This academic report presents results of the research developed between 2012 and 2015, and it had as main goal the development of new mapping possibilities of the central areas of the cities of Marília/SP, São Carlos/SP and São José do Rio Preto/SP. We developed this research using mostly the database from Cadastro Nacional de Endereços Para Fins Estatísticos (CNEFE), and after processing the information, it was added the typology established in the Cadastro Nacional de Atividades Econômicas (CNAE). This database, after the final treatment process, provided us information that made possible the production of thematic maps which are used to study central areas, allowing the analysis of spatial logics of companies, the identification of concentration and dispersion of economic activities, arrangement of specialized axis, expansion of the central area, reorganization of the city, among other process and phenomena

In this work we studied the urban movement of an important avenue of the city of Guaratingueta, in the Vale do Paraíba, State of Sao Paul, which is the Avenida João Pessoa, located in the Pedregulho neighborhood. Through literature review on this topic, we could contribute to the understanding of car culture in Brazilian cities.Through research on the history of this neighborhood, and said avenue, interviews with the passers-by and also via site visits, we analyzed the situation of urban traffic of Avenida João Pessoa. Cidade média de limiar superior: um estudo a partir de Ribeirão Preto (SP)

This papper aims to discuss Ribeirão Preto as a switched-over intermediate city classification, contrastating with the concept of Metropolitan Region of Ribeirão Preto. The agribusiness sector will be analysed as the main responsible for the representation of Ribeirão Preto city as an Agribusiness Center. Due to this fact, Sertãozinho city example will be presented as Agribusiness City, where acctually concentrates the agro-industrial complex of sugarcane production, while Ribeirão Preto is in fact centralizes management activities. According to the balance of trade analysis, other elements showed up and fortifies the role of this cities. These elements unfolded the analysis of higher education guideline and shopping malls. We also analyzed the urban network of Ribeirão Preto under the concept of the Região de Influência das Cidades (REGIC) and the creation of the project Metropolitan Region of Ribeirão Preto in order to strengthen the central hypothesis as a switched-over medium sized city. Determinação de áreas prioritárias para conservação na zona de amortecimento de UC de proteção integral: o caso da Estação Ecológica de Ribeirão Preto, SP

Observa-se como estratégia mundial para a conservação da biodiversidade a criação de unidades de conservação. No Brasil, especificamente no Estado de São Paulo, devido a intensa degradação da Mata Atlântica, verifica-se a criação de unidades de proteção integral, a fim de se preservar de modo restrito os recursos naturais que ainda lhe restam. Na cidade de Ribeirão Preto, uma região com alto desempenho agrícola e intensa expansão urbana, constata-se a presença de uma Estação Ecológica (EERP), fragmento florestal de 154,16 ha, altamente isolado e fragmentado. Assim, a EERP e sua zona de amortecimento (ZA) vêm sendo fortemente pressionada pela expansão urbana e agrícola da região, comprometendo a sua integridade ecossistêmica. Dentre os impactos negativos gerados destacam-se: alta especulação imobiliária e o intenso cultivo de monoculturas, que contribuem para a degradação do solo nas regiões do entorno. A fim de se reduzir tais impactos, o presente trabalho buscou apresentar um prognóstico de planejamento ambiental para a ZA da EERP, a qual se encontra altamente impactada, segundo os critérios definidos por Ranieri (2004). We aim to contribute to studies on the restructuring of the city with a focus on consumption. In the context where cities become the main place of action of man, a deep set of transformations has occurred. We are interested in understanding the redefinition of the logical production and appropriation of urban spaces for consumption of materials and services. For the analysis of delimitation of those commercial and service areas was made to compare the reality observed on the ground and indirectly through data acquisition and mapping obtained from the National Address List for Statistical Purposes, with the boundaries established by zoning and / or by municipal director plans of the cities studied, together with the classification of commercial establishments and in accordance with the standards of the National Classification of Economic Activities Services. Educação sexual e sexualidade no discurso de uma pessoa com deficiência visual

Sexuality and sex education for visually impaired people are still a few subjects studied in the field of Education. The aim of this study was to investigate sexuality and sex education of the visually impaired, through an interview with an adult woman, blind from birth, for further analysis of thematic content. It is a descriptive-qualitative case study. The following categories were described in the results: (1) Concept of sexuality, (2) Sexual Education, (3) Sexuality and Disability, (4) Social issues and prejudice. The data confirm other studies showing the existence of social prejudice, sexual myths, no sex education or sex education with superficial information and difficulties predominantly psychosocial and not organic in relation to sexuality. We conclude that sexuality and sex education are important issues that should be considered in the general education of people with disabilities.

Relatos sobre o cotidiano da população pobre e o princípio constitucional da dignidade da pessoa humana

The paper demonstrates the magnitude of the constitutional statement of the dignity of the human person subscribed to the Federal Constitution of 1988 as a fundamental principle. Next, it brings reports on quality of life of residents of Vila Esperança, in the municipality of Cubatão (SP), from an ethnographic approach, descriptive and photographic documentation. We could conclude that the Brazilian legal system is organized hierarchically, so the Principle of Human Dignity cannot be disregard. The vital guarantee of a minimum vital floor is essential for poor people to expand the possibilities for the full exercise of human dignity.

O objeto transicional pode ser uma pessoa? teoria e clínica

The objective of this work is to answer the question posed in the title, based on the texts of D. W. Winnicott. To this effect we addressed the origins of the concept of transitional object in the author’s work, the chronology of its first appearances, direct references to the topic and a discussion of a clinical case. Winnicott rarely referred to a person as being another person’s transitional object, and when he did so, he situated this experience in the field of pathology, and when referring to it, used such terms as “comforter object”, “fetish object” and “regressive object”. In contrast, the concept of transitional object is linked to an experience indicative of mental health, of transition between fusion and mother-baby separation, and of the personal and symbolic use of objects of the sensory field. Maintaining this conceptual specificity enables us to discriminate nuances in the evolution of the use of material objects by the child, and helps to guide anamnesis, diagnosis and the therapeutic process.
