Programa de educação e prevenção em saúde bucal nas escolas: análise crítica de publicações nacionais

Objective: To conduct a survey on national databases about Oral Health Program (OHP) publications in schools, in the last eleven years. Material and Methods: A survey was conducted in two main bases of national publications in the field of dentistry: Bireme and Scielo. To start the research, it was used the articles theme/subject. In the search, it was used the keywords 'oral health education', 'programs and oral health and dentistry', 'programs and oral health and education'. Results: A total of 20 publications were selected. From these, seven (35%) had the aim to evaluate educational methods used in OHP, 12 (60%) evaluated the effectiveness of the OHP itself developed in the school and one (5%) reported the experience of OHP. Only two publications did not get positive results and the other eighteen obtained advantageous results. Conclusion: In the national scientific literature, there are few publications about the subject in question, suggesting that the successful experiences about OHP in schools must be published to be replicated in other parts of Brazil.

O conhecimento biológico nos documentos curriculares nacionais do ensino médio: uma análise histórico-filosófica a partir dos estatutos da biologia

We analyzed the National Curriculum for Secondary Schools with respect to the ontological, epistemological, historical, social and conceptual biology. This study aims to bring information and thinking about the inclusion of history and philosophy of biology for secondary education and for teacher training. We performed an analysis of PCNEM, PCNEM+ and Curriculum Guidelines as a whole from established categories. The results indicate a predominance of the ontological view of mechanistic biology. Epistemologically, although acknowledged, the question of scientific method is rarely discussed. The historical approach and social scientific activity and scientific knowledge are recognized by the documents, but an instrumental view prevails. The conceptual aspects are comprehensive and take into account the theories of structural biology. A philosophical discussion on the biology is missing in the parameters, indicating the need for the inclusion of issues related to ideas of determinism, chance and teleology.

Gestão para eficiência energética: levantamento e análise da produção científica divulgada em alguns periódicos das áreas de engenharia de produção e administração (2001-2011)

This research leads to a meta-analysis of scientific production in energy efficiency in industrial sectors, recorded in ten (10) leading journals in Administration and Engineering Production in Brazil, between 2001 and 2011. To this end, this scholarship was examined based on the following parameters: a) the total contribution and journal articles, b) methods used in studies, and c) the theoretical gaps to exploit. The diagnosis is that one infers: academic work in energy efficiency industries accounted for only twenty-nine (29) published articles, and only eight (8) have energy efficiency as a central theme of the work. Although the results still showed a rising trend in the number of publications since the last five (5) years analyzed showed 65.5% of all published files relating to energy efficiency. It contributes, therefore, the systematization of the academic production in the area of energy efficiency and business subsidies are provided for this field of research in Brazil.

Autismo e família: revisão bibliográfica em bases de dados nacionais

Early studies involving childhood autism attributed to family involvement in impairment of psycho-emotional development of the child. The purpose of this study was to review the literature related to autism and family in two national databases (Theses Database of Capes and Scientific Electronic Library Online) without defining a specific period as well as identify the main thematic focused. Were located 29 studies in Theses Database of Capes, the first record in 1990 and 12 in Scientific Electronic Library Online, the first publication in 2001. The results were grouped into seven categories. The categories “Quality of Life” and “Family Relations” concentrate most of publications on Theses Database. Already in Scientific Electronic Library Online, mostly refers to the “Family Relations” and “literature review”. It was found that none of theses or dissertations was published in scientific paper format, hampering the dissemination of research in the area.

Análise do desgaste em ferramentas de diamantes nacionais

Três tipos de diamantes foram observados neste trabalho, para determinar qual apresenta a melhor relação entre desgaste e tempo de vida de um dressador de ponta única. A metodologia empregou o dressamento de um rebolo de óxido de alumíno e, a cada vinte passes, com avanço da profundidade de dressagem de 40 μm por passe, registrou uma imagem da ponta da ferramenta em um estereoscópio. O dressador foi então recolocado na retificadora para a realização de novas dressagens até o fim de vida do diamante. O critério para o fim do ensaio foi o faiscamento gerado pelo contato do rebolo com a base do dressador. Foram realizados três ensaios para cada tipo de diamante. O Mato Grosso apresentou os maiores desgastes de área, e o Brasil Extra, o menor. O CVD nacional teve desempenho parecido com o do Brasil Extra, mas com tempo maior de dressagem nos ensaios. Ou seja, apresentou baixo desgaste e durabilidade maior.

