The aim of this study is to perform a situational analysis of the Laboratory of pulp and paper-UNESP ITAPEVA for conducting proposal the accreditation according to ISO / IEC 17025:2005. The ISO / IEC 17025 establishes the criteria for those laboratories wishing to demonstrate their technical competence, which have an effective quality system and are able to generate technically valid results, establishing a single international standard for certifying the competence of laboratories to carry tests and / or calibrations, including sampling. The case study was conducted on laboratory Pulp and Paper Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), campus Itapeva, where we compared the views of the technician responsible for the laboratory and a regular user. The generated conclusion is that the laboratory is unable to initiate an accreditation process, because it fails the requirements such as quality manual, register of subcontractors, research of customer satisfaction, schedule of internal audits, schedule for completion of critical analysis, profile of the functions required, functions current description, documentation of technical requirements for accommodation and environmental conditions, calibration programs, equipment calibration program, programs calibration standards and reports and / or certificate of test and / or calibration, that are in accordance with ISO / IEC 17025:2005, beyond that there is not the possibility to develop and implement a quality system without the commitment of everyone involved, regardless of the functional hierarchy

The quality in construction is increasingly a concern in this sector, in view of the occurrence of problems in civil works, even when a contractor is certified by ISO 9001. The ISO 9001 certification does not ensure the maintenance of quality because it only establishes the requirements for a quality management system (QMS) to ensure standardization of processes and products. With the development of ISO 15575, standard performance, the builders took on a quality parameter with the requirements established by this Standard, which must be met. Thus, the implementation of a quality management system (QMS) becomes essential, showing users the concern for quality. This study aimed to verify, through a case study, the impact of NBR 15575 quality construction and how that standard of performance may be the key element of ISO 9001 to ensure quality maintenance of civil works

The quality control is of great importance for the development of any organization, mainly for providing an assurance of delivering high quality services and goods for the consumers. Quality can be defined by the word „change‟, for the company which intends to implement a quality control system must be open to changes. This can be noticed from the JURAN concept (1992 In SILVEIRA ET AL., 2002): “Quality is to fit for usage”, i.e., depending on the goal, the situation and the consumer, quality is seen in different ways, since each one has different wishes and opinions. Taking in to account the availability of means such as norms, theories and tools, that contribute for an efficient quality management system, this discrepancy of opinions and the lack of objectivity of this concept can be solved, since through the analyzes of these means one can set quality standards, i.e., market references which fulfill both consumers and builders demands. Thus, the quality concept ceases to be something so abstract, non-measurable, to become a more objective concept. Finally, the goal of this work is to analyze the quality concept through bibliographic studies and possible consumers‟ enquires, aiming at the building industry, and show how the quality, often taken as something abstract, can be a measurable and objective concept, that benefits both the consumer as well as the enterprise of this branch

A avaliação de impacto ambiental tem sido muitas vezes, vista apenas como um procedimento burocrático para a obtenção da licença ambiental, desconsiderando os estudos realizados, após a aquisição da licença e contratando outros serviços para orientar a adoção de um sistema de gestão objetivando boas práticas ambientais. Porém sabe-se que a estrutura geral das metodologias de avaliação de impacto ambiental apresenta muitos pontos semelhantes se comparada à identificação dos aspectos e impactos ambientais de um sistema de gestão ambiental, o que indica uma interface entre os dois instrumentos apesar da execução integrada ainda não ser um procedimento comum na gestão ambiental de empreendimentos. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho objetivou analisar as possibilidades do emprego de um sistema de gestão ambiental preconizado pela ISQ 14001 para o gerenciamento de programas ambientais decorrentes de processos de avaliação de impacto ambiental e de licenciamento ambiental de usinas hidrelétricas, através do foco específico naqueles progrmas relacionados diretamente com o monitoramento e o controle da qualidade e da qualidade da água do reservatório, que é um fator essencial para a função de produção de um empreendimento hidrelétrico. Para esta análise, utilizou-se o caso da usina hidrelétrica de Santo Antônio, identificando 9 programas ambientais decorrentes de processos de avaliação de impacto ambiental com grandes possibilidades de serem utilizados na estruturação de sistemas de gestão ambiental de usinas hidrelétricas e cuja adequada execução, corrobora com a integração entre os respectivos instrumentos além de corresponder à necessidade de compatibilização dos instrumentos de política ambiental na busca de um desenvolvimento com adequada proteção ambiental e de uma atuação mais consciente das organizações

