A relação entre a família e a instituição de educação infantil: descrição reflexiva sobre uma experiência

The present paper is a doctorate thesis, in the area of Education, that has as a goal to describe and to reflect on the construction/systematization of a relation between family and institution of Childhood Education, in favor of sharing the care and education actions of children, in the context of creation of a County Center of Childhood Education, located in the city of Natal-RN. Our intension with this paper is to share some of the ideas and actions collectively constructed by this experience, with the intention of bringing a contribution for the thematic debates concerning Childhood Education - as modality of education, in a general way; and the relations between families and Institutions of Childhood Education, in a more specific way. The paper presented here is endorsed by the postulates of the qualitative research with characteristics of a research-action, having as main instruments of the data construction the open or half-structuralized interviews, the personal notebook of registers, the participant s index cards characterizing the children and comments. Authors as Aries (1981); Bassedas, Huguet and Solé (1999); Bhering and Blatchford (1999); Brasil (1998); Bujes (2001); Didonet (2002 - 2003); Formosinho (2007); Gómez (2000); Heywood (2004); Kramer (2005); Marchesi and Martín (2003); Marschal and Zohar (2006); Thiollent (2004); Tiriba (2006), amongst others, had theoretically based this paper. The experience described here points to the possibilities of sharing the care and education actions between family and Institution of Childhood Education, emphasizing the relevance of participative praxis in the interior of the institution, so that its job can propitiate this sharing with the families, throughout activities as meetings, lectures, workshops, participation in didactic projects, open expositions to the community, commemorative parties and valuation of the local culture, amongst other chances of dialogue and interaction between the educative institution and the families

Fatores de satisfação de empregados: um estudo com docentes de instituição de educação tecnológica

This Master of Science Thesis deals with investigating the factors affecting employees satisfaction studying the case of teachers on a technological education institution. It is surveyed teachers in a sample of size 42 out of 316. It is used a form that deploys a model of satisfaction antecedents factors comprised of work system, professional development, teaching activity, physical environment, pay, and problems management. The sample was found representative (χ2 test) based on genre, tenure, degrees, and age. The model for satisfaction with the institution presented a adjusted r2 > 0,80 and the main factors affecting it was found to be work system, professional development, and teaching activity. For the satisfaction with the career, the model results with a r2 > 0,70 and as main factors professional development, teaching activitiy and pay. The variables contribuition for the students education and use of suggestions were ones of the main variables appearing in the models. The results suggest an improvement in the model regarding the previous models used by Silva (2003) and Cruz Filho (2007) regarding model explicability of teacher satisfaction

Educação do empreendedorismo: um estudo em instituição de ensino superior

This Thesis deals with entrepreneurship on higher education undergraduate programs. The main objective is investigating the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education in terms of entrepreneurial attitudes and behavior. The study is done on a University that has an entrepreneurship education program on a Business Management undergraduate program. It is conducted a survey using a questionnaire on the Business Management undergraduate students resulting in a random stratified sample of 264 students. The entrepreneurial attitudes variables used are those found on the entrepreneurship literature. The entrepreneurial behavior variables are typical entrepreneurial situations like a decision on how to apply money and if the student would leave a good job to open his or her own company. It is applied multiple regression, cluster, bivariate and chi-square analysis. The main findings are first that it was not found a strong relationship between the entrepreneurial attitudes variables found on the entrepreneurship literature and the behavior situation proposed, with a multiple regression adjusted r2 = 0,30. Second, there is no statistically significant difference among the students comparing different years of the undergraduate program. Finally, the entrepreneurship education in this research appears to be effective in change attitudes toward entrepreneurship but not in changing entrepreneurial behavior. The main theoretical implication is that the entrepreneurship education on higher education level could be effective to change attitudes but changing behavior could goes beyond the possibilities of education on a usual university environment

The present study represents a qualitative thesis, characterized as a case study, which uses the method of the present approach. In addressing the academic home in physical education, there is the constancy of the discussions regarding the curriculum and professional formatting. In view of the curriculum modifications to fit the new legislation, and the fact they are few studies related to private institutions that offer such courses, which offer even greater number of courses when compared to public institutions aimed to investigate and analyze the professional profiles, curricular goals and flows contained in the pedagogical projects of courses bachelor degree in physical education and a private institution of higher education of the State of São Paulo, as well as verifying the existence and adequacy of articulation to the institutional educational project and the institutional development plan. Compounding the literature review discussed the key historical facts relating to courses in physical education in our country, and its path to the current model. Also presented was the law of physical education courses in force in Brazil and some concepts about teaching course projects and their relationship to other institutional documents. Techniques were used to review and document analysis, with primary source documents of their own and other government institution. It found a lack of interest of some private institutions of higher education in official documents available for this type of research, which is bad since there are more courses offered by them compared to public institutions. As for the degree course for training teachers of physical education, found lack of specificity regarding the differentiation between content and the bachelor, which ends up deviating from the expectations contained in the course to the one presented in the curriculum. Thus, it becomes a need for greater collaboration of private institutions of higher education...

Proposta de intervenção para a redução das enteroparasitoses em instituição de educação em Belo Oriente - Minas Gerais

O município de Belo Oriente encontra-se localizado no Leste de Minas Gerais e faz parte do colar Metropolitano da Região do Vale do Aço. A comunidade de Braúnas é uma área de altos índices de violência, baixa escolaridade e precárias condições financeiras e sociais. As parasitoses intestinais representam um grave problema de saúde pública, decorrente de más condições de vida das camadas populacionais mais carentes. Este estudo tem como objetivo desenvolver estratégias de intervenção para o controle de parasitoses na comunidade escolar de Braúnas, Belo Oriente/MG, por meio de ações educacionais e de medidas simples de saneamento básico e também de tratamento medicamentoso. Foi realizada uma revisão bibliográfica, na qual os dados secundários foram obtidos mediante consulta em livros, artigos científicos, periódicos, boletins governamentais e centros de informações e bases de registros eletrônicos. O projeto de intervenção foi elaborado com o enfoque estratégico de planejamento a partir dos problemas levantados pelos profissionais de saúde, capazes de proporcionar, através do conceito de explicação situacional, um olhar abrangente, de caráter totalizante e rigoroso que fundamenta a ação de profissionais envolvidos no enfrentamento dos problemas. O sucesso deste projeto depende da participação de toda a equipe de saúde da família bem como da equipe da instituição educacional e dos pais e familiares de alunos, cada qual cumprindo o seu devido papel no projeto.

História, filosofia e sociologia da educação matemática na formação do professor: um programa de pesquisa

We present and discuss in this article some features of a research program whose central object of investigation is the way in which the recent fields of history, philosophy, and sociology of mathematical education could take part in a critical and qualified manner in the initial and continuing training of teachers in this area. For that, we endorse the viewpoint that the courses for mathematics teacher education should be based on a conception of specificity through which a new pedagogical project could be established. In such project those new fields of investigation would participate, in an organic and clarifying way, in the constitution of multidimensional problematizations of school practices, in which mathematics would be involved, and that would be guided by academic investigations about the issues that currently challenge teachers in the critical work of incorporation, resignification, production, and transmission of mathematical culture in the context of the school institution.
