Registrador de sinais analógicos usando MP3 player portátil com entrada para voz

Neste trabalho se propôs a utilização do MP3 player portátil para gravação de sinal nãoáudio em sua memória, utilizando-se seu recurso para gravação de voz. Para avaliar a proposta, retirou-se o microfone de eletreto do MP3 player e em seu lugar injetou-se um sinal de FM, com portadora de áudio de 1200 Hz modulada pelo sinal de interesse. O sinal é gravado no aparelho em arquivo no formato WAV. Sua recuperação se fez usando um demodulador de FM a PLL cuja entrada é o sinal de FM captado nos terminais da bobina do fone de ouvido do MP3 player. Nos testes, usou-se sinal senoidal e sinal de eletrocardiograma. Embora a qualidade dos sinais de baixa freqüência precise ser melhorada, em geral os resultados apontam para a viabilidade da proposta. Fazem-se sugestões para melhorias e extensões do trabalho.

Barreiras à entrada no Setor Siderúrgico Brasileiro no período de 1993 a 2012

This study aims to identify and analyze the barriers to entry in the two technological routes (integrated and semi - integrated mills) , the Brazilian steel industry , specifically in the areas of Plans and Long , in the period 1993-2012 . Thus, the study is characterized as an exploratory - descriptive research, based on data collection from secondary sources. The competitiveness is influenced by structural market factor, among them the threat of new market entrants. The entrants can have their ticket inhibited by entry barriers. In the steel industry, it was identified that the main strong structural barriers are economic, the type of scale economy, highlighting the idle capacity, and sunk costs. Institutional and economic barriers, the diversification and product differentiation type, are considered moderate barriers. Economic barriers, the type absolute cost advantage and initial capital requirements, and strategic price barrier are considered weak. With this, one can consider that the input type which most closely approximates the market for national steel industries is blocked, since their main barriers are the structural type

Modelagem e simulação numérica de um sistema de refrigeração por absorção utilizando o par H2O-LiBr

The term refrigeration solar refers to any air conditioning system that uses solar energy as a primary energy source. The use of solar radiation for cooling purposes is divided according to their technological possibilities which are distinguished from one another as the way that energy is involved in the cycle, work or heat. The first case is related to vapor compression cycles, in which the work input is provided by the photovoltaic conversion of solar energy into electrical energy. In the second case, an absorption refrigeration cycle is used and the thermal energy collected from the solar radiation is provided at the generator of this cycle.. In this work a system with an absorption cycle using the pair BrLi-water, using solar energy as input is modeled. It is considered a simple refrigeration cycle whose the equations of mass and energy conservation in each component are developed in order to obtain an algebraic equation set and a simulation routine using the EES software. Although the simulation operates under certain specified thermal load it is possible to estimate the necessary areas of heat exchangers and solar collectors

Análise fractal de fraturas em regime linear elástico: modo I de carregamento

For the development of this graduate work of fractal fracture behavior, it is necessary to establish references for fractal analysis on fracture surfaces, evaluating, from tests of fracture tenacity on modes I, II and combined I / II, the behavior of fractures in fragile materials, on linear elastic regime. Fractures in the linear elastic regime are described by your fractal behavior by several researchers, especially Mecholsky JJ. The motivation of that present proposal stems from work done by the group and accepted for publication in the journal Materials Science and Engineering A (Horovistiz et al, 2010), where the model of Mecholsky could not be proven for fractures into grooved specimens for tests of diametric compression of titania on mode I. The general objective of this proposal is to quantify the distinguish surface regions formed by different mechanisms of fracture propagation in linear elastic regime in polymeric specimens (phenolic resin), relating tenacity, thickness of the specimens and fractal dimension. The analyzed fractures were obtained from SCB tests in mode I loading, and the acquisition of images taken using an optical reflection microscope and the surface topographies obtained by the extension focus method of reconstruction, calculating the values of fractal dimension with the use of maps of elevations. The fractal dimension was classified as monofractal dimension (Df), when the fracture is described by a single value, or texture size (Dt), which is a macroscopic analysis of the fracture, combined with the structural dimension (Ds), which is a microscopic analysis. The results showed that there is no clear relationship between tenacity, thickness and fractal values for the material investigated. Endocardite infecciosa em pequenos animais