This graduate work approaches the study of Statistical Process Control - SPC, in a stage production of an industrial frame, aiming to use the tool of statistical process control (SPC) to assess the process capability. Where the process needs improvement as well not meet the specifications. Assessing the needs that the company needs to improve quality management, and the difficulties they present during the implementation of the CEP. The present study is to use the method of case study. The results are presented through study of the level of defects using Pareto diagrams and control chart by - (p) fraction defective, and checking the capacity and stability of the process using control charts and histograms XbarraR. The process demonstrated the need for improvements in process and quality management. At the end of the work are presented suggestions for improving the quality system of the company

O uso de radiações ionizantes (R.I.), nas mais variadas atividades tem aumentado nas últimas décadas. Com o avanço tecnológico, novos e sofisticados equipamentos emissores de R.I. tem surgido no cenário nacional, o que torna imperativo a difusão do conhecimento sobre os conceitos de proteção radiológica junto à comunidade em geral, e neste sentido, o curso de física médica desenvolve um importante papel, quer seja no aspecto informativo quanto formativo de cidadãos e profissionais críticos e politicamente corretos, que possam contribuir com as Políticas Públicos dos órgãos normatizadores e fiscalizadores das atividades de vigilância sanitária. Conforme a legislação atual (Resolução SS-625 de 14/12/1994, da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde, e Portaria 453 de 01/06/1998 da Vigilância Sanitária do Ministério da Saúde), todos os serviços que utilizam radiações ionizantes devem realizar testes de avaliação dos parâmetros radiométricos dos equipamentos emissores de R.I., sendo exigidos as medidas de Levantamento Radiométrico das instalações, o Teste de Radiação de Fuga do cabeçote emissor e a implementação de Programa de Garantia de Qualidade dos equipamentos e dos procedimentos radiológicos. Este procedimento tem como objetivo principal a obtenção de imagens radiográficas com qualidade e a segurança de pacientes e profissionais, evitando a exposição desnecessária à radiação de pacientes e profissionais. A correta realização de procedimentos radiológicos além de reduzir a dose nos pacientes também promove significativa diminuição nos custos, por não haver necessidade da repetição dos exames. Quality Management has become an essential requirement for all companies intending to compete and ensure its place in the labor market. Several tools have been created as a way of ensuring the effectiveness of quality management, in order to control and manage the quality of services and products to ensure a final product with a high degree of competition and quality, besides satisfaction and exceeding customer expectations. Due to the great importance it has at the presente time on the world stage and internationally, civil construction felt the need to eliminate the defects and the lack of quality that have become so common over time to ensure a quality product and it´s customers satisfaction. It was then that this industry began to implement and develop more modern techniques and tools for quality control in construction. Quality achieved position in global market, defining which companies would continue and which companies would leave it, not to mention it became insistently required by the customer. Some tools such as ISO 9000 guided companies seeking a quality management. This presentation will present some of these management tools and their applicability in the civil construction industry. Thus, it will be evident that despite the current resources it is necessary that civil construction professionals abandon the idea that considers quality management a problem and begin thinking about it as a solution to prevent future errors and ensure the quality of their services

