Murilo Mendes, Francis Ponge e o poema em prosa

The present paper aims to discuss the configuration of the prose poem both in the works of Murilo Mendes' Poliedro (1972) and Francis Ponge's Le parti pris des choses (1942). From the beginning, the similarity between both works is explained by the impulse of focusing on daily objects and also the diverse positioning of the lyrical subjects in Murilo Mendes (less objective) and Francis Ponge (more objective) when they establish a relation with the simple things they wish to marvel. In accordance, the form of the prose poem helps to build this specific and singular view of the objects. Using this background to dialogue with the critical scholarly resources on both writers, we briefly analyse some poems and set out to reflect on the prose poem, which holds the works of the Brazilian and the French poets open to comparison.

Reconhecimento de voz para aplicações em automação implementado em FPGA

In many movies of scientific fiction, machines were capable of speaking with humans. However mankind is still far away of getting those types of machines, like the famous character C3PO of Star Wars. During the last six decades the automatic speech recognition systems have been the target of many studies. Throughout these years many technics were developed to be used in applications of both software and hardware. There are many types of automatic speech recognition system, among which the one used in this work were the isolated word and independent of the speaker system, using Hidden Markov Models as the recognition system. The goals of this work is to project and synthesize the first two steps of the speech recognition system, the steps are: the speech signal acquisition and the pre-processing of the signal. Both steps were developed in a reprogrammable component named FPGA, using the VHDL hardware description language, owing to the high performance of this component and the flexibility of the language. In this work it is presented all the theory of digital signal processing, as Fast Fourier Transforms and digital filters and also all the theory of speech recognition using Hidden Markov Models and LPC processor. It is also presented all the results obtained for each one of the blocks synthesized e verified in hardware

O ingresso no ensino fundamental: dando voz as crianças

This study aimed to investigate the childhood from the entrance of the child in the primary education, with specific objective of analysis the discussions about the appropriateness of content and pedagogical practices to the specific characteristics of students. The research context is the period of expansion for nine years that Brazilian primary education is experiencing which allows the entrance of six years old children. For this achievement we choose theoretical and empirical research, in a primary 2nd grade classroom of a public school, with a methodological approach that enabled the understanding of characteristics which belongs the researched reality through observation that could verify this mentioned reality as well as interviews that could reflect the children conception. Among the main results we can highlight: 1) There is a rupture between kindergarten and primary teaching, the kids have noticed and reported the structural and environment differences, they feel lack of proper spaces for play and of resources like: playground, sandbox and toys in general. 2) The childhood of researched kids appears as a life period different from the adult life, playing appears as a characteristic of that moment. 3) The importance of ponder the pedagogical practices aimed at this ages, so that we can consider the play as an ally in this process, allowing that the kids have more possibilities in the learning process

Sistema para navegação de robôs móveis e interação humano-robô baseada em comandos de voz

This project is comprised by an interactive mobile robotics’ environment, focused in human-robot interaction. The system was developed to work in a smartphone, with Android operating system, embedded in a small size mobile robot. Information provided by the smartphone’s camera and microp hone, as well as by proximity sensors embedded in the robot, is used as inputs of a control architecture, implemented in software. It is a behavior-based and receptive to human commands control architecture, to assist the robot’s navigation. The robot is controlled by its own behaviors or by commands em it ted by humans

A voz inicial dos professores sobre o processo de inclusão escolar num curso de formação continuada em EAD

The inclusive classroom, focused on individual differences, it is becoming more frequent and constant within mainstream schools. For this practice to be successful, there must be a different work by teachers, methodology, teaching procedures, adapted equipment and materials. Thus, the teacher who works directly with students with disabilities, find factors that facilitate and hinder this practice, making it essential to study of such factors, so we can understand and contribute to assessment and implementation of strategies to minimize the need that this pedagogical practice imposes. This varying needs, from the simple as using different materials to work in the classroom to the broader and more complex, as the reform in schools. Thus, these aimed to survey and analyze the conceptions of teachers on facilitating and hindering aspects of the schooling of students with disabilities in the regular classroom as well as check their training needs. The method used was ruled a quantitative approach to data collection was through a closed questionnaire containing 35 questions with Likert scale. The study included 904 teachers who underwent a course of Improvement in Inclusive Educational Practices, the same was applied when students entered the course, but had not had contact with the course content. The result showed that most teachers agree that all students with disabilities have behavior problem, dividing the assertion that the disabled student disrupts the class of the colleague who has a disability. A forma poética do mundo: notas sobre o poema em prosa "Paisagem", de Julien Gracq

