This paper describes the prepositions sob and sobre in the Functional Discourse Grammar framework (HENGEVELD; MACKENZIE, 2008) aiming at checking their lexical or grammatical status on the basis of classification criteria postulated by Keizer (2007). The following aspects point to their lexical status : (i) they consist of an Ascription Subact; (ii) they contain a specific content on the vertical axis signaling inferiority and superiority position in relation to a limit; (iii) they are not required by any predicate, but they are predicates by themselves, which require complementation by an argument playing Reference semantic function; (iv) they may be combined with de, em, para and por; which are genuine grammatical prepositions; and, finally, (v) they are not subjected to any phonological process of reduction and fusion.

Ordenação de constituintes em sentenças declarativas do português brasileiro

Based on Hengeveld and Mackenzie (2008)’s Functional Discourse Grammar (FDG), this article aims to analyze the natural and marked orderings of argument constituents in declarative sentences of Brazilian Portuguese taken in IBORUNA corpora. In this way, we conclude that the two natural orderings, proposed by Pezatti (1992), are determined by semantic factor, especially by semantic functions, while the marked ordering ir determined by pragmatic factor, especially by the attribution of pragmatic functions.

Estudo da presença e importância atribuída aos animais nos artigos apresentados nos anais do Encontro Pesquisa em Educação Ambiental (EPEA)

Together with the increase of environmental degradation in the past few decades, the environmental education (EE) has emerged and grown all around the world. It is worrying the frequent assigning of stereotypes to the animals and the cases of disrespect to them. For these matters it was studied the presence and importance attributed to animals in the annals of six editions of an event of great significance in the field of Environmental Education, the meetings Pesquisa em Educação Ambiental (EPEAs). The animals were chosen for deserving more attention in the preservationist context, besides allowing the use of a great extent of activities in EE, regarding scholar and non-scholar organizations. The articles that presented descriptors related to animals in the title, keywords or abstract were analyzed in depth and characteristics such as segmentation of the studied population, locations where jobs tend to be performed, prevailing aspects and didactic material production, among others, were investigated and compared. It was also verified which current trends on Environmental Education currents are more frequently presented in the EPEAs articles, in order to map the Environmental Education in Brazil in the past few years, using as a basis an important theoretical framework in the area. Through the use of descriptors it was possible to define the articles that would be analyzed in depth, which is less than 6% of the total work published and represents that, until the sixth edition, the EPEAs have a minor amount of works concerning animal matters. In many of these articles animals were superficially worked, which demonstrates the necessity of approaches not only involving more the animals, but also addressing the complex environmental matter. Coesão e coerência: discursos da linguística e da mídia

Esse trabalho analisa as refrações do discurso pedagógico que, em diálogo com outros discursos, como os da mídia e da linguística, reflete-os, além de ressignificá-los. Mais especificamente, trata-se da ressignificação que os discursos pedagógicos, postos em diálogo com os discursos da mídia, fazem de conceitos da lingüística; para essa análise tem-se como foco os conceitos de coesão e coerência, esses conceitos são critérios de avaliação dos textos. Quando retirados de suas enunciações e reutilizados nos dias de hoje, esses conceitos são ressignificados de forma a se adaptarem a novas enunciações. Como abordagem metodológica para a realização deste trabalho, tem-se uma análise qualitativa dialógica do livro de Thaís Nicoleti de Camargo, Redação linha a linha (2010) (corpus desse trabalho, que representa o discurso pedagógico). No diálogo proposto sobre os conceitos de coesão e coerência textuais pode-se perceber a ressignificação causada pela nova enunciação em que esses enunciados são reutilizados. Esse trabalho, por valer-se da análise do discurso bakhtiniana, estará sempre voltado ao conceito de diálogo, colocando os discursos em contato; partindo desse ponto, busca-se entender quais discursos dialogam com a produção do discurso pedagógico no livro analisado. Pode-se perceber, na análise dos conceitos de coesão e coerência textuais, que alguns discursos que dialogam com esses enunciados são os discursos de normatização e padronização. É possível dizer que a enunciação em que esses enunciados se produzem remete aos discursos do capitalismo, dos vestibulares, da atribuição de notas

Considerações e avaliações das solicitações em estruturas de edificações de paredes de concreto pré-moldado utilizando o modelo de pórtico tridimensional: estudo de caso

The present study is in reference to precast concrete (panels) walls as the main structural system. The diversification of the structural systems is a reality due to specific characteristics', as a result there is a lack of study and analysis. Some systems are already established in their applications, for instance: conventional reinforced concrete, structural masonry, metal structures, and wood structure. Apart from this precast concrete elements has had a growth in building sites in Brazil, therefore professionals should be more aware. Affordable house funding initiatives to address the housing shortage has been recurrent throughout the country, additionally precast concrete walls has been an alternative that meets the three basic concepts of engineering, which are: the technique, economy, and security. The objective of this study is to gather concepts from the literature and TOMO (2012) about precast concrete walls and make a didactic synthesis of how they are viewed. The modeling structure method of the system was performed following the concept of assigning bars, using the computer program of calculations SAP2000. Initially will be presented a theoretical part, furthermore a case study to illustrate the sizing of the walls using EXCEL tables programmed with calculation routine. The results will be presented in calculated efforts by the program for further analysis. Finally, will be highlighted important items of modeling and interpretation of the results

Nominalização e transitividade

This text is part of a larger study that initially aimed at focusing the relation between nominalization and transitivity in the Portuguese Language. Based on A. Culioli´s Theory of the Enuntiative Operations, we started from a static and descriptive analysis of language, in which nominalization and transitivity have visibility, towards a study that takes into consideration the articulation between language and natural languages. This second approach diluted the specificity of these two grammatical questions and directed them to more abstract spaces of reflection and common to any grammatical problem, such as causality, differential propriety and the construction of notional domains.

Direitos de propriedade e usos econômicos da terra:um estudo de caso de assentamentos de reforma agrária no sul do Pará

This article discusses the Brazilian land problem related to property rights of rural land. After emphasizing the importance of land policies in order to define and distribute rural land properties rights, we show how in Brazil the institutions of rural land registering and cadastering as separated processes debilitates the property rights, making them vulnerable to the effective occupying actions. In order to illustrate it, in this article we analyze Data based in a Case Study of conflict and property rights distributions in an important farming and mining region of southern Para state, in Brazil.