The fishery products are sources of protein of high biological value and an important component in a balanced diet. However, they are highly subject to deterioration, which represents a serious risk to public health. Thus, rigorous methods are needed for quality assurance of fish in all stages of the production chain. Traditionally, the Brazilian population does not have the habit of eating fish, although the country presents a great potential for aquaculture, which is underexploited. The consumption of fish is limited by socio-economic factors. Currently, the search for food security is a global trend. O presente trabalho tem como finalidade discutir o conceito de qualidade em educação a partir dos indicadores propostos pelo Ministério da Educação e Cultura (MEC) e pela Ação Educativa, através da conceituação da ideia de indicadores de qualidade em educação e seus objetivos; da definição o percurso histórico do conceito de indicadores de qualidade em educação e da análise dos indicadores de qualidade em educação propostos pelo documento da Ação Educativa e do MEC, além de analisar formas de avaliação da qualidade da educação propostas pelas duas instituições. Esta pesquisa de natureza qualitativa se constituiu de uma pesquisa qualitativa envolvendo pesquisa bibliográfica e analise documental acerca do tema “Indicadores de Qualidade na Educação Básica”. Para tanto, a presente pesquisa buscou utilizar-se das publicações oficiais como “Indicadores de Qualidade em Educação”, da Ação Educativa e o “Índice de Desenvolvimento na Educação Básica”, do MEC, como fonte documental. A etapa seguinte envolveu o levantamento e seleção das informações relevantes para o tema proposto nesta pesquisa, evidenciando os dados relativos a critérios, formas de aplicação e metodologia usados nos documentos pelas instituições acima citadas que tratam da questão da qualidade em educação no país. A análise dos documentos mostra diferentes formas de avaliação da qualidade da educação, envolvendo quesitos quantitativos como as médias obtidas nas disciplinas de português e matemática, ou ainda, a partir da participação da própria comunidade escolar

This study aimed to produce beer, using different botanical origins of honeys (orange, eucalyptus and wild), as malt adjuncts, and their Physical-chemical and sensorial characterizations. The production was made with malt, water, hops and honey. All musts were adjusted to 12 Brix, and the concentration of honey in the formulation was 45% (based on the extract), except for the control (0%). The physical and chemical analysis were performed on malt (extract content), honey (pH, free acidity, lactonic acidity, total acidity, color, turbidity, extract content, moisture content, reducing sugar, total reducing sugar and sucrose) in wort (content extract, pH, color, turbidity, fermentability ,bitterness and total acidity) and beer apparent extract, apparent fermentability, real extract, real fermentability, alcohol content, pH, total acidity, total foam, foam density , bitterness, carbon dioxide, color and turbidity). Sensory analysis was performed by nine-points hedonic scale testing. The attributes evaluated were appearance, aroma, flavor and overall. The results were submitted to ANOVA and means compared by Tukey testing at a 5% of probability. Beer with honey as adjuncts’ had high fermentability and low content of fat, compared to the pure malt beer. The addition of honey as an adjunct did not affect the majority of the physical-chemical parameters, except for turbidity, whereas beer with honey showed the highest value for this feature, in addition, it has also presented their biterness differences the values for beer with honey were lower. The different types of honeys did not affect the acceptability of beer, however, the beer with honey showed greater acceptance between beer with malt and honey

O ofloxacino, uma fluorquinolona de segunda geração, foi sintetizada em 1982, apresenta eficácia e segurança no tratamento comprovadas. A determinação da potência dos antimicrobianos é importante no controle e na garantia da qualidade das preparações farmacêuticas e faz-se necessário o desenvolvimento de procedimentos práticos e econômicos que possam ser validados e aplicados no doseamento desses fármacos. Dentre os ensaios microbiológicos, os mais comumente empregados são o de difusão em ágar e o turbidimétrico. Na literatura, apenas são encontradas descrições de ensaios para o ofloxacino utilizando o método de difusão em ágar. O método turbidimétrico tem como uma das principais vantagens, a necessidade de menor tempo de análise. O método consiste na avaliação quantitativa de substâncias em função da turbidez de suas suspensões, proporcional a seu poder de difração sobre luz incidente (efeito Tyndall) (FB 5, 2010). O objetivo desse trabalho foi desenvolver um método microbiológico analítico para quantificação do ofloxacino que possa ser usado para análises rotineiras em laboratórios de controle de qualidade. Os parâmetros estudados para a validação do método analítico para quantificação do ofloxacino não atenderam a todas as especificações recomendadas. Assim sendo, pode-se concluir que este trabalho de conclusão de curso, não conseguiu atingir seu objetivo que era de desenvolver e validar uma metodologia analítica. O método demonstrou desenvolvimento complexo e trabalhoso e não apresentou o paralelismo e exatidão necessários para validação

