O texto trata da articulação entre o nacional-desenvolvimentismo presente na produção cultural da década de 1950 e a pauta, essencialmente acadêmica e científica, proposta pela chamada escola de sociologia uspiana, sob o comando de Florestan Fernandes. Pretende-se demonstrar que, a despeito da aparente incongurência das duas proposições, na conjuntura de radicalização política e ideológica que se desenvolveu no período e em virtude da leitura de Marx efetivada pelos discípulos de Fernandes, ocorreu um deslocamento desse grupo para uma posição de esquerda que o aproximou, ainda que criticamente, dos temas hegemônicos à época.

O livro Ensino de ciências e matemática III: contribuições da pesquisa acadêmica a partir de múltiplas perspectivas, publicado pela Cultura Acadêmica Editora, tem como objetivo comunicar e oferecer ao debate alguns resultados recentes da produção de pesquisa do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação para a Ciência da UNESP, vinculado à Faculdade de Ciências do Campus de Bauru (SP). Assim, reúne, para acesso de pesquisadores, professores e estudantes, nove relatos oriundos de trabalhos de mestrado, doutorado, pós-doutorado e similares, desenvolvidos junto ao referido Programa, e passíveis de contribuir para a discussão e encaminhamento de uma série de questões atuais do ensino de ciências.
Resumo:
This qualitative study of descriptive and exploratory nature was conducted with the aim of evaluating the contribution of university extension towards the training and life histories of dentistry students, using the focus group technique. The material was assessed using the collective subject discourse analysis technique. The results showed the impact exerted by academic experience, in extension activities within the personal, professional and active citizenship spheres. The subjects' perceptions revealed an opportunity to develop and improve their professional skills, through recognition of distinct realities of life, through breaking away from the traditional model of teaching and through fruitful relationships between students, university and society. Feelings of satisfaction, personal fulfillment, recognition and being an active and critical citizen were reported. It was concluded that experience within the field of extension is an important agent for the individual and collective process of academic training.

Aiming to contribute to understanding the Brazilian academic production on literacy, theses and dissertations on the subject, completed between 1965 and 2011, are analyzed. Situating them in the historical process of constitution of literacy as an object of study, since the 19th. century, beyond the political and historical context of origin in the 1960s, the following contexts are focused, especially from the 1980s, when begins the process of expansion in terms of amount of this academic production and geographic diversity as well as areas of expertise of the graduate programs in which they were defended. While these advances confirm the importance of approaches that consider the interdisciplinary and multifaceted character of literacy, there are contradictions that present significant challenges to researchers seeking both understand the permanence of motivations and pragmatic purposes as to proposing new themes, objects, theoretical and methodological aspects for the development of new research that are lacking, as diagnosed needs and desired progress, scientifically and socially.

This work describes and contextualizes the PROESF - Special Program for Teacher Training Exercise in the early grades of elementary school and children education in municipal schools of metropolitan region of Campinas. The PROESF was organized by University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and remained from 2002 to 2005 graduated about 1600 teachers. The objetives of this course was provide pedagogy formation to teachers in activity in elementary schools and children schools from municipalities of this region. The course also intended to improve the quality of the education and teachers formation. At the final part of course, the teachers had to elaborating a memorial of formation. These materials can be accessed on the website of UNICAMP. The contribution of these memorial of formations can help to think about the teachers formation. This study was a qualitative research from these materials for 2008, and the objective is to identify the marks the formation perceived by these teachers and contributions for them formation. It is understood by marks the formation school memories significant for this group of teachers, stressing the points of what the academic formation contributes for the teacher in day-to-day in the school and what life in the classroom as a teacher marked the teaching practice. This work aims to understand the ways that have led Brazilian geographers to use the gender category as an analytic element in other to understand the production of space, through the theoretical perspective of Feminist Geographies. Thus, it is important to consider, in the history of geographical science, the theoretical and methodological foundations which enabled the inclusion of gender in researches, since this subject belongs to the field of Anthropology and Sociology and it rarely appears in geographical investigations. It is understood that the gender, as an analytical category of intertwined social relation of space, comprising not only the femininity as well as masculinity and transexualities, analyzed in a relational perspective. However , greater emphasis on the understanding of woman as an agent of space will occur, due to the importance of taking the role of women in building the world out of the hidden of history. Therefore, some works produced in Geography in Brazil will be presented and discussed in order to give visibility on the treatment of space and gender relationship

The education is a fundamental part of a human life, extrapolating formal aspects and can be experienced in different existence activities. When the education is analyzed under a cultural context, it's noticed the influence of the education on docent and students formation, being the reproduction of this context. Thus, three aims were stablished: a) revise Marx literature about alienation; b) analyze and compare the understanding of alienation in Bauman's and Castoriadis' theory; c) suggest, from the theoretical readings, a search path in education area. For this purpose, a simple theoretical research was performed, showing the recurrent categories found in a literature review. Besides, the current context is discussed from a sociological and pedagogical point of view, focusing on raise important questioning for the educational area. The results pointed out that in a society characterized by liquid pragmatism, the students turn out to reflect their current society. It is expected - inside the limit of this study - to contributing to the formation of an education more aware of its culture that surrounds them

The present study represents a qualitative thesis, characterized as a case study, which uses the method of the present approach. In addressing the academic home in physical education, there is the constancy of the discussions regarding the curriculum and professional formatting. In view of the curriculum modifications to fit the new legislation, and the fact they are few studies related to private institutions that offer such courses, which offer even greater number of courses when compared to public institutions aimed to investigate and analyze the professional profiles, curricular goals and flows contained in the pedagogical projects of courses bachelor degree in physical education and a private institution of higher education of the State of São Paulo, as well as verifying the existence and adequacy of articulation to the institutional educational project and the institutional development plan. Compounding the literature review discussed the key historical facts relating to courses in physical education in our country, and its path to the current model. Also presented was the law of physical education courses in force in Brazil and some concepts about teaching course projects and their relationship to other institutional documents. Techniques were used to review and document analysis, with primary source documents of their own and other government institution. It found a lack of interest of some private institutions of higher education in official documents available for this type of research, which is bad since there are more courses offered by them compared to public institutions. As for the degree course for training teachers of physical education, found lack of specificity regarding the differentiation between content and the bachelor, which ends up deviating from the expectations contained in the course to the one presented in the curriculum. Thus, it becomes a need for greater collaboration of private institutions of higher education...
