O processo de desenvolvimento de produto reconhecido pela literatura como sendo de importncia estratgica, mas, apesar disso, existe uma grande dificuldade para se gerenciar este processo, devido a existncia de diversas vises parciais sobre sua abrangncia e importncia, as quais dificultam a integrao entre os profissionais que atuam nessa rea. No campo de ensino e pesquisa esse fenmeno tambm ocorre, pois o desenvolvimento de produtos tratado de maneira incompleta pelas diferentes reas de conhecimento especializado, criando vises parciais que apresentam linguagem e caractersticas prprias, as quais dificultam um entendimento comum dos aspectos desse processo. Para enfrentar esta situao, esse trabalho apresenta a experincia de grupos de pesquisa que formaram uma comunidade de prtica em desenvolvimento de produtos, chamada PDPNet (Product Development Process Network), visando minimizar essas vises parciais. Para isso, os membros de tal comunidade envolveram-se no desenvolvimento de iniciativas e atividades conjuntas e tm a sua disposio um portal de conhecimentos para favorecer a sinergia entre os membros, apoiando o ambiente voltado cooperao e facilitando a troca e criao de conhecimentos, o que objetivo primordial de uma comunidade de prtica. Este trabalho visa relatar e analisar criticamente as caractersticas principais da PDPNet, enfocando sua formao, estabelecimento, gesto das iniciativas e atividades para criao de conhecimentos, bem como a tecnologia de informação utilizada. Com esse trabalho, espera-se divulgar essa experincia para o meio acadmico e empresarial interessado, de forma que suas prticas possam ser propagadas e as dificuldades consideradas. Alm disso, espera-se que a anlise crtica permita obter subsdios para que seus principais benefcios e dificuldades possam ser identificados e tratados pelos gestores da comunidade.

A Educao para a Conservao um campo de pesquisa que se dedica ao estudo das reflexes ticas e das atitudes humanas direcionadas para com o respeito que se deve ter com o ambiente, principalmente pelo estabelecimento de aes conservacionistas pautadas em interaes educativas. Os Zoos, de modo geral, esto inseridos nessa perspectiva, uma vez que se apresentam como instituies de cunho educativo voltadas para a conservao da biodiversidade. No entanto, o discurso expositivo apresentado por esses aparatos culturais no Brasil, muitas vezes, no contempla tais elementos em suas exposies. Por este motivo, buscou-se a anlise de exposies zoolgicas tambm no exterior, que contemplassem discursos sobre a conservao da biodiversidade em suas exposies, tendo sido escolhida a exposio do Zoo de Barcelona, Espanha, para a realizao desta investigao. A pesquisa teve por objetivos compreender como a conservao da biodiversidade abordada na exposio deste zoolgico catalo, com base na formulao de saberes de referncia constitudos a partir de diferentes reas: os Movimentos Ambientalistas, a Filosofia da Conservao e as ticas Ambientais. Igualmente, buscou-se compreender como o discurso expositivo sobre conservao encontra-se apresentado nos aparatos expogrficos distribudos ao longo da exposio, bem como em livros e documentos. Compreendendo a investigao como um Estudo de Caso, foram acessados documentos institucionais de acesso pblico encontrados no site da instituio e textos presentes nos painis expositivos. As anlises foram realizadas com base no referencial terico da Transposio Didtica/Museogrfica, que permite o estudo da exposio por ao menos trs lgicas: a lgica do discurso; a lgica do espao; e a lgica do gesto. Alm disso, o mesmo referencial prev o estabelecimento de um saber de referncia ou saber sbio pautado no conhecimento epistemolgico sobre a conservao da biodiversidade e, nesta pesquisa, no discurso de pesquisadores da rea, que foram entrevistados sobre este assunto. Este saber de referncia ou saber sbio possibilitou a criao de um conjunto de categorias de anlise que pautou a anlise do discurso expositivo apresentado pelo Zoo de Barcelona. As categorias criadas foram classificadas em duas dimenses: a dos Valores e a das Aes. Duas categorias, a Antropocntrica e a No antropocntrica constituram a Dimenso dos Valores e quatro categorias, a Desenvolvimentista, a Sustentabilista, a Scio-humanstica e a Tcnico-cientfica constituram a Dimenso das Aes. Os resultados apontaram que o discurso expositivo composto predominantemente por informaes Tcnico-cientficas e Sustentabilistas, ambas as categorias contextualizadas por uma viso no antropocntrica de valorizao da natureza. A forma como o discurso expositivo encontra-se apresentado na parte textual da exposio corrobora a linha conceitual de assuntos abordados nos grandes eventos globais promovidos pela ONU ao longo dos ltimos 40 anos, sobre a conservao do meio ambiente. Categorias como a Scio-humanstica, a Antropocntrica e a Dimenso dos Valores foram pouco abordadas. A categoria Desenvolvimentista no foi encontrada na exposio. Pelas evidncias levantadas durante a anlise dos dados pode-se concluir que o Zoo de Barcelona apresenta um discurso expositivo conservacionista e que h elementos suficientes na exposio para se apontar o desenvolvimento de uma Educao para a Conservao.

