Boston. William Macklem wants to see him, if he is not gone. There is no mention of George’s last name. It is noted within the body of the letter that the post office is closed and 5 cents are enclosed to pay for the letter.
