A citação no facebook: uma análise dialógica

This study analyses the quotations from a specific Facebook page called Brasileiríssimos, which presents itself as a project aiming to publicize and value the Brazilian culture. For this analysis one can observe the use of concepts of traditional quotations, to highlight, when comparing to these formats, the different ways of quoting that can be found on this means of communication: Facebook. The research aims to reflect about how the image of the page is built from the dialogue between the I and the other. More specifically, we look at the dialogue of the author of the page with the quoted text and the reader. In order to analyze that, concepts of quotation from authors belonging to Bakhtin's Circle are going to be used, amongst others. These concepts constitute the analysis criteria of the quoted texts, especially on how the quotation is made. The chosen methodological approach is a qualitative analysis from the quotations made on Facebook, as well as texts that help to visualize the dialogue between the traditional forms of quotation and the forms found on the abovementioned page. On the proposed dialogue about the concepts of quotation it is possible to notice the production of meaning caused by the way in which the quotation is made, by how the author of the page inserts herself in relation to the quoted text and, finally, by the relation of the text with the reader. Because this research bases itself on the dialogical discourse analysis, it be turned to the concept of dialogism, analyzing discourses in contact. Departing from there, one of the main goals is to understand which discourses dialogue when the production of the quotation and in what manner the quotation is made on the chosen means of communication

The main objective of this study focuses on investigate how the style of the Conhecimento Prático Língua Portuguesa magazine, from Escala publisher, reveals a materialization, in its wordings, of social values that surround our society regarding the teaching class. Besides, we thought about the construction of an other - teacher - by means of the I speech (the enunciator). Furthermore, we reflected on how happens the genre opinion article handling and whether there is, when aimed to the teaching class. All these questions were discussed under the perspective of Bakhtin's theory, focusing our analysis in the wording notions, dialogism, style and speech genres. Our analysis indicates a materialization of social values in syntactic issues and a hybridization of genres when the addressee is a teacher

Bakhtin e o grupo: incongruências de uma linguística ortodoxa

For these Russian authors, a sign has to be faithful to reality but what is, in fact, «to be faithful», what is «reality»? They suggest that thought structures itself only by means of signs – as Peirce, who denies the reality of dreams saying that the act to feel hunger is an ideological expression and the shouts of a new-born are already appreciative manifestations of this new human being. The authors had inspired the structuralism, saying that a «semiodiscourse» structures men. Although this instance, word remains neutral, assertion strange to their Hegelian and Marxist roots; their paradigm in contrast, can be Heideggerian, according to which, only the «marked» being exists: looking at one determined thing, I place it, I fit it in its context. To place something is to attribute sense and that is more Stoic than, in fact, Marxist.

Different environmental disasters registered around the world and their consequences to nature and to the biodiversity, including the human beings, lead us to deal with nature’s mysteries and with our limits In controlling technological apparatus that make us proud enough to think that we can control nature’s processes. These kinds of experiences, considered as a real “being-event”, make us experiment processes of disillusion related to the possibilities of science and technology. Considering this frame and the historical human experiences, one fundamental question is related to our position, our professional and ethical commitments and our responsibilities facing this reality. How can we deal with these facts that are continuously announcing the limits of nature, of science, technologies and our self-limits? As researchers involved with environmental education, it seems plausible for us to ask about the ethical commitments related to our “acts” of investigation. So, considering different and stimulating possibilities opened by intellectual and philosophers who are adding significant contributions to these debates, my proposal for this essay is to invite environmental education researchers to carry on a dialog involving these questions with some perspectives proposed specially by Bakhtin (1895 – 1975) and some other authors affiliated or not to his approach. This seems to be an opportunity which allows us to realize that our commitments as environmental education researchers would be identified with our commitments with life

El problema de la escritura en las relaciones entre filosofía y literatura : Lyotard, Bajtín y Derrida

El artículo examina las relaciones entre filosofía y literatura, partir de un examen de la noción de Archipiélago de Lyotard. Lyotard propone una comprensión del lenguaje como la multitud de las formas de constitución de los discursos. La obra literaria se toma como la posibilidad de la convivencia de la multitud de los discursos. Entonces se examinan las propuestas de Bajtín y Derrida, para mostrar cómo la filosofía se apropia del texto literario. Bajtín habla de una polifonía de la obra literaria, en la cual diversas voces confluyen al interior del texto. Derrida se apropia de esta polifonía, y su filosofía es una construcción de espacios para la convivencia de muchas y contradictorias escrituras al interior de sus obras. De esta forma, la literatura se entiende como una manera de habitar el lenguaje, que pretende abrirse hacia diferentes voces, diferentes otredades. La filosofía, al aproximarse a estas escrituras, se abre ella misma hacia la experiencia de un afuera en el que residen multitudes de otros.

El chulla Romero y Flores en la perspectiva de Bajtín

Una de las obras m��s significativas de la literatura ecuatoriana del siglo XX es El chulla Romero y Flores, de Jorge Icaza. Sin embargo, la bibliografía crítica sobre esta novela es muy escasa y contrasta con la abundancia de estudios que se han dedicado a Huasipungo. Este hecho me lleva a pensar que los recursos teóricos empleados hasta ahora en el análisis de los textos literarios no han sido suficientes para descubrir la riqueza de una obra cuyo mayor logro es el descubrimiento de la dualidad escondida en la conciencia popular ecuatoriana. El propósito de superar este escollo me ha llevado intentar un análisis de El chulla Romero y Flores desde la perspectiva teórica iniciada por Mijaíl Bajtín, cuya característica esencial es la apertura al contexto social que da vida a la novela. Nuevos conceptos teóricos, como los de cronotopo, polifonía, dialogismo y plurilinguismo permiten salir de los esquemas puramente formales en los que ha caído el estructuralismo, y descubrir los trasfondos del texto literario en cuyos repliegues anida la vida social con todas sus complejidades ideológicas. La aplicación de estos conceptos al análisis de El chulla Romero y Flores me parece una demostración de la riqueza de posibilidades de esta nueva perspectiva teórica, ya que ha hecho posible ir m��s allá de los enunciados habituales sobre la falta de identidad de una clase social ecuatoriana, y descubrir nuevas implicaciones de una conciencia escindida que se manifiesta en todo el espectro de la vida social , desde el lenguaje cotidiano hasta las instituciones políticas y sociales.