In this article, we examine the landscape “locus” by reading a poem in prose of Julien Gracq’s collection “Liberté grande”. Our aim is to understand how the poet uses rhetorical strategies in order to recreate or create – by means of the verb, the space around him. The term “rhetorical strategy” is used here in its broadest sense, and relates to devices that the poet uses to give iconic visibility to the space described, exploring the landscape through language and in this way unraveling a bit of  the poetic form of the world

Memoria se deseja, o resto se ouça ou veja: considerações sobre um poema de Frederico Barbosa .(2010)

In Frederico Barbosa’s poem “Memoria se”, the memory experience is marked in the body, which means that the memory is not only recorded on the lyrical person unconsciousness, but it is also something that, as an insignia, presents itself and becomes dense as permanence in this lyrical person body. The poet is heir of what may be called “tradition of rigour,” consequently, a discussion of his poetics aspects must consider the inventiveness and the dialogue with other texts, not only those from the canon but also those from the popular repertory that Frederico Barbosa assimilates and recreates.

A imaginação como metafísica:uma leitura do poema o percurso de um particular de Wllace Stevens

Wallace Stevens produziu uma poesia considerada difícil, distante da dicção fragmentária do primeiro Eliot tanto quanto da imagística de William Carlos Williams, apesar de compartilhar com o último o interesse pelas coisas como elas são. Sua dicção poética se caracterizou muito mais pelo interesse quase filosófico na relação entre imaginação e realidade, interesse que o levou a considerar a primeira, a “rainha das faculdades” segundo Baudelaire, como uma forma de metafísica. Expurgando dela os resquícios românticos subjetivizantes e dotando-a de capacidade de abstração e generalização, Stevens lhe dá envergadura de ontologia, na medida em que ela possibilita ao poeta tanto a apreensão das particularidades do mundo real quanto o desenvolvimento do pensamento lógico em direção a uma fenomenologia da percepção. Esta concepção e prática poética se acentuou ao longo da trajetória poética de Stevens e embora a crítica note algum excesso retórico nos poemas de maturidade, a sua capacidade inicial de síntese — notável em Harmonium, seu livro de estréia (1923) — é retomada nos poemas da fase final de sua produção, como mostaremos na análise do poema “O percurso de um particular”, publicado após a morte do poeta, em 1955.

Emily Dickinson e a poesia de autoria feminina

Faremos uma leitura do poema 754 de Emily Dickinson, “My Life had stood – a Loaded Gun”, à luz da teoria feminista de Sandra Gilbert e Suzan Gubar com o intuito de entender o dilema da autoria feminina no século XIX: a necessidade de auto-afirmação poética em contraposição à impossibilidade de auto-afirmação como mulher em uma sociedade patriarcal. O poema 754 dramatiza esse dilema criando uma cena pastoril na qual é a personagem feminina que fala e age em nome do homem, invertendo os papéis do gênero pastoril e da sociedade norte-americana da época. Esta inversão é que possibilita a superação do dilema, na medida em que pressupõe um eu-lírico de voz forte e eloquente, capaz de se pronunciar afirmativamente sobre assuntos do universo masculino enquanto silencia a voz masculina.

Os jogos frutais e o poema: natureza viva; natureza-morta

The (usually rotten) fruit theme or motif is recurring in Ferreira Gullar‟s poetic work (from A luta corporal, 1954, to Em alguma parte alguma, 2010). It can be said that the semantic-metaphoric field comprises metapoetic to political and social issues –expressive aspects in the author‟s trajectory. Thus, starting from the fruit topic which is characteristic of the bucolic-pastoral poetic tradition and tracing its presence in Brazil, this paper aims, by analysing some of Gullar‟s poems, to reflect on the peculiar way the problem is subverted in his lyric.