This work consists of the implementation of the steps Define, Measure , Analyze , Improve and Control ( DMAIC ) to develop a Six Sigma project in an industry the food industry. The objective was to demonstrate a potential for reducing the occurrence of crushed cans in potting milk powder industry in a White Belt project. The food industry accounts for about 9 % of Brazil's gross domestic product ( GDP ), generating thousands of jobs . Among the major sectors of the food industry is the manufacturing sector of milk , occupies approximately 10 % of the total turnover of the food industry . Brazil is considered today one of the eight largest producers of milk powder in the world. The milk powder is packed , mostly for aluminum cans that are lined internally with varnishes and other materials to protect the milk of metals from aluminum. When the cans are dented food protection is compromised and may lead ingestion causing dis-eases such as botulism. Aiming to solve the problem of dented cans methodology was used as a case study with a quantitative approach through the DMAIC method. Some quality tools used in each step of the project as brainstorming , cause and effect diagram , flowchart , ef-fort and impact matrix, 5W1H , among other Pareto diagram is presented . A survey about the disposal of cans in the company verifying a mean loss and, from this histor-ical , a goal loss was calculated was performed . With the target set we calculated the annual saving design . During application of DMAIC was found that the highest rate of loss occurred in transportation between the factory and the factory that fills cans milk . Several actions were taken to resolve problems that resulted in dented cans and the first two months of phase control it was found that the smaller losses calculated target resulting in a saving for the company. This work brings to its content proposed deployment of a system of quality management in paving asphalt based on the elaboration of a basic training to meet those entering this area of civil engineering at a technical manual for the implementation of major services running on paving of roads. The training was designed to serve both those entering the field of asphalt paving, synthesizing the complex processes involved in paving services and providing an overview of the steps in implementation thereof, as well as entrants must meet the enterprise user of this system, providing them an idea of the method used by the company designing the paving of roads. The technical manual presented in turn, has 8 (eight) of the main services components of a work of paving, which are: Mobilization and Maintenance of construction site, Regularization and subfloor preparation, execution or sub-base BGS base (graded gravel plain), Execution of sub-base or base BGTC (graded gravel treated with cement), Implementation of subbase or base Macadam hydraulic Priming bituminous waterproofing, asphalt binder Priming and finally the execution flexible pavement - HMA (hot milled asphalt concrete). These services are presented in the form of IT-Education work, this seven items are presented that guide the performance of services, thus providing overall guidelines to perform the services described in it. The development of IT's was based on experiences in day-to-day paving near the theoretical precepts presented in the literature, so the conditions specified in these documents aim to always guide the implementation of services in general, giving the process a versatility major operation, as this work takes into account the dynamics of such services, as well as the variety of their execution according to local conditions and specified in the project. No ambiente competitivo em que as empresas estão inseridas, verifica-se um crescimento significativo da divulgação sobre a importância de uma gestão adequada, objetivando a manutenção de sua sustentação competitiva. As exigências de mercado fazem crescer continuamente a preocupação em implantar Sistemas de Gestão da Qualidade, não só no universo das grandes corporações, mas também das empresas prestadoras de serviços, como por exemplo, os laboratórios de ensaio. A Promulgação da Lei dos medicamentos Genéricos (LEI 9787), por meio da RDC 299/99 estabelece que os laboratórios possuem o dever de prestar serviços que atendam aos princípios fundamentais de gestão da qualidade analítica e de boas práticas de laboratório. Nesse contexto e visando a condução dos ensaios exigidos para o registro de medicamentos genéricos, a Rede Brasileira de Laboratórios Analíticos em Saúde teve sua origem. Dentre os requisitos estabelecidos pela REBLAS para habilitação de laboratórios na condução de ensaios de Equivalência Farmacêutica, é determinado que “o laboratório deve estabelecer, implementar e manter um Sistema da Qualidade apropriado ao escopo das suas atividades” (ANVISA, 2002). Assim, torna-se indispensável a existência de um Manual da Qualidade, ferramenta que descreve o Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade de acordo com a política e objetivos que são declarados pela organização, bem como um Manual de Segurança em Laboratório para a Unidade Operacional de Equivalência Farmacêutica da UNESP.