Infective endocarditis is a process in which an infection attacks the heart endothelial surface, and is commonly caused by bacterial colonization, which is called bacterial endocarditis. It is a condition rarely found in dogs and cats, and is more prevalent in male dogs of large size. It mainly affects the left side of the heart, affecting the mitral and aortic valves with greater frequency. The circulation of the bacterium in the bloodstream is what gives rise endocarditis, and is caused by any non-aseptic process that serves as a gateway for bacterium in the body, as from a skin lesion, even as an invasive procedure, such as, catheterization and surgery. The ante-mortem diagnosis is difficult because the clinical signs of endocarditis are varied and common to other diseases, summing up the signs of infection (fever, lethargy, weight loss), and presence of heart murmur and may show signs of congestive heart failure. Thus, the diagnosis is most often through autopsy. To arrive at a diagnosis should be used, besides the history and physical examination, some laboratory tests, especially blood cultures and echocardiography. Treatment is accomplished through the use of antibiotics for long period of time, it is very important to follow the results of susceptibility after its outcome is revealed. The prognosis for bacterial endocarditis ranges from guarded to poor, and can be assessed mainly by the echocardiography. A concepção pedagógica de um professor de Educação Física escolar: a história de vida como meio de compreensão

A história da Educação Física Escolar (EFE) apresenta diversas questões que são interessantes de serem estudadas. Para compreensão do quadro atual dessa disciplina na escola é relevante analisar a sua história, pois esse quadro é conseqüência dos fatos passados. Na tentativa de atender o objetivo do trabalho o recorte feito foi a partir dos pontos relacionados com professor de Educação Física. Deste modo parte-se da formação inicial desse profissional, considerando que no Brasil são oferecidos dois tipos de formação, as ocorridas no modelo tradicional-esportivista e as que apresentam um currículo com caráter técnico científico. Acredita-se a formação inicial contribuí na constituição da concepção pedagógica do profissional em formação, porém não se pode desprezar as suas experiências anteriores essa formação e nem as experiências vividas no mercado de trabalho. Contudo o objetivo do trabalho é: a) identificar a concepção pedagógica de um professor de Educação Física Escolar e b) identificar quais foram os fatores determinantes para se chegar a essa concepção. Para realização da pesquisa utilizou-se a metodologia qualitativa do gênero história de vida. Essa metodologia permite a entrada no campo subjetivo das pessoas, uma vez que ela trabalha com as experiências dessas, nesse caso não há tanto um roteiro factual, porque as narrativas se fazem por meio de impressões, sentimentos e sonhos, o colaborador é objeto central do estudo, que nesse caso será um professor. A seleção do sujeito se fez com a utilização do critério do professor colaborador ser formado em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior Pública e estar atuando na rede de ensino, mas as características pessoais do professor que são bastante peculiares também... Equações de taxa aplicadas na modelagem de dispositivos fotodetectores baseados em poços quânticos

In this work, it is presented a novel method for calculating some intrinsic parameters such as capture mean time, thermic emission mean time, capture probability and noise gain on quantum well infrared photodetectors. Such devices are built by depositing layers of semiconductors of different energy gap, forming quantum wells. The present method uses rate equations to describe the occupation of discrete states of the quantum wells, that together with noise gain equations given in literature, are solved self consistently. The input data of the method is experimental measurement of dark current (current measured with no relevant incident photon) versus applied bias. The objective of this study is to examine the pharmaceutical industry and changes that the fall of patents and entry of generics may cause in the price and consumption of drugs. Thus, there is a brief discussion about the global pharmaceutical industry, from its origins to the present day, showing in particular the case of the United States, today considered the largest industry in this sector. From this, the work seeks to address specifically the Brazilian industry and its regulation. Since the generic law implementation, the participation of this type of medicine has grown significantly in the country. Because they have always been lower than prices of their brand, the cost of treating disease is reduced, which makes generic drugs represent an improvement for consumers in terms of welfare of society

The flight quality describes the skills of the pilot realize a given task and its difficulty to perform it. Flight quality criteria provide a valuable reference for the designers during the requirements definitions phase and to develop them during the phase of flight testing. These criteria were taken important for the development of a fly-by-wire system. There are several flight quality criteria and this work analyzes the bandwidth criteria, this is evaluated according to a model an aircraft using the SIMULINK/MATLAB. In addition, the paper also describes in detail what is a flight quality criteria and shows an overview of the bandwidth criteria
