Associação Indígena Tembé de Santa Maria do Pará (AITESAMPA): um relato sobre a luta por direitos étnicos

Lutar pela observância da Constituição Federal de 1988 se constitui em esforço de grande envergadura, especialmente para as associações indígenas, instrumentos de luta na defesa e promoção dos direitos étnicos. As associações, formadas à semelhança das organizações não-indígenas, procuram desenvolver projetos que compreendam a afirmação de identidades étnicas das comunidades representam os indígenas em negociações internas e externas, contribuindo para a construção da autonomia e autodeterminação dos povos indígenas. Exemplo disso é a Associação Indígena Tembé de Santa Maria do Pará (AITESAMPA), que representa os Tembé, conhecidos como de Santa Maria por terem sua Terra nos limites do município do estado do Pará. A Associação luta pelo reconhecimento identitário e pela demarcação de terras para seu sustento, visto que desde o século XIX, foram escorraçados de suas terras e obrigados a deslocamentos não desejados, até se estabelecerem no, hoje, município de Santa Maria. O estudo se debruça sobre a atuação da referida Associação, a partir da relevância dos “projetos” sociais e étnicos que permitem o fortalecimento da identidade dos Tembé. Analisam-se as estratégias elaboradas através de iniciativas denominadas “projetos”, desenvolvidos pela Associação para a defesa dos direitos indígenas e promoção de diálogo com o Estado brasileiro e a sociedade não-indígena que teimam em não aceitá-los, especialmente porque são “desconhecidos” na literatura etnológica que trabalha mais a partir dos Tembé localizados no Alto Rio Guamá. O trabalho é desenvolvido a partir das narrativas indígenas e do acompanhamento da movimentação social. Nessa condução, os autores envolvidos possuem uma visão “implicada”, pois dois são membros de povos indígenas e a não-indígena foi chamada a assessorá-los.

A Associação Indígena Tembé de Santa Maria do Pará (AITESAMPA), congrega os Tembé, conhecidos como “de Santa Maria” (Nordeste do estado do Pará) povo que luta pelo reconhecimento identitário e pela demarcação de terras, visto que desde o século XIX, foram escorraçados de suas terras e obrigados a fazer deslocamentos não desejados, até se estabelecerem no, hoje, município de Santa Maria. Estuda-se a atuação da referida Associação, a partir da relevância dos “projetos” sociais e étnicos que permitem o fortalecimento da identidade dos Tembé. In a view to determining the outlines of the Freedom of Speech and to specify its contents, we face hate speech as an offensive and repulsive manifestation, particularly directed to minority groups in contemporary society. Thus, the study sought to promote, in the foreground, a study of the Freedom of Speech, in the liberal molds. Considered this way, Freedom of Speech will tend to accept hate speech as a legitimate manifestation, albeit at the injury of the victims. On the other hand, when we are dealing with the exhaustion of the liberal paradigm and the affirmation of the Welfare State, we note the recognition by the social state of the asymmetries and commitment to redistributive justice. The Freedom of Speech, warded by welfare state will tend to suffer major restrictions on its self-determination power, rejecting hate speech.

A influência da orientação motivacional durante o treinamento de atletas iniciantes no tênis de campo

The motivation in the sport has been one of the most studied subjects nowadays, as much that some authors say that the motivation is the base for the success of an athlete, that is, the psychological part must also well be stimulated so that if it reaches the maximum level of concentration during a game it will obtains the expected result. Tennis is one of the sports that more grew in recent years, and together with this fast ascension also increased the number of interested in researching in this area of the Psychology of the Sport. The present study has as objective to begin the adaptation and validation of the interest scale and to analyze the influence of the motivational orientation of the athletes in the sportive performance of the Tennis through the application of scale Teosq – Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire (DUDA, 1992), translated, adapted and validated by Hirota and De Marco (2006), where we can identify if the individual is guided for a task or an ego’s goal. This research was carried through in a situated academy of Tennis in the City of Cotia – SP – Brazil, counting on the participation of 20 citizens with age between 09 and 18 years of both the practicing sexes of Tennis. The calculation of the Alpha Coefficient of Cronbach was adopted as statistical method, in order to identify the trust worthy and validity of the instrument beyond the average of each orientation, to be able to verify the athlete’s motivational orientation. For the analysis of the results, the Alpha Coefficient was observed high, compared with previous studies, reaching values of orientation for the ego of 0,90, and 0,70 of orientation for task. They had been registered the following averages, 4,20 (+0,93) and 2,42 (+0,85), respectively of orientation for task and ego. With those results we can point that, the scale applied with the proposal to identify the motivational orientation of the athletes of Tennis, revealed efficiency, and trust worthy in its application, and in accordance with the results, the athletes are guided for task, revealing self-determination, selfconfident, more creative and they judge its success for the quality of the carried through work.

