There is in the literature a divergent description between lexical knowledge and word production accuracy. The aims of this study were: (a) to investigate the influence (effect) of the word lexical knowledge over production accuracy; (b) in case there is, to characterize acoustically this interference. Eight children (5-6 years old) with typical development language participated of this study. The methodological procedure consisted of: (a) survey of the children lexical knowledge concerning to IAFAC���s words; (b) recordings of the IAFAC���s words; (c) identifi cation and characterization of the linguistic cues, by acoustic analysis, in the IAFAC���s word production in function of the different knowledge degrees. Our results suggest a negative correlation (r=-0,13, p=0,000) between lexical knowledge and presence of the linguistics cues in word���s production. However, the linguistics cues refer to hesitative cues instead of phonological errors. Implications of these results for clinical practicing are discussed.

A Comiss��o Nacional da Verdade e os Militares Perseguidos: desafios de um passado no tempo presente e futuro

This essay aims to grasp the historical and contemporary issues related to the military personnel who were persecuted, their struggles and motivations over the period 1946-1988. Advocates as hypothesis that its political intervention is a legitimate expression of a presence in the defense of democracy in Brazil. But not only: the militant intervention of this group for national causes also refers to a diagnosis, which represents a challenge to many working groups of the Comiss��o Nacional da Verdade, especially when taking into account the number of military personnel persecuted or the selective specifi city of the repression that fell on them.

Flutua����o na segmenta����o de palavras: rela����es entre constituintes pros��dicos e conven����es ortogr��ficas na escrita infantil

In this paper, we analyzed situations where (a) one vocabular structure showed in two di���erent ways in the same text or (b) had erasures. These structures ���uctuations were extracted from texts written by children that, when the registers were done, were second graders of elementary school. Concerning the results, we veri���ed: (1) that more than one prosodic constituent showed in the basis of ���uctuation of vocabulary structures; and (2) that at least one of the limits of orthographic words was maintained in ���uctuation structures. These results point to the recuperation done by writers with information they have access due to their insertion in (1) oral practices and (2) literacy practices.

Regimes Militares e a Seguran��a Nacional no Cone Sul

The implantation of military regimes in South America, from the mid-1960s, happened in the context of the Cold War. As a result, both the occurrence of military coups and the plans and actions for the national defense of the Southern Cone States occurred following the logic of that period and the concept of hemispheric defense preached by the United States, with priority in combating the so-called internal subversion. Thus, the need to combat the ���internal enemy��� has led these countries to participate in hemispheric mechanisms or create his own arrangements for coordination. The article starts from the conflict hypothesis used by the military governments in their military planning to analyze the actions carried out against leftist movements, including coordination between the governments of the Southern Cone. The understanding of the defense concepts against Soviet communism allows us to understand that the groups placed against the military governments were seen as a danger to the State and, in that ���state of war���, the means justified the ends.

O conto de Rubens Figueiredo em As palavras secretas: conto contempor��neo

We work with the storybook, As Palavras Secretas, written by carioca Rubens Figueiredo. We treat, then, the Brazilian contemporary tale. For we study the writer���s fiction, first we met a critical bibliography about the narrative and a set of diverse texts: reports, articles, press releases, interviews and essays about the author���s work. We discourse characteristics and the compositional elements of each story and noticed that they are full of symbolism and various elements that they are recurrent. Some of these narratives deal with fragmentation of the man who, indeed, is a very striking feature in the actual Brazilian tale. We meet, then, with characters who feel the need to simulate an identity and that, therefore, coexist with a strong inner conflict. Three of the tales include the unlikelihood of that work, and present, therefore, elements that escape from reality. Finally, Rubens Figueiredo, in As Palavras Secretas, presented us narratives rather elongated, unlike what was ordinary in the category of the tale, which it usually consists of a short extension narrative

Sistema de recomenda����o de produtos online baseado em palavras-chave

This project aims to explore the many methods used for the development of recommendation systems to user ��� s items and apply the content - based recommendation method on a prototype system whose purpose is to recommend books to users. This paper exposes the most popular methods for creating systems capable of providing items (products) according to user preferences, such as collaborat ive filtering and content - based. It also point different techniques that can be applied to calculate the similarity between two entities, for items or users, as the Pearson ���s method, calculating the cosine of vectors and more recently, a proposal to use a Bayesian system under a Dirichlet distribution. In addition, this work has the purpose to go through various points on the design of an online application, or a website, dealing not only oriented algorithms issues, but also the definition of development to ols and techniques to improve the user���s experience. The tools used for the development of the page are listed, and a topic about web design is also discussed in order to emphasize the importance of the layout of the application. At the end, some examples of recommender systems are presented for curiosity , learning and research purposes
