Flutuação na segmentação de palavras: relações entre constituintes prosódicos e convenções ortográficas na escrita infantil

In this paper, we analyzed situations where (a) one vocabular structure showed in two different ways in the same text or (b) had erasures. These structures fluctuations were extracted from texts written by children that, when the registers were done, were second graders of elementary school. Concerning the results, we verified: (1) that more than one prosodic constituent showed in the basis of fluctuation of vocabulary structures; and (2) that at least one of the limits of orthographic words was maintained in fluctuation structures. These results point to the recuperation done by writers with information they have access due to their insertion in (1) oral practices and (2) literacy practices.

O retorno: identidades à deriva no romance português contemporâneo

This paper concentrates on the analysis of how the typical voices of History are manifested, which is achieved by the aesthetics of the contemporary Portuguese narrative, as it aims at the same time the reflexion and the reformulation of the Lusitanian cultural imaginary in the course of O retorno, a novel by Dulce Maria Cardoso. The hypothesis that arises is that the trajectory of Rui’s individual experience, as wells as the other’s characters “retornados” looking for identity, is parallel to the proposed revision of the Portuguese nation collective cultural imaginary in the decolonization context, after the 25th April Revolution. It is its objective to investigate how the historical processes concerned to the concepts of exile and uprooting, displacement and belonging (BAUMAN, 2005) are fictionalized in the novel, seen as motes for Rui’s pursuit for identity and for the revision of the Portuguese Destiny theme

Dogs are becoming more and more a part of family life, but the relationship between man and dog is not always healthy. Many dogs are abandoned and illtreated due to their behavioral problems. Among the main behavioral disturbances reported in dogs, there are the separation anxiety, compulsive disorder, aggression and fear. Despite the necessity, there is a paucity of skilled professionals in this field and a difficulty in finding articles on the subject. This paper describes the ways to assess the behavioral problems and address in an objective way some of the major behavioral problems presented by dogs, its etiology and treatment

Proposta de implementação da ISO 14001 em uma empresa química

Due to environmental concerns and the current legal requirements, companies are looking for ways to reconcile economic growth with environmental preservation. The purpose of this project is to show the stages of implementation of ISO 14001 in a chemical company and propose changes in chemical procedures creating goals to be achieved. In this paper, the study for the implementation of ISO 14001 is in Viapol ltda., where the lack of environmental management can cause enormous impact to the environment and may generate air, soil and water pollution. The project resulted in a mapping of all the processes and a broad survey of waste and emissions, generating proposals to change some of the processes and and creating programs to achieve the goals and objectives proposed in the Environmental Policy. Adopting an environmental management system (EMS), the company will reduce costs by decreasing the amount of raw material used, shooting down on waste disposal and the amount of it, and increasing productivity. By committing to the implementation of the EMS, companies will be demonstrating a proactive approach to environmental issues and enrich its image to consumers’ point of view

O Cirque du Soleil e a trangressão natural do medo

O medo é uma emoção natural do ser humano, podendo representar um diferencial importante em relação à performance motora, especialmente quando se focaliza o ambiente das atividades físicas no Circo, mais particularmente do Cirque Du Soleil, por ser este bastante rico em desafios corporais. O Cirque Du Soleil é um império de entretenimento que tem sede nas cidades de Montréal e Quebec no Canadá e a transgressão do natural e a realização do impossível por meio do corpo humano representam as características básicas e marcantes desse espetáculo circense, carregado de emoções. Sendo assim, o objetivo do estudo centra-se em investigar a presença ou ausência do medo nas performances de um artista do Cirque Du Soleil, identificando seu significado e as maneiras com que este lida com esta emoção, antes e após o espetáculo e durante os treinos e ensaios. O estudo, de natureza qualitativa, foi desenvolvido em duas etapas, sendo a primeira referente a uma revisão de literatura acerca das temáticas propostas e a segunda relativa a uma pesquisa exploratória, utilizando-se como instrumento para coleta de dados um questionário contendo perguntas abertas, aplicado a uma amostra intencional composta por 1 integrante do Cirque Du Soleil, com o domínio do idioma português. Os dados foram analisados descritivamente, por meio da Técnica de Análise de Conteúdo Temático e indicam que artistas circenses sentem medo, ansiedade e nervosismo, além de alterações corporais, como aceleração do batimento cardíaco, antes de apresentações e diante do aprendizado de novos movimentos, que podem causar acidentes, tendo em vista que interferem na performance. O sujeito tenta controlar essas reações com pensamentos positivos, uma vez que entende que o medo é fruto de algo fictício proveniente da sua mente e utiliza a respiração para se acalmar. Comunicação de marcas de moda: nova proposta para a ação do Relações Públicas