Esta dissertao apresenta um estudo exploratrio sobre a experincia de implantao de um sistema digital de segurana. O estudo teve como locus a Guarda Civil Metropolitana de So Paulo e o objetivo geral da pesquisa analisar o uso das tecnologias da informação e comunicao no campo operacional da organizao. Primeiramente foi realizada a pesquisa bibliogrfica para rastreamento de temas anlogos. Foi possvel verificar a escassez de estudos sobre as tecnologias da informação e comunicao na Segurana Pblica no Brasil. Dos raros trabalhos encontrados o que deu inspirao para essa pesquisa foi o experimento realizado em Braslia, na rea de Gesto do Conhecimento e da Tecnologia da Informação, que investigou a integrao de sistemas de info rmaes na Segurana Pblica do Distrito Federal. Para a realizao deste estudo de caso adotou-se a metodologia qualitativa com pesquisas bibliogrfica, documental e de campo (entrevistas e observaes diretas). Os resultados obtidos demonstram a necessidade de investimentos em tecnologias da informação e comunicao, objetivando a integrao e a interoperabilidade das organizaes de Segurana Pblica. Os resultados tambm confirmaram os achados em pesquisas e estudos sobre a violncia urbana que apontam que s os investimentos na estrutura tcnica, em pessoal, em gesto de segurana, chamada poltica de combate violncia e criminalidade, no resolve. preciso urgncia na gesto de polticas pblicas integradas para combater as causas provocativas da violncia e da criminalidade que so a misria crescente, o desemprego, a falta de servios pblicos eficientes, em especial no setor da sade e da educao e a ausncia de polticas sociais, todos entendidos como violncia.(AU)

The information constitutes one of the most valuable strategic assets for the organization. However, the organizational environment in which it is inserted is very complex and heterogeneous, making emerging issues relevant to the Governance of information technology (IT) and Information Security. Academic Studies and market surveys indicate that the origin of most accidents with the information assets is the behavior of people organization itself rather than external attacks. Taking as a basis the promotion of a culture of safety among users and ensuring the protection of information in their properties of confidentiality, integrity and availability, organizations must establish its Information Security Policy (PSI). This policy is to formalise the guidelines in relation to the security of corporate information resources, in order to avoid that the asset vulnerabilities are exploited by threats and can bring negative consequences to the business. But, for the PSI being effective, it is required that the user have readiness to accept and follow the procedures and safety standards. In the light of this context, the present study aims to investigate what are the motivators extrinsic and intrinsic that affect the willingness of the user to be in accordance with the organization's security policies. The theoretical framework addresses issues related to IT Governance, Information Security, Theory of deterrence, Motivation and Behavior Pro-social. It was created a theoretical model based on the studies of Herath and Rao (2009) and D'Arcy, Hovav and Galletta (2009) that are based on General Deterrence Theory and propose the following influencing factors in compliance with the Policy: Severity of Punishment, Certainty of Detection, Peer Behaviour, Normative Beliefs, Perceived Effectiveness and Moral Commitment. The research used a quantitative approach, descriptive. The data were collected through a questionnaire with 18 variables with a Likert scale of five points representing the influencing factors proposed by the theory. The sample was composed of 391 students entering the courses from the Center for Applied Social Sciences of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. For the data analysis, were adopted the techniques of Exploratory Factor Analysis, Analysis of Cluster hierarchical and nonhierarchical, Logistic Regression and Multiple Linear Regression. As main results, it is noteworthy that the factor severity of punishment is what contributes the most to the theoretical model and also influences the division of the sample between users more predisposed and less prone. As practical implication, the research model applied allows organizations to provide users less prone and, with them, to carry out actions of awareness and training directed and write Security Policies more effective.

