Antecedentes de los grandes proyectos de irrigación en el llanto del Alto Ampurdán. La opción fracasada de los grandes regadíos catalanes del siglo XIX

Durante el siglo XIX se ejecutan en Catalunya proyectos de grandes regadíos en las tierras con mejores aptitudes para ello, como son las de la Depresión Central leridana, las del delta del Ebro o las del Bajo Llobregat. La excepción será la llanura del Ampurdán, concretamente, su mitad norte. No obstante, la profusión de intentos es elevada, aunque ninguno dará resultados prácticos hasta los años 60 del siglo XX. Esto ha reforzado su desconocimiento y, mediante el artículo, se quiere paliar este déficit. En primer lugar, se repasan algunos de los viajeros y eruditos que, entre los siglos XVII y XIX, facilitaron datos sobre los riegos existentes y algunas propuestas para mejorarlos. A continuación se analizarán los tres intentos más significativos para ampliarlos durante la segunda mitad del XIX. Se abordarán sus objetivos, sus peculiaridades, sus promotores, los discursos que los justificaron y los motivos de su fracaso

Fa 20 anys que la ràdio española gaudeix de la libertad informativa que li va ser negada durant la dictadura. En aquests 20 anys, l’evolució del macro-gènere información ens ha portat des de l’anomenat “boom de la ràdio informativa” fins al naixement, al nostre país, de les primeres emissores dedicades íntegrament a la información, en primer lloc, Catalunya Informació, i més tard, Radio 5 Todo Noticias. El que pretenem amb aquest estudié s tractar del naixement i la consolidació del primer format radiofònic informatiu, un format sobre el qual no hi ha encara gaires referències bibliogràfiques.

Vessana a Vessana. Reflexions sobre la pràctica dels establiments emfitèutics a la regió de Girona (segles XVIII-XIX)

Tenim documentats més de 30.000 contractes d'establiment emfitèutic (la majoria, amb caràcter de subestabliment) concedits a la regió de Girona (actuals comarques del Baix i de l'Alt Empordà, del Gironès i de La Selva) entre 1768 i 1862, anys en què van ser inscrits en els llibres del Registre d’hipoteques. Sabem que durant aquests mateixos anys se'n concediren molts més, ja que ens manca la informació relativa a l'ofici de Figueres entre 1774 i 1806 i la comarca de l’Alt Empordà va concentrar un 40% dels establiments concedits entre 1806 i 1862. És molt possible, doncs, que el nombre total s'apropés als 35.000. La xifra no és negligible; a mitjan segle XIX vivien a la regió unes cinquanta mil famílies. Es fa necessari, doncs, reflexionar sobre aquesta pràctica

El posicionament de l’home davant del seu patrimoni cultural i artísticen cada moment històric, i el respecte per les mostres del passat, defi neix de quina formaes conservarà, o no, i també de quina forma s’hi intervindrà. Per fer un recorregut històriccal tenir en compte tots els aspectes que infl uencien en el fet de conservar i en la forma defer-ho: els gustos artístics del moment, l’evolució social i econòmica de la població i també lavessant funcional, ja sigui en el sentit estrictament pràctic on en el valor espiritual i religiós,que han tingut assignats molts objectes de patrimoni.

El mercat del vi espanyol als Estats Units

L’objecte d’estudi d’aquest projecte final, és el mercat del vi espanyol als Estats Units. Es tracta d’un mercat relativament jove degut a que la cultura del vi per un nord-americà amb una renda mitja es nova. Encara així, els Estats Units es el tercer país amb major consum per volum del món. Per tal de poder entendre millor aquest mercat, s’estudiaran les diferents característiques del país, les regions on es produeix el vi i la seva distribució i els diferents agents que s’impliquen en aquest procés en el país. Un cop analitzat els aspectes econòmics i les característiques més importants d’Estats Units, es realitzarà una anàlisi de l’oferta i de la demanda del sector del vi en aquest país per poder realitzar una comparativa més endavant amb el mercat del vi espanyol i de la perspectiva que es té a Estats Units sobre aquest tipus de vi. Un aspecte molt important que s’ha observat es la dificultat d’accés al mercat del vi a Estats Units. Per això, s’ha dedicat un capítol sencer a analitzar els diferents controls i regulacions que s’han de tenir en compte alhora d’importar vi a aquest país americà. Per últim, es realitza un anàlisi del mercat del vi espanyol i la perspectiva que es té dels vins espanyols a Estats Units. En aquest capítol s’analitzarà sobre tot la producció, el consum i les exportacions espanyoles i s’explicarà amb detall el concepte de denominacions d’origen.