This study has the objective of presenting a new suggestion to the public relations professional into the Brazilian fashion business, seeing that, besides promising and little explored, presents social-economic conditions that allow the profession actuation. For this, it has been deeply analyzed the social character of fashion history e its development parallel to the society historical and economic transformations, basing, then, the study of fashion history in Brazil. To understand contemporaneity and the relations which interlace on it, there were used two analyzes about nowadays social order, liquid pos-modernity, from Bauman; and the hypermodernity, from Lipovetsky. In this context, it‟s approached new ways of relating with marks and with products which, since their consumption, are prepared to posterior discard. In the accelerated scenario of marks and consumption, the human relations, more liquids and tenuous, create the urgent possibility of action from on communication professional, who knows to identify the consumers desires and foresee their needs, rendering the tenuous laces stronger and the relationships more solid. This is when the profession of public relations presents itself as a new proposal to create experiences and to tight the loose laces on the consumption era

O onírico nas narrativas de Théophile Gautier

Cette étude se propose à l'analyser la matière onirique dans les contes fantastique de Pierre Jules Théophile Gautier (1811-1872). En raison des singularités concernant à la période historique de l’auteur, c’est-à-dire à l’époque romantique, la fréquence thématique du rêve se montre essentielle à la compréhension de l'esprit de l'auteur, l’icône de mouvements postérieures, bien en raison de l'évolution artistique et stylistique qui lui a conduit à avoir des relations polémiques avec les idéaux du progrès bourgeois et avec la conception utilitariste de l'art de l’époque, contre laquelle il a opposé la théorie de « L’Art pour l’art ». On a comme l’objectif de montrer que la critique féroce de Théophile Gautier à l’idéal progressite de l’époque et aux limites de la condition humaine occupe une place importante dans ses récits de rêve, soit par la réorganisation des éléments du réel à travers le rêve, soit comme un des moyens d'échapper aux limites de la réalité qui n’était pas toujours vu positevement par les rationalisme

The present work's objective is to analyze the benefits of drawing for child development, encouraging children to draw. By doing this research, we want to prove the strengths that drawing can bring to the life of a child in areas such as emotional, intellectual, social, perceptual and motor development, seeking ways to encourage drawing for children. This research is bibliographic and focuses on authors like Viktor Lowenfeld, Robert Read, Edith Derdik, Georges-Henri Luquet, Ana Mae Barbosa and others who advocate drawing as a significant form of expression for child development

Arquitetura esportiva e a criação de um estádio: construção de um estádio de futebol para o S.C. Corinthians Paulista

O Corinthians é o clube de maior torcida no Estado de São Paulo, o segundo maior no Brasil e ainda não possui um estádio adequado para grandes competições. Localizado na região do Tatuapé, na capital paulista, o Parque São Jorge e o Estádio Alfredo Schürig são o que o time conta como espaço para treino. Suas partidas em casa são disputadas no Estádio do Morumbi ou do Pacaembu. No ano de seu centenário, entre muitos projetos já existentes, apresenta-se um novo conceito: um estádio para o clube e que também atenda as exigências de uma competição mundial, a Copa. A Copa do Mundo de Futebol atrai olhos de todos os continentes. É o evento de maior audiência e o segundo maior em termos de arrecadação (perdendo apenas para o Super Bowl). Para isso são necessárias que as exigências determinadas pela FIFA (Federação Internacional de Futebol Associado) sejam atendidas. Com todo o custo que envolve a construção e manutenção de um estádio, foram estudadas maneiras de gerenciá-lo para que a arrecadação seja suficiente para sua manutenção. Espera-se que a arquitetura possa colaborar com soluções práticas para esse desafio

A arte do teatro na educação durante a infância: a percepção dos professores acerca de suas contribuições

Seeking new ways to be used in the process of teaching and learning, he turned a look at alternative lines of research, going to value the arts in education, and inside, there has been a major focus of the relationship to both the theater and education. Currently, the theater has been the subject of research in education and has been also widely used as an educational resource, and its adoption by professionals is based on studies showing the contributions of the theater to child development. The theater, while playing, artistic expression and involves imagination, creation and sociability.This paper presents child development in all its phases, the importance of games, especially the symbolic games, during this process, through the perspective of Jean Piaget, a brief history of the theater within the education and the contributions actuallyits use as methodology of teaching and learning brings to children's development of the early years of elementary school, bringing the discussion as teachers' perception about the real possibility of its use in schools as a way of teaching and learning. Estudo da tecnologia RFID e sua aplicação na gestão de estoques

Due to the need of more agility, dynamism and reliability in stock management, the market has turned its attention to RFID, which offers a practical solution and live up to the big corporations' expectations. The search for continuous improvement establishes a direct link with RFID, for its technology offers accurate real time information in any monitored given place. RFID is a radio frequency communication technology. A reader communicates to a tag through waves. This tag can be active, with a battery, or passive, in which its power is supplied by currents induced by the field variation it is exposed to. The RFID technology has a well defined basic principle, but there are many constructive ways of implementing it. The adaptability as well as the flexibility regard to the several kinds of stock in industry, reaching their particular needs. RFID can lower maintenance costs in stock by collecting data more accurately, lowering human error and optimizing the item handling at its reception, exit and while it is inside the company. This paper presents an example of RFID technology applied in a company's stock management. It is possible to prove that there are, in fact, great advantages in implementing this technology, as it creates the opportunity for continuous improvement in stock management, with better application of material, labour and quality tools, since the data collected through an automatized process using RFID are more reliable and dynamic
