Infecções da corrente sanguínea por Klebsiella spp. produtora de Betalactamase de espectro expandido em unidades de terapia intensiva neonatal de hospital de ensino no estado do Pará: fatores de risco para letalidade

Klebsiella spp. produtora de beta-lactamases de espectro expandido (ESBL) tem emergido como um problema comum globalmente. Entretanto, dados relativos às características clínicoepidemiológicas e ao desfecho clínico em neonatos infectados por esta bactéria gram-negativa ESBL são ainda limitados. Estudo descritivo retrospectivo analítico avaliou os fatores de risco associados à letalidade e o perfil epidemiológico das Infecções de corrente sanguínea (ICS) por Klebsiella spp. ESBL em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) neonatal de hospital de ensino no Estado do Pará, Brasil. Amostra composta por 27 neonatos, a maioria prematuros (77,8%), com a idade gestacional média de 34 semanas, variando de 27 a 41 semanas. Os episódios de ICS foram mais frequentes em recém-nascidos (RN) com peso ≤ 1500 g (40,7%), sendo que 14,8% abaixo dos de 1000g. O tempo médio de internação dos pacientes foi 40,51 dias variando de 5 a 101 dias (DP = ±29,61), com tempo médio de aparecimento da ICS de 12,2 dias após a admissão na UTI neonatal. A maioria das infecções foi provocada por bactérias da espécie Klebsiella pneumoniae (52%). A mortalidade geral encontrada foi 66,7%, com uma taxa de letalidade até o 14º dia da bacteremia de 51,8 %. O cateter vascular central (CVC) esteve presente em cerca de 60% dos RN e todos os pacientes apresentavam-se sob ventilação mecânica no momento do episódio da ICS. Quanto às variáveis associadas ao óbito até o 14° dia, apenas a inadequação da terapia antimicrobiana apresentou significância estatística (P<0,0017), já que todos os neonatos que receberam antibioticoterapia inapropriada evoluíram desfavoravelmente. As ICS causadas por Klebsiella ESBL têm se tornado um problema comum em RN prematuros com elevada mortalidade naqueles que recebem terapia inapropriada.

In recent years it was possible to see a considerable growth of distance education, while the classroom teaching had a more modest growth. Thus, maintained this scenario, it will not take long for the quantitative indicators of distance education outweigh the classroom education. The distance education is evolving rapidly and changing traditional methods of acquiring knowledge and reduce inequalities caused by isolation and distance from large urban centers. This work aims to develop a videolesson and analyze its application in the teaching of statistics to a class of students of FEG, using modern techniques of distance education. To that end, was record a videolesson and developed two assessment tools, one practical and the other qualitative. The results showed that students prefer to follow the resolution of examples, with high degree of difficulty, and the audio recording is a key to the proper understanding of the same. Ditado - Um estudo sobre a evolução da escrita de crianças de um segundo ano do ensino fundamental

Esta pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa busca informações em diferentes tipos de materiais que não receberam, ainda, nenhum trato científico (OLIVEIRA, 2007), como é o caso específico dos ditados dos alunos. Originou-se no Projeto Bolsa Escola Pública e Universidade na Alfabetização, criado pela Secretária da Educação do Estado de São Paulo, do qual participei como aluna-pesquisadora no ano de 2009. O objetivo principal foi o de averiguar se houve evolução da escrita, em ditados de 23 crianças de um segundo ano do ensino fundamental e, quando houve, se ela foi diferente entre os grupos de palavras constituídas de sílabas simples e complexas. Os ditados analisados constituíam-se de palavras e, em algumas ocasiões, também de frases e foram aplicados pela professora da sala em cinco períodos diferentes do ano letivo: março, abril e junho – primeiro semestre; setembro e novembro – segundo semestre. Os alunos apresentaram diferentes níveis de construção de aprendizagem da escrita entre si e, para caracterizá-los, durante a sua evolução, utilizei os níveis de evolução da escrita de Ferreiro e Teberosky (1999). A pesquisa apresenta relevância, não só ao questionar o uso, ainda hoje, do ditado em sala de aula, como uma prática para avaliar a evolução da escrita da criança, no início do processo de alfabetização, ou como uma prática mecânica, utilizada pelos educadores por ser um tanto cômodo, mas também, ao estabelecer, pelo trabalho do aluno-pesquisador, a relação entre a teoria e a prática, resultando em uma visão mais abrangente da sala de aula, do cotidiano escolar e do processo de alfabetização. A leitura na perspectiva de Bakhtin e suas possibilidades na formação do leitor: na educação infantil e no primeiro ano do ensino fundamental

