Urban health: l'irrémédiable urbanisation de la vie et de la médecine [Urban health: the irremediable urbanization of life and medicine].

Since 2007, the number of people living in cities exceeds that of rural areas. Thus, cities and their organizations have a major influence on all spheres of human life, especially health. This influence may generate inequality, suffering and disease, but also represent an opportunity for health and well-being. This paper introduces the concept of urban health, particularly in terms of primary care medicine and presents solutions that encompass a wide field (politics, urban planning, social inequality, education). Improving urban health requires collaboration of medical with non-medical actors, in order to become of development (re-) urban structure and promotes the health of all.

Recent progress in medicine allow to provide treatment, to cure or to extend the lifespan of people that would have not survived before. Doctors and healthcare providers have become indispensable actors in Western societies. This is particularly true for children's health issues. With the new information technologies, knowledge is now available to everyone, which enables patients to dialog on an equal footing with the physician. Nowadays, therapeutic choices are discussed and negotiated. The new tensions caused by this relationship between therapist and patient have created the need for new regulations. The Swiss Confederation has modified its Civil Code with the objective of a better protection of vulnerable individuals. This article summarizes the consequences of the new regulations with regard to the care and treatment provided to children.

L'article veut montrer à quel point le cinéma est d'abord une fiction de mots pour Blaise Cendrars, qui fut pourtant assistant d'Abel Gance, figurant, scénariste et même réalisateur. Le cinéma fut une passion, un art nouveau perçu comme LE révélateur de l'âme humaine. Aucun film ne subsiste parmi les archives, alors que les projets rédigés sont nombreux.
