O presente trabalho tem como objetivo geral analisar como ocorre a intertextualidade dos escritores T. S. Eliot, James Joyce, Robert Stock, Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman e Ezra Pound, na obra de Mário Faustino. De acordo com autores como Bosi (1994) e Benedito Nunes (1985), a poesia de Faustino resulta da soma de poetas que ele leu, em diferentes momentos, tais como: Mallarmé, Yeats, Rilke, cummings, Joyce e Pound, deste último se utilizou do lema “repetir para aprender, criar para renovar”. O lema de Pound remete direta ou indiretamente à presença de outros autores em alguns poemas de Faustino. Mas este fato sempre foi tratado com poucas comprovações práticas. Assim, estabelecemos alguns parâmetros para escolher quais autores seriam analisados: utilizaremos somente autores anglófonos e, dentre eles, apenas autores que Faustino traduziu em suplementos literários e em uma revista. Partindo desse princípio, os autores foram distribuídos em dois momentos que definimos como ciclos: o ciclo-norte, o qual abrangeu o suplemento Arte-Literatura e a revista Norte; e o ciclo-sudeste, o qual abrangeu o suplemento Poesia-Experiência. Em ambos os ciclos, procuramos meios que nos permitissem mostrar que determinados autores estão presentes na obra de Faustino, seja por meio da criação de novos poemas com base em um poema de um autor anglófono ou por meio da incorporação de elementos característicos de determinado escritor também anglófono. Para esta pesquisa utilizamos alguns autores como: Chaves (1986) Kristeva (1974) e Bakhtin (2003; 2006), Santiago (1978), Nunes (1985; 1986; 1997; 2009) e Campos (1977; 1992). Percebemos, de acordo com Compagnon (2007), como ocorre o trabalho de reconstrução da escrita, neste caso na análise entre as traduções realizadas por Mário Faustino e os poemas dele, no qual cada etapa é um liame de uma imensa trama que liga este texto a outros lidos e “recortados”, que é manipulado por um indivíduo, ao mesmo tempo, autor e leitor (Faustino). Assim, o autor/leitor, possuiu como prática a tarefa de citar, ou seja, redizer o que já havia sido dito por outros.

This article points out some elements required for comprehending the work mensagem for marimba solo (2011) by Herivelto Brandino in regard to its compositional process and performance. The text shows how various materials have been chosen for the confection of the work - mainly those related to the act of writing texts - and approaches the composer's queries about the non-necessity, and even the uselessness of composition, performance and artistic objects themselves. At the end we conclude that regardless such a supposed non-necessity of any musical object it is possible to construct a coherent piece based on similar paradoxes that, at first, served to make any compositional work useless.

Introduction: We sought to evaluate the risk factors that may increase the propensity to use licit and illicit drugs among students at a public university. Methods: The project involved students (n = 268) enrolled in the first and fourth years of courses in the areas of the social and biological sciences at a public university. Data collection was conducted by means of self-administered, semistructured questionnaires, based on such standardized assessment instruments as Audit, Assist, Cage and Duse. Collected data were analyzed quantitatively by calculating the percentages and evaluating the data in terms of categories of risk, classifying them by age, gender, religion, schooling, use (before or after entering university) and contexts of use. By means of this survey the researchers were able to correlate the use of drugs to the risk factors that might increase the students’ propensity to use these substances. Results: The results revealed a high proportion of current drug-using students, but showed no significant differences between the first and fourth year students as regards contexts of use. However, 67% of students regarded the university environment as encouraging the use of drugs. Students pointed to such major risk factors as friends’ and fellow-students’ influence, university parties, excessive curiosity and desire to experiment. Conclusion: Due to the high rate of drug use among university students, by the determination of the risk factors related to the university environment and also knowing that the process of addiction is one of growing chemical dependence, the importance of the development and implementation of public health policies at all levels, especially in terms of approaches and specific interventions addressing this population, should be noted.

Greimas Semiotic offers procedures for the analysis of different types of texts and discourses. For this reason, this study aimed to analyze the production of sense from scientific discourse, explained by Greimas Semiotics and Generative Sense Course, seeking to develop a new perspective on the identification of aboutness in Documentary Content Analysis and Information Science. The method used was exploratory and bibliographic review. Results show that the analysis of scientific discourse contributes to the identification of aboutness in Documentary Content Analysis, using Greimas Semiotics and Generative Sense Course.

