The aim of this study was to verify the reliability of the Brazilian Portuguese version of the instrument Cerebral Palsy: quality of life questionnaire for children: primary caregiver questionnaire (CP QOLChild: primary caregiver) translated and culturally adapted. Thus, the translation and cultural adaptation of the instrument was made, and then the procedures to verify its reliability were performed. The translated and culturally adapted questionnaire was answered by 30 caregivers of children with cerebral palsy and inter and intra-observer analysis followed. The data allowed the authors to identify an internal consistency rangering from 0.649 to 0.858, intra-observer reliability from 0.625 to 0.809 and inter-observer reliability from 0.498 to 0.903. The analysis suggests that the instrument has acceptable psychometry.

Esse texto resultado das análises preliminares do projeto de pesquisa intitulado: Literatura infantil e a presena da criana negra: uma análise dos livros de literatura infantil recomendados pelo Programa Nacional Biblioteca da Escola (PNBE) de 2010, que tem como objetivo analisar a presena dos personagens negros nos livros de literatura infantil recomendados pelo Programa Nacional Biblioteca Escolar (PNBE) no ano de 2010, com o objetivo de compreender como as crianas do primeiro e do quinto ano do ensino fundamental I veem a presena do personagem negro na literatura infantil. A escolha pela srie inicial e pela srie final do ensino fundamental I tem a inteno de investigar se as percepes acerca dos personagens negros so diferentes ao decorrer do processo escolar, ou seja, analisar se as crianas pequenas possuem representaes diferentes das crianas maiores. Por tratar-se da proposio de uma pesquisa de tipo etnogrfico, sero realizadas observaes para analisar e interpretar aspectos da literatura infantil veiculada na escola, entrevista semiestruturada para compreender como as crianas vem a presena do personagem negro na literatura infantil, reviso bibliogrfica e análise dos livros de literatura infantil recomendados pelo Programa Nacional Biblioteca Escolar (PNBE) de 2010. Foi escolhido o ltimo ano do programa com o intuito de analisar as obras que esto em circulao atualmente.

The practice of teaching is a complex, dynamic and challenging. Several obstacles are faced by educators, among them, excessive workload, classrooms with large numbers of students, reducing the support team manager etc. These experiences call into question the belief that such teachers have in their own ability to teach and motivate your students, including those with the greatest difficulties. Studies show that this belief, called self-efficacy, mediates the action of teachers and are related to the goals, persistence and motivation of teachers. The teacher self-efficacy is formed by direct experience, by observation, persuasion and psychophysiological states. The objective of the study is to identify aspects of the formation of self-efficacy teacher in-service teacher. This is a documentary study, after online search using the keywords memorials training and school as keywords, was found eight jobs at the State University of Campinas, two of which were dropped from the analysis due to not meeting the pre-established criteria. The data were organized into spreadsheets for analysis specifically designed for the study, considering the theoretical framework proposed by Bandura (1997) and Tschannen-Moran & Woolfolk Hoy (2001). The results indicate that family support throughout schooling, the role of teachers as models from basic education and teaching experiences are widely cited in memorials analyzed. These results offer from further reflections, indicating contribute to discussions on the formation and performance of teachers regarding the ability to teach, especially in the early years of elementary school

This work is a study and a repost on a possible way that can be worked together Mathematics and Native Language, presenting activities for the middle school, trying to make teaching more interesting, dynamic and playful. The work presents proposal for activities based on stories from the book O Homem que calculava by Malba Tahan, with questionnaires to be answered by the students and guidance for teachers on how to apply these activities in the classroom. Applications of these activities were carried out and this work also includes analysis and records of them

Neste trabalho analisamos a experimentao didtica no ensino de Cincias, discutindo possibilidades didticas e implicaes. Para tal, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliogrfica e análise da experincia didtica pessoal da autora, num vis qualitativo de caractersticas autoetnogrficas da atividade docente em si. Foram analisados os projetos de aulas de Cincias elaborados tendo em vista uma sala do 5 ano do ensino fundamental I, com diferentes estratgias didticas, tendo como foco as experincias: (a) a construo de um terrrio, (b) a construo de um filtro de gua e (c) um experimento sobre eroso do solo e (d) a realizao de um experimento sobre reciclagem. A análise permite considerar que a experimentao didtica pode fomentar um ambiente mais ldico, com possveis implicaes positivas para o interesse dos alunos pelo aprendizado de Cincias e, sobretudo, para o enriquecimento das atividades de ensino

