Estudo sobre a mortalidade e sobrevivência de micro e pequenas empresas natalenses e seus impactos nas políticas públicas pró-empreendedorismo

The principal purpose of this research was to investigate discriminant factors of survival and failure of micro and small businesses, and the impacts of these factors in the public politics for entrepreneurship in the State of Rio Grande do Norte. The data were ceded by SEBRAE/RN and the Commercial Committee of the Rio Grande do Norte State and it included the businesses that were registered in 2000, 2001 and 2002. According to the theoretical framework 3 groups of factors were defined Business Financial Structure, Entrepreneurial Preparation and Entrepreneurial Behavior , and the factors were studied in order to determine whether they are discriminant or not of the survival and business failure. A quantitative research was applied and advanced statistical techniques were used multivariate data analysis , beginning with the factorial analysis and after using the discriminant analysis. As a result, canonical discriminant functions were found and they partially explained the survival and business failure in terms of the factors and groups of factors. The analysis also permitted the evaluation of the public politics for entrepreneurship and it was verified, according to the view of the entrepreneurs, that these politics were weakly effective to avoid business failure. Some changes in the referred politics were suggested based on the most significant factors found.

A influência do modelo de triplice hélice no grau de maturidade de inovação: um estudo de caso em empresas participantes do projeto PRÓ-INOVA/NAGI no estado do RIO GRANDE DO NORTE

Public investments in the development of innovation in the country, either through the rigging of public universities, either through public announcements of the promotion, increased dramatically in recent years. To analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of the use of public resources is especially in times of austerity, essential for the development of a country. In this context, this research aims to identify the influence of public investments to promote innovation in the degree of maturity of innovative companies in the state of the RN. Another goal is to identify the regional influence from the installation site - capital or countryside, in the performance of the companies studied in the degree of innovation. The theoretical basis of the understanding of the scope of the concept of innovation and its determination for the purposes of this study. Typology, degree of innovation, evaluation methodologies and mechanisms to support innovation : Still on the theme of innovation additional concepts that help the reader to a greater understanding, such as are presented. Following is approached conceptualization of the triple helix, highlighting the concepts advocated by Etzkowitz and Leydesdorff, Salomon and Silva and Ipiranga, Freitas and Paiva, among others. With regard to methodological aspects, we propose a descriptive, exploratory and explanatory research quantitative and qualitative approach with the target audience group of companies served by INOVA PRO- NAGI design - multi-institutional action from a public resource called FINEP promotes the development of innovative companies in the State of Rio Grande do Norte - in 2013. The research should provide reflection and understanding of the influence of public investment in innovation, which by means of qualitative predictive variables associated with quantitative method to explain which variables are significant variations in the degree of maturity of enterprises studied

Parâmetros organizacionais de Mintzberg: análise da estrutura organizacional de um programa interinstitucional de pré-incubação de empresas no município de Itajubá, MG.

Este artigo apresenta as possibilidades de atuação do profissional psicopedagogo, em instituições que trabalham com adolescentes e jovens em cumprimento da medida sócio-educativa de liberdade assistida. Foram questionadas duas instituições no ABC Paulista para, conhecer as dificuldades do público atendido e verificar o quadro de funcionários. Os resultados apresentam adolescentes com: dificuldades de escrita e leitura, interpretação de textos e falta de motivação nos estudos. Isso demonstra que o campo de atuação para um profissional especializado nas dificuldades de aprendizagem encontra-se aberto. No entanto, mesmo com uma área de atuação ampla, e o conhecimento do importante papel desse profissional, sua inserção nesse tipo de instituição não se mostra notória. Sua atuação possibilitaria melhor envolvimento com as questões educacionais, favorecendo a diminuição da reincidência no crime e proporcionando aos adolescentes e jovens um futuro promissor, que é de grande relevância para o sujeito e para a sociedade.(AU)