This paper deals with psychological aspects involving bodybuilders nowadays, through their interests, motivations, factors that favor them to practice physical activity, frequent body image disorders, and major benefits that can be acquired when weight training the right way, whether physical or psychological. During the work is addressed to the Theory of Self-Determination and its characteristics, and behavioral aspects of the individual. We explore the types of motivation, intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, and their regulatory mechanisms. Did the relationship with weight training and the environment that surrounds it as the interaction between those involved in practice between the student and teacher performance and results and the effects that this interference can have on motivation and individual behavior. Also we relate body image factors, the perception of bodybuilders in relation to his own body, and the possible disorders that can promote. Describe the Vigorexia and their characteristics, we made a list of body image and self-esteem, approach standards set by society, the aesthetic influence and media disclosure. Finally, we explore the key benefits that well-directed physical activity can provide its practitioners. Physical, mental and social beneficial, improved self-esteem and in one's relationship skills. We address the growing strength in recent years, and their improvements in the various age groups and the population's quality of life

The books are part of the school routine in the course of our lives, currently, we are the gateway to the processes of social literacy that begins with the presentation of these objects for babies and children in early childhood education (EI). This research has the main question: to know how are the libraries or reading rooms in Early Childhood Education Centres (CEI) of Botucatu. Thus, the overall goal is to understand, characterize and analyze the CEIs libraries Botucatu. What implies: investigate and analyze the existing legislation on school libraries, their approach to the reality of the CEIs and the official documents of early childhood education; To investigate the relationship between the child and the playful objects (books, toys etc.) and finally discover and describe the reality of School Libraries in CEIs studied. The research is qualitative orientation, more precisely a Case Study. The space, proper equipment and support provide a rich learning that will serve as the basis for school achievements. However, the offering of School Libraries and Reading Rooms in many cases it is not a reality. The survey took into account which of the schools have assets, how is the organization of space, the playful activities with learners users and which functions, training and professional responsibilities designated as responsible for School Library/Reading Room. It is noteworthy to say the official documents as a basis and motive of this research as well as the fulfillment of established targets and carried out by the municipal, state and national governments on the implementation of School Libraries in schools, with the help of programs like National Fund Development of Education (ENDF), National School Library program (PNBE) and the National Book and Reading Plan (PNLL)

Writing Motivation of Students with Specific Language Impairments

This study was designed to compare the writing motivation of students with specific language impairments with their non-disabled peers. Due to the cognitive and linguistic demands of the writing process, students with language impairments face unique difficulties during the writing process. It was hypothesized that students with specific language impairments will be more likely to report lower levels of perceived writing competence and be less autonomously motivated to write. Students in grades 3-5 in 11 schools (33 with specific language impairments, 242 non-disabled peers) completed self-report measures, designed from a Self-Determination Theory perspective, which measured the degree that students are intrinsically motivated to write as well as their perceived writing competence. Statistical analyses showed that (1) students with specific language impairments reported lower levels of perceived writing competence and autonomous writing motivation; (2) SLI status was a significant predictor of perceived writing competence after spelling, grade, and gender were controlled; and (3) when spelling, grade, and gender were controlled, perceived writing competence was a significant predictor of autonomous writing motivation, but SLI status was not. The results of this study are expected to inform the current understanding of the relationship between language ability and writing motivation in students with specific language impairments, as well as the design of future writing interventions.