This paper intends to analyze which contribution for teachers formative training the participation on extension projects can bring to the bachelors in Mathematics teaching. The research was conducted during the developing of a Project from the Program of Extension - Programa de Extenso UFU/Comunidade (PEIC) in a municipal school located in a country zone from Uberlndia-MG. The research was constituted by a series of activities with students from the ninth year of the Fundamental Education, Middle School. The main focus is the work developed by two bachelors of Mathemactics teaching from the Federal University from Uberlndia who were part of the PEIC team. This present research intends to answer the following question: How the extension project Information technology and communication on Mathematics problem resolution in country zone schools has contribited to reinforce and to (re)criate the fomative experiences of students from the Mathematics teaching course who have developed such project? The presente study is from a qualitative nature and has made use of the partaker searching methodology. The presente paper was organized in three chapters. On chapter I evidence is given to theoretical discussion made, having as main references the works of Larrosa, Ponte e Shn. Chapter II brings the description of the three activities that were developed and aplied during the PEIC Project, which are: Problems in the Park, Inaccessible Hight and Lili Game. On chapter III, the data analysis is presented. The data was obtained through instruments of registration such as: camera recording, photografic material, meetings reports, field notes, surveys and semi-structured interviews. The initial hypothesis aim is on the fact that the participation on extention projects during the graduation course can bring rich contribution for the teachers to be, since its going to provide the knowledge and chalenge close to the one from the future profession. With the analysis of the obtained results from the colected data, it was possible to conclude that the PEIC has provided the bachelors in Mathematics teching the opportunity of recreate and potenciate their formative experiences. Such opportunity happened in situations that involved, for example, planning makings, development of colective work, softwares usage, different school spaces and the direct interaction with school bureaucracy. Beyond that, it was possible to work with the cocepts of reflection in action in a way to contribute to the professional development of the future Mathematics teachers. Thereby, in our final considerations, is possible to conclude that extension projects performed during the graduation course can bring great contributions to the professional formation of the bachelors in Mathematics teaching, among them we highlight the potentiation of the previous formative experiences and the development of colective work and behavior related to a reflexive teacher.

O mercado atual das instituies do ensino superior (IES) caraterizado pela forte concorrncia, o que chama a estas instituies uma necessidade de serem cada vez mais eficazes, oferecendo melhores servios sem ter que desperdiar os recursos cada vez mais escassos. A reengenharia de processos de negcios (BPR) oferece s instituies do ensino superior a possibilidade de repensarem os seus processos, eliminando as ineficincias dos servios prestados sua comunidade acadmica e serem cada vez mais competitivas ao nvel de qualidade e preo. Este estudo tem como objetivo caraterizar os processos, a sua importncia, o tempo despendido na realizao destes processos e saber as possibilidades de automatizao dos processos ou se o processo pode ser realizado por um colaborador administrativo com vista reengenharia. Concentramos o nosso estudo na coordenao dos cursos da Escola Superior da Tecnologia e Gesto (ESTG) porque a coordenao dos cursos so a espinha dorsal da ESTG Leiria. Foi realizado uma reviso da literatura sobre o conceito de Processos, a sua importncia e as diferentes formas de os descrever e ainda abordmos o conceito da reengenharia de processos, os desafios a que se prope e a reengenharia de processos nas instituies do ensino superior. Foram realizados dois inquritos aos 29 coordenadores dos cursos da ESTG Leiria, entre os quais 16 licenciaturas e 13 mestrados, onde se obteve, no primeiro, 15 respostas vlidas e no segundo 14 respostas vlidas. A metodologia utilizada o estudo de caso; podemos ver que esta metodologia traz resultados, permitindo constatar, neste estudo, que possvel reduzir o nmero de horas despendidas para a realizao dos processos de coordenao dos cursos, que alguns processos podem ser automatizados e tambm que existem processos de coordenao dos cursos que podem ser realizados pelos colaboradores administrativos

