Flutuação populacional de Anastrepha fraterculus (Wiedemann, 1830) (Diptera, Tephritidae) na Região Oeste de Santa Catarina, Brasil

Fruit flies are the major pests in fruit orchards and require a frequent insecticide aplication control, which increases production cost and chemical residues in fruits. Adults of Anastrepha fraterculus were sampled from twelve peach, plum, orange, tangerine and acid lime orchards in four counties in the Western Region of Santa Catarina. Modified McPhail plastic traps, baited with glucose 10%, were used to collect the flies from October 1998 to September 2000. Trap monitoring, bait replacement and fruit flies sorting by species and sex were done weekly. A total of 4,164 specimens of A. fraterculus was collected and highest population was registered in the county of Chapecó (64,8% of all sampled flies). Adults were collected all year long, with the highest population peaks occurring from December and January, although the fluctuation was different for each fruit species due to their particular phenology and in different years. Positive correlation among temperature, atmospheric humidity and population levels of adults of A. fraterculus was observed. According to the degree days obtained for each year, 4851.9, 4632.9 and 4983.7, respectively in 1998, 1999 and 2000, it was established that A. fraterculus could present an average of 11.2 generations a year.

A pertinência de uma Escola Técnica/Profissionalizante no Concelho de Santa Cruz

Revela-se de grande importância a implantação de uma Escola Técnica/Profissionalizante no Concelho de Santa Cruz, visto que essa escola irá colmatar as carências do Concelho em termo de quadros do nível técnico e intermédio. Aliás essa escola poderá servir como alternativa para os jovens do Concelho bem como aos jovens dos outros Concelhos vizinhos que queiram optar pela via técnica, que concluíram o ensino secundário e aos que por uma outra razão tiveram de interromper os seus estudos.

Sistema de Cobrança - Caso Câmara Municipal de Santa Catarina.

Este trabalho corresponde o desenvolvimento de uma pesquisa que investiga a cobrança das receitas municipais na Câmara Municipal de Santa Catarina de Santiago. Com a abordagem deste tema ambiciona -se reflectir sobre a importância das receitas arrecadadas para o referido município. Pretende-se ainda, identificar os constrangimentos que se vêm registando na cobrança dessas receitas, o seu peso no Orçamento e a apresentação de algumas propostas alternativas para a sua melhoria. Neste trabalho fez-se uma criteriosa pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, nomeadamente nos livros, revistas, artigos, legislação vigente, regulamentos e, entre outros documentos publicados na Internet.

Interference of Native Language in English Language Acquisition in Santa Cruz and Calheta Secondary schools

This study analyzes the interference of native language when students are learning a foreign language, in this case English. According to this study, interferences from the native language such as lexical-semantic and phonological are not infrequent. It is one of the main barriers that create difficulties when learning English. The outcome of this study is presented at the end of the Monografia: to provide English-language teachers and students the most significant linguistic interferences that occur during the learning process of English language. Furthermore, some teaching strategies are discussed to avoid the biases that appear due to the interferences of the native language. As a result of this study, I hope to contribute to the learning success among English-language students.
