Este trabalho examina a representação das cidades na obra de Woody Allen. No intuito de compreender a saída do cineasta patrimônio da cidade de Nova York para a Europa, retoma-se criticamente a questão da Era da Lista Negra, das runaway productions e dos blockbusters. Para analisar os filmes de Allen na Europa considera-se importante entender como a cidade de Nova York configura-se no início da carreira do diretor, notadamente, em filmes que estabelecem um contraponto entre o Brooklyn e Manhattan. Em seguida, examina-se a questão crítica fundamental do trabalho: o cartão-postal corporativo na Europa. Nesse sentido, propõe-se a análise dos cartões-postais de Barcelona, Paris e Roma. O filme Vicky Cristina Barcelona adquire centralidade nesta pesquisa por apresentar de maneira exemplar a paisagem postiça da cidade encarcerada sob intervenção corporativa.

This article studies the services exchanged in a particular Spanish time bank. Using data from users and transactions, we analyse the users’ profile as well as the determinants of providing and receiving different services. Our results show that the representative user is a Spanish female, not married, middle aged, highly educated and unemployed. We also find differences in the personal characteristics driving the supply and demand of services.

This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: The "centennial" postal statistical map of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut : showing railroads, post routes and offices together with population and valuation of cities and towns. It compiled and published by M.G. Cook and Frank O. Ellis in 1876. Scale [ca. 1:422,400]. Covers also portions of New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the USA Contiguous Albers Equal Area Conic projection (Meters). All map collar and inset information is also available as part of the raster image, including any inset maps, profiles, statistical tables, directories, text, illustrations, or other information associated with the principal map. This map shows features such as railroads, post routes and offices together with population and valuation of cities and towns, distances between post offices, drainage, state, county, and town boundaries, and more. Includes table of population and valuation by county and cities of Boston and vicinity, and table of distances. This layer is part of a selection of digitally scanned and georeferenced historic maps of New England from the Harvard Map Collection. These maps typically portray both natural and manmade features. The selection represents a range of regions, originators, ground condition dates, scales, and purposes.

This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: Post office plan of London. It was published by Ja.s Wyld in 1843. Scale [ca. 1:16,830]. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the British National Grid coordinate system (British National Grid, Airy Spheroid OSGB (1936) Datum). All map collar and inset information is also available as part of the raster image, including any inset maps, profiles, statistical tables, directories, text, illustrations, index maps, legends, or other information associated with the principal map.