Overall, in Brazilian schools, the concept of reading does not take into account its possibilities and its meaning for life. But read is assigning meaning to something , make sense, interact with the text read. Thus, the present study addresses the mechanical reading, that without contextualization, performed on a technique by joining letters and syllables loose and also reading social use, consisting of statements, dialogism , polyphony and heteroglossy. It is known that the mechanical reading brings undesirable consequences, including learning problems, such as lack of attention, concentration, memory, imagination. When the reading is taught in a systematic way, with only the goal of the code decoding of written language, destroys social perspectives and intellectual development. It is common, when you offer the children a book, there the difficult disinterest of textual interpretation, because there is no attribute meaning to the content, and even the ability to interact with the text. With the interest in studying the dialogic reading this and the statements and genres, the present study was based on several authors: Bakhtin (1988, 2000), Schneuwly and Dolz (2000), Faraco (2009) and Ponzio (2009) Jolibert (1994), Bajard (2002; 2007) Foucambert (1997) Martins ( 1985) and Smith ( 1999). Estratégias de aplicação de softwares educativos como instrumentos para o ensino de física

The technological advances of recent decades combined with digital inc1usion in Brazil sparked the country's population to the constant use of computers to perform tasks in many different natures. Whether it's for communication, entertainment, work or school, computers are tools with increasing numbers in Brazilian homes. Along with this evolution the Brazilian Physics teaching should be aware of the use of teaching tools that relate directly to the computer to student learning. Highlighting in this work we have scanned the contents of the Wikipedia community, a wide variety of educational videos placed on YouTube, educational games that try to teach the player in a fun way and a variety educational softwares placed on the World Wide Web. It is with special attention to educational softwares as tools for teaching physics, which describe some strategies for use of these software, combined with the textbooks, to illustrate some ways to introduce the use of educational softwares directly in the classroom

This paper aims to discuss the system of inventory management in a public university. The present paper shows the definitions, classification of materials and the advantages and disadvantages of storage, besides exposing the public procurement bidding system since the acquisition until receipt of materials to be stored. This paper presents a survey of the items stored in the warehouse and use of control tools such as ABC curve to demand flow prized for verification of critical items and idle items. Displays also a calculation for the minimum value of stock and replacement of an item in inventory and an analysis of the conditions of the warehouse layout. As a result, knowledge is acquired and a revised system of inventory management of the institution was proposed

In order to accomplish those goals, software application and its advantages will be demonstrated for the industry and for the academia. The evaluation process consists in modeling two mechanical assemblies, in order to compare functional aspects among the software. At the end, it is concluded that the learning of CADD software is of great importance also is the basis for using Computer-aided Engineering (CAE) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) tools. O ensino da escrita no último ano da Educação Infantil: práticas convertidas ao traçado das letras excludentes à noção de símbolo

The theme of the writing learning in childhood education has conquered space in academic works, which occupy in analyze and understand how this process in contexts of meaning and not more before the mechanics of learning letters. Thus, in this work, it constitutes general objective to investigate whether and how the practice of teaching of oral and written expression in the last year of child education promotes the development of the symbol (sign) in children, so necessary to the learning of writing from inside to outside. The questions that served as the North for the study were the following: the teaching of writing, in the last year of child education, is organized to promote the development of the symbol (sign) in children? Which and how the ratings graphics made by children demarcate the stage of development of their writing? For its implementation, a bibliographic research was performed, using as a theoretical support for the prospect of Psychology socio-historical, especially authors as Vygotsky (1984), Luria (2001), Oliveira (1995) and Mello (2005). In addition to this was performed the empirical research of qualitative approach, according to his purpose. The data were collected by six instruments: systematic observation and direct in the classroom; audio-recording; records in a field diary, annual teaching plan of the school; lesson plan weekly and material produced by children, result of write activities. By means of the analysis of these data, we note that the writing has been worked from outside to inside, as an imposition, practice that opposes the theory of Vygotsky, already that the writing has been tackled in a way mechanical, in contexts not significant, with focused practices to the trace of the letters and copy of words, exclusive to the notion of symbol.