Cartography is one of the languages that express the knowledge of the geographic space and, therefore, the official curriculum proposals have highlighted the importance of the geography teaching which articulates its contents with this language in primary education. So, we present an analysis of the content selected to the curriculum mapping specifications of the So Paulo faz escola material, specifically for the 6th year of Elementary School II, version 2009. From the perspective of qualitative research, with instruments and techniques of quantitative and qualitative research, we analyzed documents and observed little concern with the proposition works that present the physical and social characteristics of the state of So Paulo. Also, we noticed the lack of concern with representations in local and regional scales. The research brings many examples on the global scale. It explores few activities using graphics and charts. Despite bringing thematic maps in their entirety, it does not show an example of conical projection as well as cartograms and anamorphosis. Furthermore, the trend of a technicist education is announced in the document

This research work aims to analyze and understand the teaching of geography in the perspective of historical and critical pedagogy, with the object of analysis, the Center for Integrated Natural Disaster Alerts (CIADEN) for students in Cycle I of the Elementary School, located in Etec Astor de Mattos Carvalho, in Cabrlia Paulista-SP. Deepening the knowledge of geography teaching in a critical and controversial about the bad weather and the use of new technologies to transform the social order and its relationship with the environment. Contributing to the students and the community have a new proposal for action from the content learned, capable of solving the present and future with respect to weather, climate and natural disasters. Poucos so os professores que tiveram a oportunidade de vivenciar em sua formao atividades envolvendo a construo de mapas conceituais. Essa ferramenta, elaborada e difundida por Joseph Novak na dcada de 70, de fundamental importncia para a organizao de elementos necessrios aprendizagem, pois possibilita ao aluno articular ideias e associar novas informaes a conhecimentos estudados anteriormente permitindo ao professor utiliz-lo tambm como um importante instrumento na avaliao da aprendizagem. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar a concepo dos professores do Ensino Fundamental sobre a utilizao dos mapas conceituais como forma de organizar, avaliar e facilitar a aprendizagem dos alunos, bem como verificar quantos os utilizam em sua prtica pedaggica. Para a realizao do estudo, foram feitas pesquisa bibliogrfica, buscando fundamentao terico-metodolgica e pesquisa de campo descritiva com aplicao de questionrio aos professores de seis escolas municipais dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental no municpio de Bauru, com perguntas fechadas de mltipla escolha, para levantar informaes acerca do conhecimento dos professores sobre o assunto. Aps o questionrio, foi realizado o acompanhamento das aulas de um dos participantes para observar, descrever, analisar e discutir a metodologia adotada na realizao do seu trabalho. Para a análise e a interpretao dos dados coletados, foi empregada abordagem qualiquantitativa e extraram-se inferncias dos resultados. Os resultados indicam que ainda incipiente a aplicabilidade dos mapas conceituais nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Sugerimos que este tema seja abordado em cursos de Formao continuada dos docentes

This research analyzed if the interactions between teacher and student, and among students, with the use of manipulative materials in the Mathematics teaching in a middle school class and provided the comprehension of the subjects worked. The analysis of the results was based in Vygotskys socio-historical theory, that prioritizes the interactions in learning-teaching process. The results of this research showed that these interactions mediated by the use of such materials provide the student with the motivation needed to take part in the math classes as an active actor in his development process, as well as understanding the concepts

Researches show high rates of school failure on the part of students who are unable to learn, referring to them as the idea of an incapable individual and intended not to achieve the goals proposed during the school year. Among the most varied problems posed by teachers and that are instilled in students in order to justify the poor performance of the same, we find Disorder Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Faced with this problem the objective was to investigate teachers conception of the second year of primary education on ADHD, knowing well the mechanisms of identification, confirmation and referral of these cases, as well as the appropriate treatment and teaching practices suggested. To achieve the proposed objective a literature search was performed supplemented by an empirical study in which we used two instruments to collect data: interviews and observation. The study included empirical two teachers from a state school and two teachers from a private school, all of a midsize city in So Paulo. The interviews showed that teachers of second grade of elementary school consider ADHD a neurological problem in order to be addressed, however, chose not to speak about the treatment carried out by drugs. The observations revealed that the discourse of these teachers are away from their practices, it is worth noting that the differences in these two situations studied - state and private network - are so disparate and interfere in this important teaching practice

The topic in this work involving the resolution of problems with structure multiplicativa emerged from discussions carried out on the difficulties encountered by students of the first cycle of the Fundamental School in Mathematics, mainly in respect of the arithmetic. The research had as objective to investigate the main difficulties presented by these students when they are faced with a task for a resolution of problems with multiplicativa structure. Were participants, in the first stage of the study, 20 students of the fifth year of the Fundamental School of a state school of public education of the State of Sao Paulo. These students have an assessment containing ten problems with structure multiplicativa answered a questionnaire regarding of mathematics. In the second stage, were selected two students to participate in the think aloud. The data analysis showed that the difficulties presented by the participants were: 1- difficulty to read and interpret the set of problems; 2- select the operation correct; 3- to operate correctly; 4 Trouble writing