Dançando o ritmo do preconceito: uma análise do estido waacking com o enfoque no sexo masculino

This study did a literature review to contextualize and detail reach the story and how it perpetuates in practice the dance style Waacking, sought the understanding of how the body is inserted in our society, made notes on the Sport Psychology regarding the topic fear and shame, and pledged to address the conflicting issues of gender and sexuality, to then be possible to develop what has been objectified. This study sought to establish whether there are national publications on the Waacking dance style and what their contributions to the Brazilian context, verifying the presence of stereotypes and prejudices to males in it are inserted. As used method, the survey was conducted in online databases having the following sites as a source of scientific academic content to nationwide: Google Scholar (like the filter to search only in Portuguese language - as the focus of the research is to gather national publications); Journals Portal CAPES / MEC; and SciELO - (Scientific Electronic Library Online). A qualidade da educação infantil na produção científica nacional

A educação infantil é caracterizada como a primeira etapa da educação básica no Brasil, que é destinada ao atendimento de crianças de 0 a 5 anos de idade, sendo um direito da criança, é um dever do Estado em ofertá-la, porém a questão acerca da oferta de uma educação de qualidade, ainda é uma questão incongruente no território brasileiro. Há documentos oficiais como Os Indicadores de Qualidade da Educação Infantil, caracterizado pelos próprios autores como um instrumento de autoavaliação da qualidade das instituições de educação infantil, que buscam indicar padrões para a garantia de qualidade, mesmo que de caráter mínimo, para a educação infantil. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar e mapear dados obtidos por meio de levantamento de artigos científicos nacionais acerca da qualidade da educação infantil, artigos estes que foram selecionados a partir de periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) avaliados como A1 no ano de 2014, a pesquisa analisará os artigos disponíveis apenas online que abordem a temática do estudo, com publicação no período de 2004 à 2014. Procurou-se averiguar a discussão realizada nos artigos sobre a temática do estudo, e compreender os principais aspectos relacionados à qualidade da oferta da educação segundo os artigos científicos selecionados, atentando-se para as discussões relacionadas às políticas de qualidade para a educação infantil; formação dos professores, a relação escola e pais, e a participação das crianças como forma para garantir melhor atendimento. Desta forma se evidencia poucos artigos que tratam da temática e para novos temas que emergem a serem trabalhados, para ampliar e qualificar o debate sobre uma educação infantil de real qualidade para as crianças brasileiras

Privatização da educação no Brasil: como o tema vem sendo tratado em publicações de periódicos que estão no Scielo

Education is a basic right of every citizen guaranteed by the Federal Constitution of 1988, so that everyone is able to exercise their civil, political, economic and social. But in Brazil, this right has not yet been effected in all its concreteness and current privatization strategy have brought change to the right to education. Recent research from GREPPE (Group of Studies and Research in Educational Policy) identify different modalities of privatization of basic education, with emphasis on the privatization of supply, management and organization of the pedagogical work through the adoption of private educational systems. This study aimed to identify and discuss how the issue of privatization of education in Brazil is currently being treated in journal articles contained in the database SciELO - Scientific Electronic Library Online. O programa de ensino da disciplina de conteúdos, metodologia e prática do ensino de matemática no curso de pedagogia na UNESP / Rio Claro-SP e a abordagem dos Parâmetros Currículares Nacionais

O presente trabalho se refere à análise dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais na área de Matemática no ensino fundamental e sua inserção na disciplina de Conteúdos, Metodologia e Prática do Ensino de Matemática no curso de Licenciatura Plena em Pedagogia da Universidade Estadual Paulista, em Rio Claro/SP. Os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais a serem utilizados na pesquisa foram produzidos em 1997, enquanto que o programa de ensino de disciplina teve sua elaboração em 2006, sendo ainda vigentes. A pesquisa tem como objetivo evidenciar e detalhar a proposta de cada um destes documentos para verificar sua compatibilidade de modo a entender em que se fundamenta a formação de pedagogos acerca da área de Matemática e a atual necessidade para o ensino fundamental. A pesquisa foi complementada através da pesquisa bibliográfica, com abordagem qualitativa em autores que cerceiam o tema, além de legislações que contribuem, de modo que o debate literário colabore com a Educação uma vez que analisa o conteúdo estudado na graduação e sua compatibilidade com os parâmetros utilizados na faixa etária em que irá atuar