The Information Technology (IT) is increasing his applicability to business, both private and public companies. It is necessary the adequate use of the new technologies and get cooperation and technology acceptance of the system. People tend to resist to the changes, contributing so that the technology is rejected or even it is not recognized as promoting of the changes. This study is relevant and aim to evaluate the impacts of new technologies, considering their users as fundamental factors in the change process. The survey analyzed the advantages and the barriers of the system use in three federal special judicial of Rio Grande do Norte, with data collected in May of 2007, through the application of questionnaires to thirty eight users of the virtual system CRETA. The users' perception was evaluated, under the optics of five variables: efficiency, image, agility, ease of use and quality. Starting from the obtained results, it was evidenced that the implementation of the system felt accordingly the expected and it reached the objectives intended that were: the velocity and efficiency in the path of the lawsuits, larger productivity, resulting in a better quality of the final work introduced to the citizen and proportionate an improvement in the organizational image of the judiciary power

In recent decades the public sector comes under pressure in order to improve its performance. The use of Information Technology (IT) has been a tool increasingly used in reaching that goal. Thus, it has become an important issue in public organizations, particularly in institutions of higher education, determine which factors influence the acceptance and use of technology, impacting on the success of its implementation and the desired organizational results. The Technology Acceptance Model - TAM was used as the basis for this study and is based on the constructs perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. However, when it comes to integrated management systems due to the complexity of its implementation,organizational factors were added to thus seek further explanation of the acceptance of such systems. Thus, added to the model five TAM constructs related to critical success factors in implementing ERP systems, they are: support of top management, communication, training, cooperation, and technological complexity (BUENO and SALMERON, 2008). Based on the foregoing, launches the following research problem: What factors influence the acceptance and use of SIE / module academic at the Federal University of Para, from the users' perception of teachers and technicians? The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of organizational factors, and behavioral antecedents of behavioral intention to use the SIE / module academic UFPA in the perspective of teachers and technical users. This is applied research, exploratory and descriptive, quantitative with the implementation of a survey, and data collection occurred through a structured questionnaire applied to a sample of 229 teachers and 30 technical and administrative staff. Data analysis was carried out through descriptive statistics and structural equation modeling with the technique of partial least squares (PLS). Effected primarily to assess the measurement model, which were verified reliability, convergent and discriminant validity for all indicators and constructs. Then the structural model was analyzed using the bootstrap resampling technique like. In assessing statistical significance, all hypotheses were supported. The coefficient of determination (R ) was high or average in five of the six endogenous variables, so the model explains 47.3% of the variation in behavioral intention. It is noteworthy that among the antecedents of behavioral intention (BI) analyzed in this study, perceived usefulness is the variable that has a greater effect on behavioral intention, followed by ease of use (PEU) and attitude (AT). Among the organizational aspects (critical success factors) studied technological complexity (TC) and training (ERT) were those with greatest effect on behavioral intention to use, although these effects were lower than those produced by behavioral factors (originating from TAM). It is pointed out further that the support of senior management (TMS) showed, among all variables, the least effect on the intention to use (BI) and was followed by communications (COM) and cooperation (CO), which exert a low effect on behavioral intention (BI). Therefore, as other studies on the TAM constructs were adequate for the present research. Thus, the study contributed towards proving evidence that the Technology Acceptance Model can be applied to predict the acceptance of integrated management systems, even in public. The study aims to identify the factors that influence the behavior intention to adopt an academic Information System (SIE), in an environment of mandatory use, applied in the procurement process at the Federal University of Par (UFPA). For this, it was used a model of innovation adoption and technology acceptance (TAM), focused in attitudes and intentions regarding the behavior intention. The research was conducted a quantitative survey, through survey in a sample of 96 administrative staff of the researched institution. For data analysis, it was used structural equation modeling (SEM), using the partial least squares method (Partial Least Square PLS-PM). As to results, the constructs attitude and subjective norms were confirmed as strong predictors of behavioral intention in a pre-adoption stage. Despite the use of SIE is required, the perceived voluntariness also predicts the behavior intention. Regarding attitude, classical variables of TAM, like as ease of use and perceived usefulness, appear as the main influence of attitude towards the system. It is hoped that the results of this study may provide subsidies for more efficient management of the process of implementing systems and information technologies, particularly in public universities
