The experimentation in the teaching of physics has been extensively studied over the years because of its potential as a tool demonstration of physics phenomena studied in classroom. In such a perspective view of the action of apprentice student involving teaching future teachers of physics, under the Program PIBID CAPES, developed since 2009, seeks ways to improve the teaching of physics experiments using the theme chosen for the electrostatic work was . Climate change in tropical countries, like Brazil, causes major problems in dairy production due to an increase of heat stress effects. In recent years, milk production in Brazil increased 36.07%. The Southeast region remains a leader in production with herds of high producing Holstein cattle (mostly), which is more susceptible to heat stress. Thermal stress decreases fertility in direct and indirect ways. Conception rates are reduced of 40-60% during cooler months of the year and 10-20% in the warmer months. Negative effects of heat stress involve changes in reproductive hormones, follicular development, oocytes, and embryos, and decreased dry matter intake. Several studies discuss change in reproductive hormones, such as reduction in plasma concentration of GnRH, LH, and oestradiol, which lead to decreased detection of estrus and ovulation. Various methods are being studied to bypass these negative effects and increase the fertility of dairy cows under heat stress. Cooling systems are the most advantageous and can be associated with technologies such as ET and TAI

Os professores e o consumo de projetos que chegam à escola: o caso do Projeto Lego Education

O estudo proposto focaliza o modo como os professores recebem, consomem e se apropriam de projetos educativos que são implementados nas escolas de ensino fundamental. Trata-se de um estudo de caso que focaliza a implementação, iniciada em 2008, do Projeto Lego Education em escolas de uma rede municipal de ensino no interior paulista. A implementação do referido projeto insere-se em um contexto mais amplo marcado pelo crescimento de um “rentável mercado formativo” (Nóvoa, 1999) entre nós atualmente. Diante desse contexto, surge uma questão: Como foi, para os professores daquela rede de ensino, a inserção do Projeto Lego Education em seu trabalho docente e como os mesmos lidam com o projeto atualmente? Para tentar responder a essa questão o presente estudo foi realizado com os professores que foram capacitados e atuaram na implementação do projeto, a partir de entrevistas semi-estruturadas e observações. Objetivou-se investigar como o referido projeto foi apropriado (de Certeau, 1994) pelos professores na sua implementação e como os mesmos percebem o projeto atualmente. Pretendeu-se identificar, assim, maneiras pelas quais os professores relacionam-se com materiais didáticos, livros/guias do professor e cursos de capacitação docente ligados ao Projeto Lego Education, procurando caracterizar as maneiras como os mesmos se apropriam e consomem (de Certeau, 1994) tais produtos que lhes são dirigidos. Nesse estudo foi realizada também a análise de documentos relacionados ao Projeto Lego Education (sites das empresas envolvidas, manuais e revistas, entre outros materiais), focando em como esses materiais se referem ao professor e sua prática em sala de aula. O futebol sobre a ótica do tema transversal trabalho e consumo

The cross-cutting themes, which are characteristic express concepts and values of citizenship and correspond to important and urgent issues to society, should be treated within the school context , for all disciplines . Just like football, specific content of physical education, which most often is approached only by the technical and tactical aspects. The aim of this study was to analyze football from the perspective of labor and consumption and to propose activities for teachers to this content and theme in physical education classes. We investigated, in particular, the influence brands, media and the effect of the globalization phenomenon in this sport, and later thematic activities. The methodology used was qualitative type, which is from a thick description of the details about the situation analyzed and evaluated. In the first step a literature survey was conducted to understand and analyze the topic of this work. In the second, the activities were prepared, with the teacher ways to treat football from the perspective of labor and consumption from the themes presented in the goal. The activities were directed to students in the 9th grade of elementary school. Um método para reconstrução de superfícies baseado em nuvem de pontos visando representações em multirresolução

The representation of real objects in virtual environments has applications in many areas, such as cartography, mixed reality and reverse engineering. The generation of these objects can be performed in two ways: manually, with CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools, or automatically, by means of surface reconstruction techniques. The simpler the 3D model, the easier it is to process and store it. Multiresolution reconstruction methods can generate polygonal meshes in different levels of detail and, to improve the response time of a computer program, distant objects can be represented with few details, while more detailed models are used in closer objects. Efeito do Estrôncio (Sr) no tratamento de modificação do eutético da liga Al-1%Si

This study aimed to analyze the cooling curves, micro and macrograph alloy Al-1 %Si without the addition of strontium modifier and with the addition of the same. One of the ways of improving mechanical properties of alloy Al -Si is through the modification process. For the experiments two billets of the alloy Al-1%Si cast iron mold in a billet with addition of 0.02% strontium by weight, and the other billet without the addition of modifier were fused. In the solidification process of billet temperature was monitored and recorded every second for later plotting in Origin 8 program and analyzes the cooling curves obtained. The billets were cut and passed by grinding and polishing to perform the macrograph and micrographs. The results concerning the macrograph indicated that billet without the addition of Strontium particle size obtained was more refined than the billet where the strontium modifier was added. Regarding the micrograph, photos stemmed from the optical microscope didn´t show the expected modification effect by the addition of Strontium. This suggests that the low amount of silicon (1 %) present in the alloy used in this study interfered in the change process, because according to the literature review, Strontium 0.022 % by weight is sufficient to fully modify an alloy with 7% Silicon. The results from the cooling curve showed that both the eutectic temperature and the solidification time remained unchanged with the addition of strontium

Avaliação da influência da esterilização por radiação gama nas propriedades mecânicas, estruturais e na biocompatibilidade de matrizes híbridas orgânico-inorgânicas

