The choice Brazilian african study theme in the general education, and particularly in physical education has not advanced as to be themed with the subject matter. Even open to this issue, in 2003 a law was passed introducing an obligation of racial ethnic correlations in Brazil. Law 10.639, changed the LDB (Guidelines and Framework Act, 1996) and establishing the obligation both in elementary school as high school, public and private, the teaching of history and African Culture and African Brazilian. As the main objective of disseminating the importance of valuing the African culture and its legacy, expanding the looks and the knowledge about the culture and history of a people who often are discriminated against and excluded by society. The questions that arise are the following: The physical education teacher know that prerogative? Incorporates the Brazilian african discussion in their classes? Discusses with students these subjects related to corporal practices? Have difficulty in dealing with this issue? What? Thus the aim of this study was to detect whether and how a group of physical education teachers is the Brazilian african theme in their classes, for the fulfillment of the Law 10.639 / 03. The methodology of this study was qualitative descriptive type. Were used for data collection semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation. The data obtained through interviews with teachers were transcribed, reviewed and classified according to the content analysis. It is concluded that the racial ethnic theme is not systematically addressed in physical education classes when they are treated, is superficially when proposed by the curriculum of

This study aims to analyze the implementation of mediation in the school environment of São Paulo State Education Network through the figure of Teacher School and Community Mediator (PMEC). Mediation arises, as an alternative and effective method for conflict resolution from existing interpersonal relationships at school. The methodology used was the exploratory and empirical research literature on the subject mediation and the analysis of the resolutions of the Secretariat of São Paulo State Education establishing the School Protection System (SPE) and made possible the performance of the PMEC within that environment. Authors like Bonafé-Schmitt (2010); Caetano, Freire and Ferreira (2009); Calcaterra (2002); Freire (2010); Jares (2002); Lederach (1996); Littlejohn and Domenici (1999); Morgado and Oliveira (2009); Torremorell (2008) and Vecchi and Greco (1999) were selected in order to provide greater familiarity with the subject mediation and conflict mediation later in the school environment. The concept of mediation, mediation templates and profiles of mediators will be explained as well as PMEC function features as regards the selection methods training main assisted cases, assignments that are stipulated by the guiding documents and what actually happens in daily practice verified the reports obtained through a semi-structured interview. Finally, we present the PMEC situation regarding the review by the leaders and attended school community and the acceptance of their work within that environment

Antes de tornar-se um romancista internacionalmente reconhecido, Daniel Pennac foi professor de francês no ensino fundamental e médio de escolas públicas francesas. E antes de tornar-se professor, Pennac havia sido o que os franceses, pejorativamente, chamavam de “cancre”: um aluno lerdo, com dificuldades de aprendizagem e cujo desempenho sempre beira o sofrível. Foi da dor da memória desse tempo de aluno estigmatizado como incapaz e sem futuro e da esperança de suas lutas como professor de jovens tão estigmatizados como ele que brotou sua decisão de escrever Chagrin d’école (no Brasil publicado com o título Diário de escola, que omite um elemento central da obra: a “dor” ou “tristeza” que costuma marcar a experiência escolar desses jovens). Ao narrar as dificuldades pelas quais passou e ao refletir sobre seu trabalho junto a alunos das periferias de Paris, Pennac toma o ponto de vista daqueles que, por não aprenderem no mesmo ritmo de seus colegas, já não mais se reconhecem no direito de aprender e tornam-se cativos desse lugar social: o do aluno que encarna o fracasso escolar e, ao assim fazer, exibe à escola e ao professor sua inaptidão para ensinar. Uma inaptidão cujo potencial efeito mobilizador tem sido neutralizado pelas certezas das explicações sociológicas que nos asseguram que seu fracasso é fruto da baixa escolaridade dos pais e de suas condições de vida. Explicações que, ao lado das lamúrias moralizantes e dos diagnósticos psicológicos, asseguram à escola e ao professor que eles estão isentos da responsabilidade por esses destinos.

Este artículo se centra en el análisis de redes personales digitales de un grupo de adolescentes del último año de una escuela secundaria de gestión privada en Mendoza, Argentina. Se escogió Facebook porque es la red más difundida entre ellos. El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar las redes de Facebook de adolescentes de una escuela con una fuerte implementación de las TIC y comprender las percepciones que tienen sobre sus vinculaciones digitales. La recolección de los datos fueron tres momentos (administración de TouchGraph sobre Facebook, entrevista individual y Focus Group). El análisis de los datos fue cuantitativo, de análisis de grafos y cualitativo. Con respecto a los resultados se observaron que los varones tuvieron redes con mayor dispersión en cuanto al número de miembros y las mujeres mayor homogeneidad (menor número de subgrupos). En los grafos se observó que la familia tuvo una baja importancia (está aislada, es pequeña y con baja relación o no está). El análisis cualitativo, reveló un acercamiento crítico a Facebook y que la protección de la privacidad obstaculiza la relación a través de esta red con la escuela y los padres. Finalmente las redes personales digitales brindan apoyo afectivo, informacional, tangible y axiológico.