The documentary representation in indexing is carried out, at first, in the analysis of subjects to establish the intrinsic and extrinsic aboutness, and then, in the translation stage using the documentary language. The representation by concepts for determining the intrinsic aboutness during the subject analysis is shown by the Documentary Reading Model for indexing of scientific texts and books, Therefore, it was carried out a search on documentary reading for cataloguers for indexing books in academic libraries. A research on catalogers’ documentary reading for indexing books was carried out in nine university libraries. The application of the introspective technique of Individual Verbal Protocol with the catalogers allowed an analysis of subject cataloguing procedures, which made it possible to verify the textual structure parts of a book, as well as to locate the terms identified and selected. The results led to an adaptation of the Documentary Reading Model to book indexing.

This paper describes a 3D virtual lab environment that was developed using OpenSim software integrated into Moodle. Virtuald software tool was used to provide pedagogical support to the lab by enabling to create online texts and delivering them to the students. The courses taught in this virtual lab are methodologically in conformity to theory of multiple intelligences. Some results are presented.

This work tries to outline the theoretical background established by archival science manuals, based mainly on discourse analysis as a key discipline to understand which the differences are and points of conceptual commonality in archival science traditions studied that to some extent, are additional. As archival science is a product of historically constructed knowledge, the context of conceptual production ultimately reflects in the different schools of thought and in the methodological approach. The manuals discussed here were selected by their canon and their wide dissemination in the archival science field, and are: the Manual for the arrangement and description of archives of the Association of Dutch Archivists (1898), and Jenkinson's A manual of archive administration including the problems of war archives and archive making. We considered how in these manuals two key concepts are discussed as for organization methodology in archival science: description and classification, establishing, from these concepts, which are the intertwined discourses in these texts and relating them to their historical aspects.

The work aims to analyse the concept of economics as the science of scarcity is distorced in the newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo. Neoclassical economists characterize the economy as the science that is concerned with the welfare of the people, satisfying their needs. However, the economy in the newspapers of the mainstream media appears in contexts where only the profit of companies and businesses are addressed, leaving aside the problem of economic inequality, unemployment, working conditions and other issues that are also part of economy, but they are hardly concerns of journalists. In this work, the object of study was the notebook Market and content analysis followed the criteria of Bardin (1977). Ten words were chosen in the category science of scarcity and ten words were chosen in the category science of abundance. From these categories, a careful reading was done, counting how many times each word appeared in the newspaper. Also paid attention to the words that appeared and contexts in which they fell journalistic genre. In a second step, interviews were conducted with journalists from economics to know what they mean by the economy and what the guidelines are more common. Data collection and interviews contributed to the interpretation and confirmation on whether or not the distortion of the concept of economy and how it happens

The translation project of some short stories of the book Piccoli equivoci senza importanza, written by the Italian writer Antonio Tabucchi, was performed during the academic years. This thesis target is to analyze grammatical and stylistic issues of the short stories; to achieve this goal, parts of the original texts and their respective translations were used. The grammar section approaches important aspects as idioms, false cognates and different verb regencies between Portuguese and Italian. The stylistic part focuses on Tabucchi´s choices regarding the narrator, focalization, types of speech and interior monologues in his texts; these options characterize the Italian writer´s style and make his stories plots intense. As a conclusion it can be noticed that this work is relevant to give a forward step in the Italian literature studies field, because it contributes to an important author style study and provides the analysis of which choices compound the text and the effects they cause

Way in the theme of the story of my life and training and electingchildhood as a guide in the works of Benjamin. Narrating a series of reflections on childhood and experience, taking for reading and interpretation of aphorisms that make up my childhood and training as a fellow researcher, a full text simultaneously, is juxtaposed with other texts and authors, intertwining with Benjamin, memory and history in my narrative, in a singular moment, an event. In this course highlight the place ofexperience and their languages, between the know-how, andknowing how to express thinking about childhood and educationevent in the making, which announces the issue of impoverishment and destitution of the experience of life ineducational practice, indicating the possibility resume thembetween school knowledge and practices through different view of childhood and the event, as a teacher. I will continue outliningmy experience in research groups choosing the language and itsinterfaces specifically with art cinema / pictures in the construction of our subjectivity in postmodernity. The methodology is qualitative, will take place within what we call the ethical self. Transcendence is an act and not a process, and yetas an overshooting of history is always historically situated and,therefore, has a concrete context.