Atualmente, as pesquisas acadêmicas e industriais não estão voltadas apenas para a descoberta de novos fármacos, mas também para novas maneiras de administração de medicamentos pretendendo obter melhores ações farmacológicas alem de reduzir efeitos colaterais. Partindo deste pressuposto, estudos demonstram que inúmeras moléculas podem ser incorporadas a polímeros híbridos orgânico-inorgânico preparados pelo processo sol-gel, assim pretende-se estudar a possibilidade de sua aplicação no desenvolvimento de um dispositivo de liberação controlada de fármacos na forma de implantes subcutâneos. As matrizes hibridas para serem implantadas devem, necessariamente, ser estéreis. Para isto este trabalho analisa a interação entre o processo de esterilização e uma provável alteração estrutural nestes polímeros. A esterilização por calor úmido em autoclave e a esterilização por radiação gama foram escolhidas para analisar a correlação entre alteração estrutural do hibrido e o processo de eliminação de microorganismos. Outro aspecto que levamos em consideração foi a melhora das características mecânicas das matrizes poliméricas confeccionadas com poli óxido etileno de peso molecular 1900 (POE 1900) e poli óxido propileno de peso molecular 400 (POP 400). Para serem implantadas estas matrizes devem estar uniformes, e não podem trincar ou quebrar antes ou após a implantação. The number of piping in an industry is high. Through this piping are conducted several kind of products at several temperature and pressure conditions. In a chemical company, the piping quantity conducting harmful chemical products to human health and to the environment is higher. Nowadays the theme sustainability is often mentioned and harm to environment may cause irreversible damage to the human being, to the fauna, to the flora and to company´s credibility. In this context, controlling over the piping to avoid accidents is mandatory. The objective of this monograph is to create a procedure which enables the chemical companies piping traceability. This monograph analyses the several existent traceability system in the three economy sectors and approaches the technical question of industrial piping in order to create a procedure that achieves its objectives as a technical document and at the same time be economically feasible, with low complexibility level and high practicability. Some possibilities to elaborate this procedure had been studied, as the creation of an alphanumeric code and making with a chisel in the pipeline based on ASTM F2897 and the use of chips to store the information. The technological advances of recent decades combined with digital inc1usion in Brazil sparked the country's population to the constant use of computers to perform tasks in many different natures. Whether it's for communication, entertainment, work or school, computers are tools with increasing numbers in Brazilian homes. Along with this evolution the Brazilian Physics teaching should be aware of the use of teaching tools that relate directly to the computer to student learning. Highlighting in this work we have scanned the contents of the Wikipedia community, a wide variety of educational videos placed on YouTube, educational games that try to teach the player in a fun way and a variety educational softwares placed on the World Wide Web. It is with special attention to educational softwares as tools for teaching physics, which describe some strategies for use of these software, combined with the textbooks, to illustrate some ways to introduce the use of educational softwares directly in the classroom

Estudo da influência da aplicação do fluido de corte no torneamento da liga de alumínio AA7075

One of the ways to minimize the effects of unproductive time caused by tool wear can be achieved by introducing an efficient system of lubrication and cooling in the process. However, in the last decade the research had the goal to restrict the maximum use of refrigerants and / or lubricants in metal-mechanical production. The important factors that justify this procedure include the operational costs of production, ecological issues, and the legal requirements of environmental conservation and preservation of human health. The purpose of the proposed work is the study of machining by turning with the focus on the influence caused by the application of cutting fluid in several ways of application (abundant and MQF) and also by comparing the results obtained by machining without the presence of fluid . For this purpose, the turning tests are conducted using an aluminum alloy (AA 7075). The response variables to be analyzed were obtained from the roughness (Ra and Ry), the stresses presented (VB) and their progression in relation to the cutting length achieved, the type of chip formed, in addition to changes in the degree of finish (roughness) presented by the turned parts. The results of this study should provide more detailed information about the actual influence of cutting fluids in turning this alloy, which are characterized by high rates of deformation when the formation of damaging your chip machining and also the quality of surface generated. Therefore, it is expected to provide subsidies to promote the optimization of machining this alloy making the most of the role of cutting fluid

In this context, a new way of thinking and producing dwellings, closed horizontal residential condominiums, with its beginnings in the United States. Currently, these also appear as a trend in Brazil. Their deployment has generated both social and spatial problems, since the production and consumption of urban space are given in different ways in different social classes. This process began in the 1970s and was unique to metropolitan areas until the 1980s, when it began to achieve medium-sized cities. Thus, highlighting some points, such as the production and consumption of urban space and the construction of condominiums in average Brazilian cities, this paper aims to describe and analyze the dynamics of residential condominiums in the city of Itu (SP)

Melhoria do nível de serviço no atendimento ao cliente por meio da estrutura direta de distribuição Transit Point

Increasingly competitive markets have driven the search for companies in many different ways to win and keep customers. The service level is basically the performance of companies in fulfilling the orders made, or how companies demonstrate to their clients efforts in their behalf. This work aims to solve the difficulties faced by a multinational company present in Brazil, in the distribution of its products in the category Ice Cream in order to improve the service level of their customers. Review the logistics network and concepts related to the distribution system of products is one of several ways to achieve this goal, as well as the use of IT and tools to assist in planning and programming of the physical distribution of products. In this study we used the concept of direct distribution system called Transit Point (TP). The TP provides at the same time, a strategy of rapid response, flexibility, low transportation costs and no inventory. A router - software capable of simulating the actual conditions experienced in the daily distribution - was used to assist in calculations. Results showed reductions of up to 47.5% in transportation costs and better conditions were provided in the distribution of products, positively impacting on service levels and in the maintenance of products quality, with a reduction of 1.6% of the total costs involve
