A busca pela apreensão do passado em O papagaio de Flaubert, de Julian Barnes

Em O Papagaio de Flaubert (1988), de Julian Barnes, o narrradorprotagonista deixa-se seduzir pela questão: como é que apreendemos o passado? A partir dessa problemática essa obra será estudada com base nos estudos freudianos. O objetivo é expor o trabalho do narrador para demonstrar que a representação do passado como verdade única e inalterável é impossível.

A poética de Gaston Bachelard / The poetcs of Gaston Bachelard

Trata-se de um resumo dos elementos que constituem a análise bachelardiana. Descreve a trajetória de Bachelard a partir do momento culminante de suas pesquisas científicas, em que rejeita a imaginação, considerada como o elemento falsificador do pensamento científico por excelência. Ocorre então uma reviravolta em suas posições a partir da Psychanalyse du Feu e Bachelard começa a valorizar a imaginação como outra forma de conhecimento, através do devaneio poético em torno do tema da chama de uma candeia e Bachelard mostra ter atingido uma serenidade e uma plenitude totais face à morte próxima This is summary of the elements which constitute Bachelard’s method of analysis. The author describes Bachelard’s trajectory starting from the culminating point of his scientific researches, in which he rejects imagination, considered as the falsifying element par excellence of scientific thought. Then an overturn occurs in his positions starting from psychanalyse du feu and he star to accept imagination at a greater value as another form of knowledge, through poetical divagation on the thee of the flame of a lamp. Bachelard shows to have reached full serenity and plenitude to face approaching death.

Interdito e silêncio: análise de alguns enunciados

Within the field of Discourse Analysis (Pêcheux) and psychoanalysis, this work states interdiction and silence as constituents and founders of the discourse. In short, we claim that what makes it possible to say anything is that it is not possible to say it all, so something must remain unsaid. The logic principle here is that the contradiction, the excluded founds the possible. For such task we use the logic square. We also propose and build a square of the saying or of the utterances. The analysis made here points toward the existence of the impossible in language, and also indicates how important a modal approach of language can be.

Notas para a compreensão da constituição do sujeito em Freud

In this paper we intend to understand the functioning of Freudian psychism concerning the constitution of the psychic subject in his relation with knowledge. In order to do that, we will analyze one of the most important writings by Freud: An Outline of Psycho-Analysis. This choice was made because we think that the author synthesizes his thought in that book, whose maturity makes possible for us to access a later elaboration of the functioning and the conceptions we intend to analyze: The regions of Psychic apparatus; The problem of the Psycho-Analysis approach: science and philosophy; and The psychic qualities of the subject.

O ensino de língua inglesa nos primeiros anos do ensino fundamental: uma abordagem transdisciplinar

This study is a reflexive review of theories about the teaching of English to children in Elementary School, a suggestion to teach English through the Fairy Tales and Fables, associated with the study of Transversal Themes suggested by the plot in the selected stories. The aim of this article is to discuss the contingence in literature texts since an approach that make the literary theory, the discourse analysis and the psychoanalysis dialogue. It is important to remark the importance of this different areas dialogue as an instrument that could help the understanding of the relations between tradition and invention and the modern writer’s obsession to control the derive of meanings and the originality of the creations as well.

A abordagem histórica do letramento: Ecos da memória na atualidade

The word literacy acquired a polysemy spectrum which put it away from the notion of social and historic process, at the same time that associates it to codification and decodification of writing. Concerning to this last perspective, we would have nothing to add. However, we sustain, in this paper, considering Pêcheux´s Discourse Analysis and Lacanian Psychoanalysis approaches, that there is a conception of literacy as a phenomenon which influences indirectly individuals and cultures for whom the competence of writing is not established. In this sense, the concept of literacy is larger than alphabetization. As an evidence of this proposal, we analyze a text written by a student, that demanded him to write about a context distant from his own, and, to do so, he mobilized places from the archive and from his particular memory, showing a singular knowledge of writing culture, even though his text presents interpenetration of oral an writing forms, aspect that is not allowed by those who defend an a-historical conception of literacy. We discuss that the student’s text ran away from the reduction of a merely pedagogic ideology and reflects a discursive coherence in face of the challenge that was proposed to him. By the end of this paper, we propose that the teachers should search for devices that make easier for their students to write texts in which their authorship could emerge.
